The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Taking the first bite of the Chinese food and savoring the flavors Hercules closed his eyes and nodded his head, ”Delicious.” all the food was. Hercules was always amazed with what mortals could do with food over the centuries. It was inspiring.
When she moved her cinnamon bun to the side Hercules put his fork down as he felt her gaze upon him. His eyes were hard to meet hers mainly due to the swirling light show that was the woman’s body. It was... distracting to say the least but Hercules didn’t want to be rude so he matched her gaze.
>>> “I am Caelistis of capital district Triton of Atlantis,”
So that was why she wanted to know if he had been to Atlantis before. She was from there. Excellent! He hadn’t met anyone from Atlantis yet and he was curious what became of it and it’s people after it sank. He had heard word that it had resurfaced recently but with William being in his charge it was hard to travel. The prince of power doubted the masters would have appreciated the distance. They were all vulnerable without him.
>>>”Though…that is no longer home. Citizen here now. X-Men said so.”
She was a refugee. Her accent reminded him of ancient times. It was familiar and it pained him a little as it reminded him how old he was. Friends, masters, and lovers all faded with the passage of time. The behemoth smiled and returned the bow. If it was a formal getting she should have it.
”It truly is an honor to meet you Caelistis of Captial district Triton of Atlantis.” he started before reverting back to his old language one that would have been prevalent in Atlantis unless they changed their language completely after the sinking of the place, ”I am Hercules, son of Zues. Slayer of Titans, slayer of monsters, former hero of Olympus. Current hero of humanity. Hero of the twelve labors and many more.” his bow was a little lower. Seeing as she was being so polite and his humble beginnings he figured it was polite.
Returning back to English, ”The X-men?” Hercules smile widened, ”I have fought battles alongside them recently! I consider many of them friends! Sam of the Rime? Gawain of reflections? Elizabeth speaker for the Animals?” he scooped a fork full of chicken into his mouth and chewed it.
”Are you no longer welcome back on Atlantis?” he asked curiously hoping it wasn’t a sore subject. ”Tell me what has become of Atlantis? It has been so long since I had been there.”
”But of course!” Hercules said holding the elevator. It took some time but eventually all the ants that Elizabeth wanted to accompany them made it into the elevator. The music started to play and the elevator started to descend to the first floor.
Once or twice the doors opened to a group of people staring looking for a spot to stand in the machine. Hercules tried to make himself as small as possible standing in the back. ”Going down?” he held the doors open for a minute until the members of each group decided to wait for the next one. ”Very well! Have a wonderful day!”
”I’m sorry for the abduction.” he said again as the doors dinged open. Holding the doors for the ants once again Hercules waited for the ‘all clear’ from Elizabeth before exiting fully and walking to the entrance of the building. A few people gathered around his club he left by the entrance. The building security said no weapons. Hercules was all but happy to oblige.
Some of the younger onlookers even took turns trying to lift the club. ”Thank you for keeping an eye on my club!” Hercules roared with laughter as one of the kids even managed to move the handle slightly. ”A few years from now you might be able to move it! Truly inspiring!” walking over he grabbed the end of the club and hefted the weapon in his other hand and exited the building.
”Now! Shall we?” Hercules asked before holding onto the club as he threw in the direction of the nature preserve lifting them both off the ground with his might.
Her enthusiasm was not what the ancient Greek was hoping for. It was.... lack luster. In fact she even went back to eating her snack. The glowing faded, though his tattoo’s kept moving and he sat back down after a moment and went back to his second slice almost as if he was sulking.
”Of course I know of Atlantis!” he’d be a bad Greek and an even worse Roman. Atlantis was an ancient civilization. Not as ancient as he was but it was still old. He recalled even going there once or twice after he was summoned. Or did he live there? It was a short time and all the ancient cities started to blend together after a while.
”I can’t recall if I’ve spent much time there though. It was pretty young when I went there. It has been a few centuries.” the Demi-God thought out loud. He took a break from the second slice and scratched his chin mulling it over for a moment or three before finishing the second slice and pulling over the plate with a mound of meat, rice and vegetables from the Chinese restaurant that was next to the Pizza one.
”I refuse!” he said proudly. The slap was felt more from the fact that she was wanting to strike him. He’d beg for forgiveness later. She needed to get out of the small office and back into nature where she truly shined. He didn’t know if it was the ants making her such a recluse or the fact that she didn’t want to discuss what was bothering her. Either way she need to get out and the prince of power was all to happy to help. No, it was an honor to help!
>>>"This is not humorous!"
”I know. Apologies once again.”
>>> "Hercules!"
”I’m hoping to make it up to you.”
>>>>"Where are you taking me?"
Slowing to the elevator pressing the down button, the prince of power said cheerly ”Out!” he didn't’ want to spoil the surprise but the ancient Greek did have William look into a nature preserve outside of the city. One where man was not allowed to build. Just observe.
The doors were about to shut and he looked back seeking a stream of ants trailing behind them. The door was about to shut then opened again when he stuck his foot out. ”Shall we wait for your friends?” he asked patiently.

”Atlasss!” roared Hercules as he tried to push off of the wall he was slowly coming up on his fingertips barely made contact but it was enough for Hercules to redirect himself with a small push. Unfortunately for Hercules that also meant he was bumping into the nearest statue continuing it on towards Rex.
”Pray that you don’t!” Hercules shouted as he looked to William. ”Summon me!” he couldn’t move the way he wanted. The boy only had the second rate summon with him. Shadow was still nowhere to be seen. “I don’t see the point but...” William looked up to see the mystics flee out of view and he decided that it was fine with him. Almost.
“Shadow, track.” William said before looking back to Herc and then a place nearby that was free of anything. “Herc, I need you.” the prince of power blinked out of existence with a bright light then reappeared a few feet from William
”I agree!” Hercules said, just not sure where to take him.

Hercules grunted loudly as Atlas rolled away from him and ran. The other mystics seemed to be doing the same. At least the ones that could move. The statues went into the air followed by Hercules ”What trickery is this! Fight us cowards!” Hercules called out as he started to float upside down. The prince of power’s stomach started to churn.
William and Shadow started to float as well, thought the hell hound vanished into the nearest shadow of a statue that was now floating in the air alongside Hercules. The ancient brute swung and only sent himself hurtling backwards into a wall.
William was having better luck as soon as he went to the air he shouted for the owl to come to his aid. Something Hercules seemed more upset about then loosing his footing. ”I;m right here!” the spectral owl stopped bombarding the other mystic and flew back to William and perched on the back of his wheelchair flapped twice then righted the boy.
“They are getting away!”[/color] William said as he studied the sword in his lap as if it was more exciting to learn than the fighting going on around them.
The prince of power scarfed the pizza quickly. Years of battle and training had taught him to eat quickly for trouble could happen at any moment. Which was a shame because it was difficult to savor the flavors. Luckily there was a second one.
With his mouth full he listened to her noting an accent. It sounded familiar but he couldn’t place it. ”Fortutious I should happen to be here on a break then!” he said taking another bite and admiring the constellations until she registered the name.
Clearing his throat and swallowing the rest of his mouthful of pizza he stood. His tattoo’s under his shirt started to glow as they continued to follow no rhyme or reason as they traced across his skin. One of the buttons on his shirt nearest his neck shot off across the food court.
”HA HA! WHO ELSE WOULD I BE?!” roared the prince of power glad someone made the connection. ”Those are but only a few of my many deeds!” he pointed to one of the glowing tattoos on his bicep and flexed towering over the table he sat at moments ago.
”What a wonderful day! I normally get more skepticism when I reveal who I am!” he couldn’t wait to tell Elizabeth and the other masters.
There were many ways the prince of power could have forcedly removed her from the small room. He could have opened the small room up into the hallway and demand for her to pay attention. He however settled on one after seeing the look she had given him. The ants started to move closer to the muscled behemoth and his glow faded.
This would not be a fight. The ants didn’t stand a chance he could have dispelled them with a swat of his club. Across the city the ancient weapon hummed to life and rose off the ground then dropped back when Hercules realized that it was responding to his thoughts.
The thought of harming the ants that connected to her made his stomach churn. He didn’t want to hurt her. Just help. ”I....” she wanted her to leave her alone. ”Uhhhh....” had he lost?
”No!” Hercules roared as he walked forward and shifted the desk out of the way taking care not to crush the ants he could see. ”I shall be the only distraction!” Hercules said as he scooped her up in one arm and threw her over his shoulder. ”Apologies!” he said as he ducked under the doorframe and making sure not to bump her head.

”Ah! Wonderful!” The smile continued as he set his bounty on the table near her but still giving her some space. They were strangers after all and Hercules had been told he could be intimidating. A fair assessment. He had slain titans before.
”I figured it be easier to gaze upon the beauty of the cosmos up close instead from across the food court! he said truthfully, it was a sight to behold. It reminded him of stargazing when he was a child. A memory he thought he had lost centuries ago.
”I am Hercules!” he didn’t offer a hand in greeting but rather a friendly wave before sitting down carefully so he didn’t bend the small frame of the chair. The groan of the chair told him sitting slowly was a good call. The stitching on his shirt stretched as it struggled to hold together when he sat back and clapped his hands over his food. A tattoo of one of his trials slowly cascaded over one of his forearms.
”How are you on this glorious day?” Hercules questioned looking away for a moment to his food and deciding where to start.

Today was a ‘self-care’ day! Hercules was not sure what the term meant but knew he had to leave Madison to her own devices. William had class and Serena was in meetings all day meaning he had little to help his masters with.
Hercules looked up the term ‘self-care’ it was “the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health” and he was a pinnacle of preserving one's health. The prince of power caught his reflection and resolidified that thought as he held the doors open to the mall to allow some older patrons to enter and exit.
He didn’t know what he was doing there but decided shopping would also be considered self-care. Along with a lunch. A big one.
“....Hercules?” someone from behind the counter asked as he roared, ”I am here!” he walked up exchanged a card for the tray and added it to the other three he was balancing on his hand and arm. All of them were full of different foods from around the food court. This place was truly magical. It reminded him of all the street markets from centuries before.
Looking for a table he slowed to see something beautiful it was like the skies themself opened and he was hit with the wonders of the universe. Stars, and the rest of the cosmos were before him and he slowed. He stared for a moment then cleared his throat, ”May I join you?”

Was she angry with him? For failing to protect the mansion? Madison would have mentioned it if she was. If only he understood texting!
Hercules started to glow by the end of her dismissal. He was irritated, very rarely was he dismissed so.... casually. Were they not dating? Were they not an item anymore? To think a mere mortal tired of the Greek former Olympian so easily. He was almost defeated. Almost.
Unfortunately for her Hercules strongest gift was his willpower and he too could be stubborn. His smile widened along with his stance. Rooting himself into the ground as if he was a ancient Greek statue and not just the model for one.
”It was not planned. I was told being spontaneous can help any relationship.” his glow brightened slowly. ”We haven’t had a chance yet to talk or I would have requested to see you earlier.” his eyes narrowed at the ants as they continued to move around.
”You are not ‘fine’. You have seem to forget who I am Elizabeth, I worry for everyone. The way you worry for these... helpers and all other forms of creatures.” the term ‘ant’ almost seemed like an insult with how efficient they were with moving the files around.
”I will not move!” he said glowing brighter. The tattoo’ swam across his body peering out through the ripped shit. ”I too can be stubborn Elizabeth. I am here to see you, no one else.”
The son of Zues chuckled when she said she was busy. Elizabeth seemed fine as well. Which was preciesly why he was here. So she wouldn’t be avoiding the unpacking of emotions. The ants scattered about the room and he looked down worried for a second he might have crushed them. ”So I gathered.” he folded his arms and stared at the paperwork and the ants that continued to rummage through files.
”I believe you are...” he for once thought about the words before he spoke. Something he was working on, ”in need for a break.” his arms still folded he took a few steps forward waiting for the ants to move out of the way as he strode to the desk.
Placing too massive hands on the desk he leaned over, ”I believe the work will still be here after our date!” he was half tempted to lift the desk and her and whisk her away so she could do the paperwork on the date.
”It has been days since I’ve last seen you and I am worried about you.” he said pleading with a smile. ”I’m willing to wait here till after your paperwork is finished if you’d like.” he looked over to the empty corner and stood there smiling with his hands on his hips.

Hercules was confused. That was why he was walking down the hallway to where Elizabeth was. She had poured herself in work and her students since the mansion was destroyed. Since the battle. They hadn’t really talked. Text messages were exchanged but those were the reason for his confusion.
A supportive Madison was the one to point it out after she asked how Elizabeth was. Apparently ‘Busy and fine’ meant something else. Which was so unlike Elizabeth. She was usually direct with her meaning. Which was why it went on for a few days before Madison, finally told him “Yeah, that’s avoident behavior. Fine is what people say when they don’t want to unpack what they’re dealing with.”
”I understand.” repeated the prince of power as he ripped the door off the hinges as he entered her temporary office in the Haven building. ”Elizabeth! I am here!” he flexed and looked down to the door and then set it behind him against the wall. His shirt ripped when he flexed a second time.
”I shall not let you avoid unpacking any longer! Allow me to help! I request a date!” he clenched his fist then gave her a thumbs up.
”Well you did a excellent job for your first one!” Hercules said truthfully. They all did even Elizabeth’s ex who constantly irritated the prince of power with his attitude and snarky comments. But Hercules didn’t focus on Carrick, no he focused on the people around him who fought with him in battle. While they lost the mansion they all walked away from the fight.
The sight of the two sharing a pastry caused Hercules to give another audible, ”Awwww! Adorable!” turning to August to let Agnes Belladonna Honey and no longer panicked girlfriend a moment.
His tattoo’s shifted around on his body as he leaned in closer to August. ”These wings you ordered... how many?” it was customary to feast after a battle, and Hercules hungered.
Looking to the newcomer who had offered the pastry to Agnes and panicked girlfriend, ”A third one?” the god roared with laughter and placed a hand on Zek’s shoulder, ”I love the tenacity! Ha! What a glorious day! It has been centuries since I have fought a battle such as this! With fine warriors such as you all.”
Knocking back the shot glass again Hercules roared, ”Another.... please!” he had to remind himself this was Madison’s place of work and the bartenders were friends of his, a celebration was no reason to be impolite.
The wings arrived and one was offered. ”I have!” Hercules graciously accepted and chuckled. ”Ha ha! I cannot fly! I throw the club and hold on!” he said modestly finishing the wing in two bites. ”It’s all thanks to my masters! For without them I am powerless!” Hercules waved over to Serena and then Madison. ”They are truly wonderful people!”
William rolled his eyes as he ducked behind another marble statue looking out to the newcomers for anything useful they could use to their advantage. It was how he and Hercules got along so well when they got into incidents like this. It seemed to be repetitive.
After the bush of flames disarmed the sword wielder William shouted to the spectral owl. “Get me the sword!” the owl disengaged from divebombing one of the mystics and swooped low for the sword doing it’s best to avoid the flames.
It was an exchange of blows as Atlas and Hercules went back and forth trying to beat the other into submission. It seemed they were still evenly matched as Hercules’s glow brightened drawing more power from William and the other masters in the city.
With a mighty uppercut Hercules knocked Atlas back a few feet and forced the man to stumble a bit. ”It seems you have a glass jaw!” Hercules roared with laughter and continued the assault charging at the man and lifting him and slamming him down on the ground. The marble under him buckled and cracked.
“Herc! Rex! Finish this up!” William said making a break to a further statue where he met the owl with the sword. The feathered summon dropped the sword in William’s hand and flew back to the mystic who was controlling the purple cat.
