The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Stepping out into the garage Bacchus took a deep breath through his nose and inhaled the fumes of motor oil and gasoline. Knowing nothing of cars and bikes other than what was need to change the tire and an occasional spark plug Bacchus looked for the nicest bike in the bunch and grinned. Going purely on looks Bacchus pointed to the largest bike and said, “Be ridding that one, out of all the bikes it’s the biggest and will hold my average weight no problem.”
Walking over to the bike Bacchus grinned and hopped on after finding a spare key under the seat. “That was easy…” said Bacchus as he started the bike up and looked back to Jaxon and handed her the lone helmet that matched the bike, “Recommend you wearing this…” Bacchus said a he pulled the clutch and put the old Harley in first gear waiting or Jaxon to hop on.
On occasion he had been known to break a bike or two while driving due to his weight but being focused on not crashing for fear that Jaxon might be injured was all the motivation he needed not to crash. Worst-case scenario he would just jump from the bike while Jaxon was holding on to him. But there was no need to make Jaxon worry about things like the bike being weighted down to the point it falls apart, things he considered trivial.
On the way to the club of his choosing the ride was relatively smooth other than a pothole he hit which almost made the tires pop under their combined weight. As he approached one of the clubs he bounces for he puffed out his chest slightly and was able to hold the look thanks to his mutation. No clothes ripping today!
“So hope you don’t mind stopping at this one for a bit, I work here so we can get in fast, free and drinks and what food they have is on the house!” Grinning he got off the bike which lifted from the ground a noticeable amount. Extending his hand to help Jaxon, his relatively short date for the evening.

Jax agreed with Bacchus, of the bikes present it was the only one that had a chance of holding him and her, and she took the helmet with a smile. Sweeping her hair back over her shoulders and out of the way of the strap, Jaxon plunked the helmet on, wiggling it a little before latching the strap. “Sounds good.”
Tucking her skirt between her legs and holding it with one hand, Jax carefully climbed on the large bike, making sure to keep her leg away from the exhaust pipe. Settling herself a bit, she patted his side before wrapping her arms around his waist.
Swaying with the bike and the man driving as they wound through the city, she was surprised at the club he pulled up to. When he helped her off the bike she grinned, un-strapping the helmet and hooking it over the handles. Glancing at the place, and the people she grinned. “Just what I was hoping for…”
It looked like the kind of fun she had been hoping for, and with a spunky smile, she scampered a bit ahead of him to the door.

Happy as a clam came to mind as Bacchus followed Jaxon to the door, granted he didn’t know why the term was happy as a clam but if a clam had a face to show emotions he was sure that the clams face would look something like Jaxon’s. “Hey Jimmy!” Bacchus said as he walked up to the front of the line trying to catch up to Jaxon. Jimmy the large dark skinned bouncer grinned and called out, “My man, fine looking piece you got with you tonight, she your girl? Cause if not think I might need to jump on that…” Letting out a loud laugh Bacchus nodded and said, “Think she is out of your league, sides, she is with me tonight sorry mate!” Bacchus patted Jimmy on the back as Jimmy opened the velvet rope to let Bacchus and Jaxon enter the club.
The smell of perfume, sweat, cheap body spray and booze filled the air as Bacchus first entered the club. As usual his nose knows and the lighting was dim typical for a dance club, the occasional strobe light shot around make it’s revolutions. The sound was as loud as ever which made his head start to throb. Sighing Bacchus pulled out a flask of his and took a swig and tried to focus on the taste opposed to the music, which was causing his head to throb. Halfway through the flask Bacchus put the flask back on his person as he tapped Jaxon on the shoulder and pointed to the dance floor.
The crowd as usual broke up as he walked his way through the dance floor to the dead center. It was after all not only the best place to dance but the best place for a skirmish, which in his opinion made every night complete. As the next song cam on Bacchus looked to Jaxon and started to laugh, “No f-way” cures Bacchus as one of the few things he recalled the night he drank the tainted beer was the music.
He started to laugh as a familiar song started to play. Reluctantly dancing to the music Bacchus looked down and said, “I am not drinking any stranger’s beer!” there was no way he was going to send this night into a downward spiral like he did on the night with Isabel and the tainted beer.
Laughing when Bacchus saved her from having to flirt her way in, something that wouldn’t have been hard judging by the man’s words, she winked at him, responding to Bacchus with a roll of her eyes and called back with a smile. “I’m no one’s girl!” She couldn’t help the excitement on her face when then walked in.
Whoever said that clothes made the man was right. For some reason, Jax had never felt as daring in her usual outfits as she did tonight. As if freeing her skin was akin to freeing herself… The smell of the place wasn’t off-putting, as odd as that was, rather, Jax felt that the smell would be burned in her memory as a night of fun and freedom. She sort of liked it.
The lights and the music made it nearly impossible to speak or communicate, but only a few steps in the place and Jax was swaying to the music. The tap on her shoulder made her nod, speaking useless at this point, and she followed in his wake. Though she didn’t hear him, she saw him mouth the words and wondered why he didn’t like this song.
Laughing, she leaned up and tried to speak loudly enough that he would hear her. “I would never make you drink anything!” She grinned, then began slowly swaying, following the music. When it picked up she smiled wider. That was more like it. Tossing her head Jaxon started to move in a way she never had before. She could feel the music in her chest and she wanted to move fast, so she did.

The reaction on Jaxon’s face was laughable as is when the music started to play but when the music started to play faster and louder Bacchus couldn’t tell if she was dancing or she developed epilepsy on the ride to the club because the way she was dancing Bacchus could only describe as seiztastic. Slowing his dance to just leg movement and hip movement Bacchus just stared at Jaxon as she continued to dance, his eyes staying focused on her movements Bacchus wanted to be sure he didn’t have to slam her to the ground and hold her tongue so she wouldn’t bite or swallow it.
As the dancing continued she seemed to have control of her body so Bacchus’s worry started to dissipate as the music played on. Shifting his eyes slightly Bacchus spotted a girl dancing right next to Jaxon and without another thought Bacchus grinned and pondered if he should call out ‘Dance Off’ just to see there reactions but he refrained for the time being maybe with luck Jaxon would call it out on her own.
Bacchus continued to dance however he was always careful not to step on anyone’s feet less he would crush it without much effort seeing as it had become second nature to him like breathing or blinking. Another thing that became second nature for Bacchus was the requirement of alcohol, which was a necessity for his senses. Bacchus looked down to Jaxon after a few songs and then pointed to the bar as his head seemed to take a beating from all the music, which could clearly be visible on his face.

Jaxon didn’t really notice what Bacchus thought of her dancing, she was having fun. Loads of fun. She was going to have to come here more often, she liked this place. When Bacchus got her attention and motioned to the bar, Jax was surprised but shrugged, giving him a go-ahead thumbs up. He looked like he had a headache, already, and she wasn’t sure what good alcohol would do for that but she wasn’t quite ready to leave the dance floor, so she let him go without questioning.
After watching him a moment, Jax quickly got back into the music, just as it changed to an AC/DC song. With a laugh, she started dancing with several of her neighbors on the dance floor, including the girl Bacchus had been checking out though she wasn’t aware of that.
They ended up dancing together, though not in a sexual way. Holding one of each other’s hands they were moving in slow spins, twirls, and spirals together, laughing as they did so. Jax had apparently found a new gal-pal, if only for the dance.

Reluctant to leave Jaxon on the dance floor on her own he quickly made his way to the bar, the headache seemed to be getting worse and worse as the music progressed but sure enough as he got to the bar the music changed into something way more familiar but a tad random for a dance club but he didn’t care because AC/DC rocked and it was clearly visible in the crowd as everyone continued to dance despite the change in music. Wondering slightly when the DJ took special requests Bacchus handed his now empty flask to the bartender who filled it up and handed him a small pitcher filled with some whiskey.
“Thanks!” Bacchus said as he down the glass letting the rush fill his body and blood rush to his head. The sound of the music plus the alcohol now in his system Bacchus felt that the sound had dimmed down not to mention the strobe lights that were giving him such a headache before now seemed duller and less as bright. Taking his flask and putting it at his hip Bacchus was looking better and was ready to party.
Rocking his head to the music the alcohol now full effective Bacchus smiled, as he got closer to the pair of women dancing. He decided to dance near Jaxon and the other women who smelled like something like cranberries from where he was standing. Jaxon looked like she was having fun so he decided not to cut in until she was done dancing with the girl at least, he figured they would keep dancing till Jaxon couldn’t dance any more and t that point they could get to know each other a bit better.

Swaying, laughing, and bobbing to the music with the other girl, Jaxon hummed along. After a moment the song came to an end and a song she didn’t recognize came on. Releasing the other girl’s hand with a grin in the flashing lights, Jax turned, looking around. Spotting Bacchus, she waved over her shoulder and kept dancing, though aiming herself towards him so that as the crowd moved she wouldn’t get pushed further away.
Soon she was within a few feet of him and tossed her head, not even trying to shout over the music. Her expression clearly was asking him what was up.
