The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

She couldn't believe, He would let her use his sword? She didn't think if she ever had a a sword she let anyone even touch it let alone practice with it. This, however, didn't cause her to hesitate in the slightest and she slowly reached out for the hilt, not clumsily but nether awkwardly she grasped the firm handle, the weight felt reassuring in her hand. As she waited for him to instruct her she remembered to thank him, "thank you", for she knew this was a generous offer.

He gave a smile. "Just don't tell my grandfather. He wouldn't like it. You ever used one?" He doubted it, most children hadn't. Playing with swords wasn't seen as an 'acceptable' pastime for children amongst most adults. Luckily, his grandfather thought otherwise. "Don't worry, it's easy. Here, let me show you." Hes tood behind her, and put his hand over hers on the hilt. "Pretend that there's someone in front of you, and stab them.[/color]" He thrust his, and her, hand forward, effectively killing the pretend enemy. "Now you try." He stepped back to watch her have a go.
No, she had never had the honour to use a sword before, but she could tell that he knew this already so instead she focused on the wonderful blade in her hand, feeling it react as she simply twitched her wrist. He put his hand over hers and guided her through a simply thrust, and then let go. She gained entire control of the blade again and copied his movement, straight into the air in front. She thought it was going fine until her wrist twisted slightly when she brought the blade back into her body. She tried again and this time kept her wrist steady the whole time. She nodded, happy enough with her movement, and looked at him for the next move or a critic.

He expected to first move to be a little off, but the second attempted surprised him. He grinned at her, "Great! Ok, now try slashing him." He'd let her have a go on her own first, and help her if she made a mistake.
She slashed diagionally in the air, form to right to left, hoping this was what he was after. The more she practised with the sword the deeper her love for blades became. she performed the movemnet agian, thid time in a swiping arc form the imaginay collor bone of her oppaant. She laked the elagance he had, her arm and the blade were two seperate objects working together not one, but the movement had a little grace and it felt right somehow. Once more she waited eager to see what would come next.

Shogun grinned as she swiped away. "Good! Ok, this time, I want you to spin and swipe, as though slicing his leg." If she could pull this off, then he'd be impressed. Few adults had the natural grace that she had. And as she used the blade, her Void filled with emotion. Gradually, but it was something.
Isabel looked down to the car in the girl's hands as it was shown to her, giving a smile to the girl, that smile only widening some as the girl's ears twitched. The ears were cute and Isabel almost wished she had a pair. Almost. She wasn't sure what her parents would think if she sprouted ears like that. The didn't seem to like her much anymore, and she looked normal. It was just the bone stuff inside of her that she could change. "Why do you need parts? Are you building a robot?" she asked, a few rough images of what kind of robot it could be flitting through her head. "Oh, I'm Isabel. What's your name?"
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
What did he mean? He wanted her to spin and then swipe as if striking his leg, okay, she supposed she would just hope for the best if she had misinterpreted it then surely he would simply correct her. She held the blade straight up in front of her, pointing to the sky, and as she stepped forward with her right foot she swiped the blade down wards in a neat arc. It would have slashed the side of her opponent's knee had he existed. She stumbled at the end, Oh yes now she had to remember her footwork simultaneously to the movement of her wrist.
She stepped back, and tried again, this time she focused on the required action, letting go of her excitement she just focused. She didn't stumble this time, though the arc wasn't quite as neat. So she tried again, and again, and again. After the sixth attempt she stopped, it had seemed to flow the last two times, but she wanted his approval.
As she waited she heard a child shout a challenge out to the playground Who dares invade my playground. I the great King Avello claimed this land before any of you dared lay a foot upon it. you trespass upon my kingdom and I say nay to you." . Stupid child, what did he know of kings, and kingdoms, it was nothing but a fairy tale for him. But Mia didn't see it as her place to shatter his dreams, the world would do that soon enough.

Takumi grimiced slightly at her first attempt, but after a few she seemed to get the hang of it. "Great! Now, I want you to..." Takumi noticed a red boy with a tail shouting from the top of the monkey bars. He could tell that the boy didn't really mean it, but felt like teaching him a lesson anyway. "Hey, what do you say we go knock him off his castle? It'll be fun!" He grinned at Mia, planning to go try and stab the boy regardless of whether or not she came with.
"Hey, what do you say we go knock him off his castle? It'll be fun!"
Nox thought for a moment, she still agreed with her earlier decision but she didn't want to loss Takumi because then she might not get another turn with the sword. She simply shrugged and followed, it might be entertaining she supposed to see the fantasy of the child shatter before his eyes. It's cruel world. And any way there was sunshine directly over the monkey bars. She loved sunshine, as she stepped into she could feel the raw energy around her.

Ruby smiled letting out a small yip of joy. She was happy someone was smart enough to know what she was building. Her fox ears twitched happily her tail wrapping around her little body.
"How did you know, thats exactly what im trying to build?!" The fox girl asked, green eyes glittering with happiness.
Emerald smiled and ran with Michael over to the playground, tail wagging back and forth happily. When they reached it Emerald looked up at the bright red boy, tail wagging back and forth curiously.
"If you say nay that means your'e a horse." Emerald replied, going close to the monkey bars. "And if your the king I am the Valiant Female Knight that will stop you!" Emerald exclaimed, taking her baseball cap, twisting it backwards.
She looked over to Michael. "Wanna help a lady Knight out?"
Sapphire shrugged. "I like to paint. Arts and craft and stuff like that." Sapphire replied.
Kitra's eyes glowed with happiness, "Really? I love sketching myself. I like painting too, but I'm not really that good at it." She pointed to the red monkey boy on the monkey bars, "I wonder what's going on over there." She grinned at Sapphire, "Wanna go check it out?"
Isabel giggled a little at the fox girl's happy little yip as well as the twitching ears and the sight of the tail, which she'd overlooked before. "You said you were looking for robot parts, so I figured you were going to build a robot," she said simply, her eyes flickering between the car in her hands to her face.
Hearing a new voice shouting out over the playground, Isabel turned her head to see who it was that was yelling. She looked up quizzically at the boy that had climbed up on the monkey bars a little ways off, the one with the red skin and the tail. Soon that silly little smile crossed her face again as she watched a few other kids respond to him. "That looks like a fun game, you wanna go play with them?" she asked Ruby, turning back to the little fox girl.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.

Takumi went out of the shade of the tree, and made a beeline for the red monkey. He drew his sword and whacked it against the monkey bars, giving a nice ringing sound, in the hopes of getting the boy's attention. "I am Takumi, and I challenge your right to rule!" He kept his face toward the boy, as though he could actually see, in the hopes that it would confuse him.
