MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. Hello folks! It is that wonderful time of the month again where we can recognize and appreciate those people who have given us pure gold to read! That is right! Time to nominate for Mutant of the Month!
Who tantalized you?
Who terrified you?
Who made you laugh? Cry? Dive under the safe covers of your blankets for protection because the scratching sound on your bedroom door (as far-fetched as it could be) might possibly be their posts come to kidnap you?

Sooo I thought about this for awhile, and I'd like to nominate Shade as the Mutant of the Month. I've found his character to be dynamic, enjoyable to read, and I love the fact that in one post he can be trying to kill you and the next trying to help you. Then, at the same time, he gets so darn embarrassed being caught without pants on. ; ). Yeah, we know he's not going to live that down for awhile.
Some notable Shade topics (IMHO) are:
Hummingbirds - One of the more recent threads, but definitely stalk worth if nothing more than for a giggle.
A Snake in the Grass - And oldie, but goody, especially considering there is another upcoming infiltration of the Mansion in the future. (shamelessly plugs that event to all x-men)
Talking to the Shadows - A short one, but I think it shows the interesting dynamic of Shade as a character; helpful and slightly creepy at the same time.
My nomination will actually be for the pretty, prolific, moon-powered mutant above me! Since she's joined MRO barely half a month ago, Tses has torn through threads like a madwoman, which makes the high quality of her posts so darn impressive! Her attention to detail, her style, and her mutli-faceted talents have shown through quickly.
Of course, much of her amazing work has been through the wonderful relationship arc her and Ty are crafting, but there has been plenty to be impressed by when Tses interacts with others!
Moonlit Shadows- Shade realizes that the Full Moon is not an ideal time to get on Tses's bad side.
A "Bloody" Bad Evening/Bleeding Emotions- Tses leads Serena through a tough time to a new place and a new friend while dealing with the most foreign of concepts: "feelings."
Holidays and Hooligans- Christmas Time at the zoo between a pair of troublemakers in love.
I am gonna keep this short, I am seconding the nomination for Tses.
Beyond her name that i still have trouble pronouncing, Tses pumps out threads like a group of people are holding her family for hostage and have a 500 post ransom due in three days. ( Tses, I love the enthusiasm, but your work ethic is F-ING NUTS)
These posts may come at machine gun speed, but i never feel like they have been rushed or overlooked. Each of them stays succinct while moving the plotline and providing enough detail to be a truly worthy contribution to those she writes with.
As an added note, she is also quite the useful proofreader if one is looking to improve their writing skills.
