The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Daria beamed. Her parents had owned a restaurant and so cooking was a part of her nature, practically. To be able to look into the cabinet and estimate whether or not they had enough supplies was something Daria had acquired through years of practice-so she knew Hairpin must have experience.
"Medium it is then." Daria said. "Now, Sarah, I like to be as organized as possible." She walked over to the cabinet and teleported the flour, olive oil, sugar and yeast from the cabinet. Then, she removed the cheese tomato sauce, and all the seasonings from their respective places. Soon everything was lined neatly on the counter.
The cookware floated past Daria as she said that, Hairpin already taking the initiative. "Do you like to cook Daria? It's my favorite thing to do." Hairpin said, looking at Daria while the cookware settles itself behind her.

Daria grinned. "Yes, my parents used to won a restaurant." She said grabbing a metal bowl for the dough. "And I grew up around food. I had to teach my self to make pizza-soul food is my specialty." she grinned.
"What can I do?" Sarah pranced irritatedly, feeling left out. She hopped onto a stool next to Daria. "Can I turn on the Stove?"
"NO!" Daria shouted before she could stop herself. "I mean, Kitty's gonna show you how to make the dough, and then you can flatten it out." she said.
Hairpin proceeded to show Sarah the way she had taught herself to kneed the dough, and together the girls flattened it out and Hairpin turned to Daria, knowing it was almost perfect. It would have been perfect had she used her hair, but she decided not to for Sarah's sake.

Daria meanwhile had been mixing the ingrediants into the tomato sauce, normally she would've used real tomatoes but the kitchen didn't carry italian -restaurant level vegetables. There was, though, enough seasonings to make a pretty damn good sauce. She spead it over the dough with a ladel.
Hairpin constucted a mental image of what had been in the fridge. "We have olives, pepperoni, and... and..." Hairpin thought of the last thing she'd seen. "Sardines." Sarah said with a blink.
"Olives, olives, and more olives!" Hairpin said happilly. The fridge opened and olives and pepperoni flew out. They landed on the pizza, in a perfect pattern.
Hairpin concentrated, and the timer turned itself to the proper length in her hands. She grinned up at Daria. It floated out of her hands, and set down on the counter. The sound of scratching could be heard from within the fridge.

Sarah was next to the fridge and qucikly backed away. "Um...DARIA...."
Daria, of course, had already heard it, in her ears it was quite loud. "Chillax, Sarah, its all good." She inched toward the door and opened it wide, standing back.
Dafi promptly fell out of the fridge, the large bag of baby carrots spillong out onto her, enveloping her within the small pile. All that was visible were her large ears and a foot. ~I suppose I deserved that...~ Dafi said in Hairpin's and Daria's heads, causing Hairpin to giggle.

Daria and Sarah laughed as well.
"Awwww. Poor thing." Daria said.
She lifted up the rabbit gingerly and set her upon the counter, putting the carrots back in the bag and placing the contents next to her. Dafi licked her lips and stuck her head in the bag. A crunching sound filled the air and Sarah laughed harder.
Hairpin smiled again, as she had been doing constantly thanks to the likes of Daria, Mike, Sarah, and Dafi. Dafi was and always would be her best friend, and could make her happy just by being nearby. The rabbit was the only thing that truly helped her deal with her parent's deaths. Hairpin floated over to the rabbit, and slowely began stroking it's fur. ~I love you Dafi.~ Hairpin thought to the bunny. ~I love you too Kitty.~ the bunny replied sincerely.
