The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Jax had just finished having dinner with Fredrick, and she leaned against the inside of her bedroom door. Looking around at the still new surroundings, despite being unpacked, she sighed. After dating a man for a few weeks, how do you explain that you are breaking up with him because you think you are dreaming about the future? His response had been less than understanding.
She thumped the back of her head against the door, wondering how she attracted guys who thought she wanted to be the perfect little subservient house-wife. Then, feeling tired, she went into her closet, preparing to strip out of the outfit she had chosen for the date. The mirror hanging on the door stopped her. And suddenly, it made sense.
Jax looked like Jackie Kennedy, a style and look she had always loved. In a white dress with two vertical rows of black buttons and a black belt, she looked like she had stepped out of the past. So it wasn’t surprising that she had been attracting men who were stuck in the past. The thought struck and she yanked open on of the wardrobe doors, and she stood there dumb struck.
Dress after dress after dress, one after the next, all said the same thing. The same cuts, and colors… What was with all the black and white! For a few minutes all she could do was stare in shock. The hair on the back of her neck prickled and she felt like she had been touched by a ghost. A ghost from her future dreams. All that black and white.
The jolt it sent through her system put a determined look on her face. Yanking down the most heinous offenders, she left some of the colorful items and things and one or two of the dresses that she loved more than the others. The rest, went in a heap at the foot of her bed. Stripping her body, she threw the dress she was wearing on the top of the pile. Yanking on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, not caring anymore, she stormed out of the room to get a big trash-bag.
Coming back, not bothering to close the door, she flicked her small stereo until rock music poured out and began shoving the dresses and other clothing into the bag, muttering under her breath. Romeo, good dog that he was, watched all this before jumping up off his bed and onto hers, whining slightly.

As soon as she had finished shoving the dresses in the bag, she grabbed her cell-phone off her nightstand, her hand petting Romeo. “It’s okay baby-boy. Momma is just having a wardrobe change.” Punching in the number she wanted she waited while it rang, looking around her room, her thoughts travelling.
Ring When she had first moved in, she had thought this had been a mistake. But then, after a few nights when she didn’t need to hide the fact that her powers had activated in her sleep, she started settling in. The people were her age and had powers like she did… well, different powers, but they had powers. For the first time she felt like she was really acting her age and enjoying the things other teens did. She had made a few friends…
Ring And any hesitation she had about bringing Romeo here quickly dissipated after she learned how to use the training room. She had managed to make a simple program, no fighting, no dangerous stuff… Just a park. Because of the leash laws in NY, Romeo had never been off leash at the park before, and watching him the first time had been more fun than she imagined. She usually went in there about an hour a day now, laying on the ‘grass’ reading while Romeo romped around, usually in the morning before it got crowded with people wanting to train their powers.
Rin…. “Hello?” “Hi! Kimmie, its Jaxon.” “Jaxon! Oh my god, where have you been? Your parents told my parents that you had moved out, but no one would tell anyone where you had gone. We all thought you were in rehab or something!…” The other girl laughed while Jaxon played along, rolling her eyes. “No, I’m not in rehab of anything like that. I just moved out and have been busy working on a research project for my father. And you know the minute I tell my parents where I am, they will swoop in and visit every day. I’m too busy for that right now.” Jaxon could feel Kimmie getting bored, poor thing had a short attention span, but she was a sweet girl. “The reason I’m calling is… You know how you are always trying to get me to dress more like you? Well, guess what? I want the address of that place you go to.” The squeal on the other end of the phone had Jaxon wincing and pulling the phone away from her ear. Writing the address and the name down, alonge with a few other names that Kimmie gave her, Jaxon talked for a few minutes, then ended the call.
Giving Romeo a last pat, she grinned at him. “Time for a make-over.”
Grabbing her purse and her keys, shoving the phone inside and the piece of paper in her pocket, Jaxon headed for the door after telling the black dog to be good.

After three hours of intensive shopping, Jaxon made it back to her room, toting what must have been her weight in clothes. She had to make three trips out to her car just to be able to carry it all in. She played with Romeo for a few minutes, before looking at the bags. She wanted to wear some of it, but she didn’t want to have fun on her own. And she needed some input on her purchases. She wasn’t sure if she had gone too far in the opposite direction of her previous retro styles…
Flipping through her journal, she only wrote certain things in it so there wasn’t much dirt incase anyone found it, but she knew what to look for. After a moment she found someone who might be up for some fun and would also be able to tell her if her clothes were too….slutty…
Bacchus was the perfect choice.
So Jax, went to go find him. Knowing his room was in the same building didn’t put it next door, so it took a bit of looking to find his room. The door was closed, so Jax knocked loudly and with a little tune. “Bacchus? Hey, It is Jaxon. You home?”

Carefully putting his test subject on the table Bacchus frowned slightly as he could hear Ulysses typing away on the computer next to him. Recently Bacchus had moved most of the critters in his room down a few flights in the Sanctuary. As of now Bacchus and Ulysses were located on the first floor of the basement. After asking for a little extra room for himself and his primate companion Abyss out of the kindness of his heart accepted Bacchus’s request and lent him the basement. Critters of all kinds lived in small habitats that Ulysses and he created, it was the equivalence of a small walk in zoo with artificial lighting.
No large animals as of now had lodging in Bacchus’s makeshift “Zoo” the largest animals he had in the place were his two crocodiles and two large snakes he had brought back with him from Columbia. Several other species of rodents, reptiles, birds, and insects had small habitats throughout the floor. Microscopes computers and incubators littered the back wall as Bacchus and Ulysses had used them regularly over the past few days. “Test subject 13 Acanthoscurria brocklehursti . Hope this one reacts better than the others…” Touching his goggles back over his eyes Bacchus pulled the glove off his hand and carefully touched the giant eight-inch spider. Bacchus looked over to Ulysses as the chimp went from typing away to writing on paper staring at Bacchus’s finger and the spider. “Careful… only expand a little, I don’t feel like defending my life from a giant eight legged freak…” Bacchus let out a small smile at the movie reference and tapped the spider, which remained still, and slowly like Bacchus finger the spider began to grow.
Hearing the loud knock and tune Bacchus lost his concentration and the spider grew quickly only some parts larger than others resulting in a failed science experiment. “Shit…” Bacchus said as he reached over to the rolled up newspaper and swatted the now two-foot spider knowing that he couldn’t fix it and Ulysses was in danger from the little beastie.
Throwing the dead spider and newspaper in the garbage he looked to Ulysses and said, “We’ll get it soon, think we can take five…” Bacchus said as Ulysses nodded and turned around to the computer and punched in a few variables tat Bacchus didn’t pay much attention to.
Quickly washing his hands and taking off his lab gear Bacchus pulled a small shirt over his body, which formed to his muscles exactly as he stretched his right arm walking to the large door.
Hitting the open on the locked door Bacchus stood in the doorway making what him and Ulysses working on a mystery as it should be. If some of the mutants figured out what they were doing it would be mass chaos and odds are he and Ulysses would be kicked out of the basement.
Looking down at his distraction Bacchus smiled and said, “Oh Jax, looking beautiful this morning,” Bacchus wiped his eyes tiredly still under the impression that it was morning, “What can I do for you love?” said Bacchus in a lazy tone.

When the door opened and Bacchus stood in the door way, Jax grinned. “Well thank you, you look… Rumpled. But in that sexy way...” She grinned. He looked tired and scruffy, like a good morning after in her opinion. “I hope I didn’t wake you up. I was going to see if you wanted to have some fun tonight, but if you are nursing a hangover…”
Jax’s conclusion made sense to her, she knew how he liked to spend his time, especially because he thought it was morning when it was closer to eight pm… He looked like he had been having fun the night before, so he might not be up for more tonight. Jax looked hopeful anyway. “I also wanted to get your advice on something if you have the time.”
Leaning against the side of the door with a flirty smile, not even interested in whatever was going on in his room, she put on her best ‘pretty please’ face.

Letting out a small grin as Jaxon spoke the first question that came to his mind, ‘what the hell is rumpled?’ Regardless what it meant she used it in the form of a compliment, which could only mean it, was a good thing. Deciding her intentions were good enough Bacchus smiled and said, “Didn’t wake me… just ummm….” Bacchus looked over his shoulder and said, “Drinking….” An obvious lie but he was in fact drinking, only not as much as he normally did.
Turning his head back in Jaxon’s direction Bacchus eyebrows quirked a tad, “What are you doing up this early, don’t you need your beauty sle….” Bacchus pulled his phone out of his pocket and then his jaw dropped slightly, “Eight PM???” Bacchus asked double-checking his phone. Looking to Jaxon he smiled and said “hold on a second,” turning his head around Bacchus yelled to Ulysses, “Hey! Lysses it’s eight PM! Not AM! We have been here for eighteen hours!” Bacchus heard the familiar sound of the upset cries of the chimpanzee for he missed the new episode of ‘Into the Stars’.
Looking back at Jaxon now Bacchus smiled and said, “I’ll be up for some fun, what did you have in mind?” Bacchus’s nose picked up on the scent that was Jaxons perfume or shampoo, well what ever it was it was a fragmented aroma that smelled of Gingerbread that made his stomach growl from the lack of food he had been not consuming. Bacchus being the chief that he was enjoyed the taste of the cookies he made every Christmas for his family back home.
“No hang over for me, I’m a giant, we don’t get hangovers the alcohol runs out before we get drunk…” Grinning Bacchus shifted his body weight so he was still in Jaxon’s line of vision, raising his hands he put them on the door frame and then added, “Got all the time for you,” Bacchus said as he noted the look on her face that screamed ‘pretty please’.

Rolling her eyes teasingly at him drinking like it was a hobby, Jaxon laughed when Bacchus realized what time it was. Ulysses response was even funnier. Shaking her head, about to peer in and say hi to the cute little furball, Jax had to look up when Bacch leaned in her way, distracting her. “Well, I was hoping that we could go find someplace to party.. a club or something. I want to have enough fun that I beauty sleep my way into tomorrow afternoon.”
Glad that he didn’t have a hangover, Jax quirked an eyebrow at him flirtatiously. “I went shopping and I want to go someplace I can wear it…” Hearing his stomach, Jaxon smirked deciding to make the deal a little sweeter. “I’ll buy you something to eat….” She grinned, her tone tempting. She wanted to do the exact opposite of what she had apparently been setting herself up for. She wanted to prevent those dreams from ever happening.
Clubbing with Bacchus would definitely accomplish that. Jax called over his shoulder to Ulysses, since she still couldn't see him, hoping the little guy would help her out. "Hey Ulysses, tell the big mug over here to take me out... I'm sure you want him out of your hair for a bit, and I promise to take good care of him!"

Despite how much progress he had been making with the spiders and his goal and through his goals Ulysses as well Bacchus shrugged and said, “Guess a club or a party sounds good…” Having flashbacks about what exactly happened the last time he went to the club with a friend he decided it would be best if he brought his own drink instead of drinking a tainted beverage. Luckily for him Isabel hadn’t destroyed all of his flasks just about twenty percent of them. So it wouldn’t be a problem for him to hide a few flasks on his person if things got out of hand and the music was unbearably loud.
The over use of alcohol was something he was most likely going to have to tell Jaxon like he was going to tell Isabel. It wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy their company it’s just his senses sometimes acted up and as such things came at him louder or brighter than he could handle. The booze was his way of dimming down some of the senses to a more tolerable level.
“Shopping huh?” Bacchus repeated as she spoke, from past experiences when a girl had gone shopping and wanted to show off what she had purchased it either meant she had something skimpy she wanted to show him in private or something fancy that required him to go to somewhere with a more sophisticated environment, which usually weren’t to kind to the giant and his upbringings. “You’re buying?” Bacchus asked his eyebrows rising. Slightly surprised she would be willing to pay for him and his monstrous appetite Bacchus’s expression became more and more interested in the offer.
Hearing a familiar, “Get your ass in gear, she offered to pay!” came from behind him as Bacchus let out a small chuckle and said, “Well there you have it,” shrugging and continuing to speak Bacchus took a step forward and exited the lab forcing Jaxon to step back in the process, “Don’t wait up monkey man!” Bacchus called out to his furred friend. “So where did you have in mind and what was the advice you needed?”

Laughing at his expression, Jaxon repeated it. “Yes… Shopping. I am switching up my style so what I would usually wear is out the window. I don’t kow what would be appropriate to go out in.” Poor guy. But all he had to do was tell her if something she was wearing was too… trashy or anything like that. If the first thing she put on was fine, she wouldn’t torture him any further. “You’ll be fine, just tell me if something looks awful. If it is good, we’re gone.”
With a smile, knowing she had hooked him, Jax burst out laughing at Ulysses response. Shouting back she grinned, “Thank cutie!” and in a softer voice she spoke to Bacchus with an agreeing tilt of her head. “Yup, I’ll buy dinner.” When he stepped towards her, Jax was tempted to not step back, but eventually balance meant she had to… that or fall on her tush.
Slinging an arm around his back, Jaxon tugged him towards the elevator and towards her room. “Well, let’s see… I know the best little diner and they aren’t far from the party scene. They have everything, steaks, burgers, kabobs, philly-sandwiches… you name it and they probably have it.”
She shrugged, “I just need advice on my clothes. You will tell me if something makes me look like a hooker, right?” Jax looked up at him impishly, and right then he should have known that she was going to cause trouble in one way or another.

Feeling her arm hook around his back Bacchus didn’t resist her as she walked forward in fact, why would he resist being dragged to a pretty girls room, defiantly wasn’t Bacchus’s style. Diner sounded good, Diner didn’t sound fancy, which meant Bacchus was free to wear what he was wearing now. A t-shirt and the pants he was wearing, no tuxedo or suit would be needed for his outing with Jaxon, which made it all the more enjoyable. “Hope you don’t expect the bill to be cheap…” said Bacchus in a teasing tone as he made his stomach grow out slightly then retracted once she caught the sight.
Now in the elevator he felt it lurch down then it began its ascension to her room. “To think all it took was me killing a bad date to get into your room,” he grinned and then continued, “you're an easy girl to please…” he said in a joking tone as the elevator opened on their floor, “Lead the way…” Bacchus said as he motioned his hand forward waiting her to either drag him along or walk at his own leisure to her room.
On the walk to her room Bacchus said, “Yeah, odds are I’ll let you know if you're a hooker, but unless your wearing fishnets it would be difficult to match the hookers back home…” letting out a sly grin he asked her, “So you want me to wait outside your room while you change or did you have something else in mind?”

Not quite sure what to make of his belly trick, Jax could only watch. Shaking her head slightly, she chuckled patting his stomach. “That’s okay, I think I can handle the damage with plastic.”
Once in the elevator, Jaxon couldn’t help but play along with him. “Yep, it doesn’t take much to get in my good graces. But saving me definitely gets you points.” Once the elevator opened, Jaxon led him to her room pushing open the door. “You can come in. I have a closet, I can change in there. Take a seat anywhere.”
She motioned in the direction of the mini-couch and her bed and grabbed on of the bags off the floor and went into her closet. After a few minutes she came back out in one of her new dresses. The body of the dress was similar to a red drapey shirt, and it had gold band around the arms and the bottom hem which hugged closer than the rest of the dress. She had a pair of bronze strappy heeled sandals in one hand and looked pointedly at Bacchus.

Of course Bacchus wouldn’t force Jaxon to pay for everything if he decided he was truly going to eat his fill, he himself had money but as always was reluctant to spend it unless he was going to get paid back a penny more than he spent. Flasks were the only things other than alcohol that seemed to be a necessity to Bacchus when it came to purchasing anything. After all those two things helped to keep his sanity in a oh so loud and oh so bright world.
As he entered her room he quickly found his sitting location but as he looked around he took in every sight as he made a b-line for the corner of the bed where he deemed the best location. The walls bare white were much cleaner than his own which was littered with gashes welts and indents thanks to many of the critters that he used to keep in his room. Most of which came from his two crocs during feeding time when Ulysses was to close to them, another reason he was happy that the two crocs were in proper dwelling opposed to his room.
The floor was clean as carpet could be even with his enhanced sight Bacchus could find little to no debris scattered on the ground. Looking over Bacchus could see the entrance to the bathroom which the sent of gingerbread was emanating from, most likely where the contents were or where it had been used recently. The air in her room was clean most likely to the windows she had, Bacchus only had two windows in his room and they happened to be small ones at that.
Either Bacchus got the short end of the room stick when Lisa and Isabel picked out a room for him or Jaxon hit the Sanctuary room lottery. Regardless what it was Bacchus was jealous of the room. Books littered shelves that were built onto the wall and Bacchus’s could only smile, “Room is a hell lot nicer than mine…” he said as he sat on the corner of her bed closet to the large closet that Jaxon disappeared into.
As she walked out Bacchus’s jaw dropped slightly at Jaxon’s new appearance. He started at her bare feet and slowly made his way up her legs still hanging his jaw. Once he got to the red of his dress he looked to her shoes and then to her face, “Damn Sheila, I think it looks good…” he paused then closed his mouth and said, “Question is what do you think?” a satisfied grin slowly appearing on his face.

Chuckling at his assessment of her room, Jaxon was pleased to see the expression on his face when he saw her. Apparently she had made a good choice in his eyes. “Sorry. I guess you will have to hang out here more…” She really couldn’t blame anyone for giving him his room; all his beasties would have escaped or trashed her room within a few hours.
Sitting down next to him as she strapped the shoes around her feet with a smile, she glanced up at him. “Thank you… Honestly, I am very desensitized. I can’t quite tell anymore, which is why I needed your help. But I think I like it.” After spending three hours trying on similar items, and being surrounded by much more revealing ones, she couldn’t tell the difference. Her sense would be back tomorrow and she would look at most of this stuff with horror, and if she didn’t wear any of it before then she would chicken out and return it all. And no girl was immune to appreciative looks, which helped.
Moving to a box on her bookcase she pulled out a chunky gold bracelet, slipping it on. Then she turned to him, her heels boosting her height nicely, she smiled brightly and stood in front of him. “Hold on, let me…” With out much warning she reached for his head, fixing some of the hair that was sticking in opposite directions and fluffing a flat part. “There. If you are ready, let’s go.”

Nodding to Jaxon he said, “If that isn’t a problem with you Sheila, think I might come by more often…” wondering how the carpet would have felt on his bare Bacchus shifted his feet slightly as he looked up to Jaxon then to the sky light, “Sky light huh?” he asked with a small grin, “your one of those girls…” his attention was drawn back to Jaxon as she started to strap the shoes up on her, in Bacchus’s opinion awesome outfit. Making an attempt not to stare Bacchus looked up through the skylight and waited till Jaxon was ready to go.
Nodding and understanding the need to express yourself Bacchus smiled and said, “Sometimes its easier when you don't have to worry about clothing.” Letting out a big smirk he was hoping she would take the joke, if not it was understandable. Other than alcohol clothing was another problem Bacchus had, because of his senses he had to drink and because he drank his concentration was always a bit lax and when he grew those clothes had a tendency to rip. Thus the reporters dubbed him the “Naked Giant”.
Clothes didn’t really appeal to much to Bacchus any more, the idea of being judge solely on what a person wore didn’t make much sense to him but that still didn’t stop him from helping out cute Sheila’s pick out clothing that made them cuter.
Slightly surprised when Jaxon tussled then flattened his hair he looked at her with a smile and stood no longer letting Jaxon standing a few inches higher than him when he was sitting. Not trying to laugh a small chuckle escaped as he stood up still towering over Jaxon even in her heels, but then again there were a few people he didn’t tower over not a lot of people could compete with someone who was seven feet tall.
As he stood he didn’t step bak but only looked down and smiled, “Ready when you are, you driving or do I have to raid the garage?” inches apart was where he stood for the time being then with a grin he said, “Think that rocky bloke left his bike in the garage…” as he made his way to her door he asked, “You like to go fast Jaxon?”
Profile Link Here Normal/Giant Form PS:8/25 AG:6/5 Men:5/5 Stl: 0 Sen: 15/8 MS:12/7 MC:14/10 color=E6E6FA
“I think as long as you use the door, instead of peeking through the skylight, you can come by anytime.” Jaxon laughed. In all reality, she didn’t get visitors to her room that would make the skylight awkward, and it was at an angle that didn’t let anyone casually look inside, so all she really did was sleep under it.
Knowing his penchant for nudity she wasn’t surprised that he had let go of any clothing issues he had. When he stood up she sighed with a false frown. “Darn, being taller than you was kind of fun…” Jaxon was rarely taller than anyone, even in her heels, so she enjoyed any chance she had to feel tall. With a grin when he didn’t step back, Jax wished she had the ability to push him so that he would be forced to sit again, but didn’t try it, knowing how immovable he could be.
“I would love to break a few speed limits with you. I’d say we could use my bike, but it is too small for you. On with stealing Rocky's!” She didn't know who Rocky was, but her little Ducati was weighted for her so that she could ride it without a partner, and it would be far too small for the large man in front of her. But if there was a bike that would support the both of them, Jaxon was all for it.
Grabbing the small metallic purse, Jax stepped back letting him out of her room and shutting the door. Then with a grin, she practically scampered towards the elevator in excitement. “This is going to be fun.” Stealing some guy’s bike and going clubbing with a new mutant friend. Add it up and it all meant she was going to have fun tonight.
