The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Ruby bounded eagerly off of Jamal's head in pup form, morphing into her human form as she went over to the work table. She pulled out a box of parts and grabbed a boat propeller, the top of a Senital's head and a claw from an old crane game. That was when she began to work.
Jamal looked out how fast Ruby was working, pulling out various wires and the stop when she unscrewed the top of head. "Whats wrong?" He asked,
"Wires tangled."
"I got them." He smiled at her, starting to untagle the wires with his powers. Soon they where all neatly in place.

Ruby grinned.
"I'm going to get to work hooking this up, you wanna start on the battery?" she asked.
"Sure..." Jamal said looking around. the wall was lined with metal sheets, tools and other parts. Everything was neatly arranged. He grabbed a battery and polarized it, hooking all the ends of the wires up to it. Ruby was finished with hers long before him.
She grabbed a blow torch and a helmet. "My favorite part...welding." she grinned.
Ruby wielded a small door to the Bottom of the robot. She had ripped a perfectly square hole in earlier and now all she had to do was wield the door. Ruby grinned as she looked at her handy work on the door before lifting up the mask.
"You need me to do anything else?" Jamal asked
"Yep connect the propeller to the wires on the top of the central unit and attach wire A and Wire B" Ruby looked at Jamal as he stared at her for a while. "Shove the propeller into the top of the body and attach the blue and green wires."

They laughed as Jamal followed orders and did a perfect job.
"Okay, now we just insert the battery into the base." she said and the battery and wires disappeared into it. "this computer chip right here exchanges signals with this chip." she held them up.
Jamal stared at her dreamily.
"So when we put this chip right here near what I like to call the 'brain' of the bot." she said putting the chip inside a small place near the battery. " we have to put the corresponding chip into a remote..." she held up a watch from her pocket and put the chip in the back of it. " And the robot..." she noticed Jamal was lookeing at her and turned a deep red. "What?"
"You're so cute when you're all smart and what not." he teased kissing her nose.
She wiggled it and shook her head smiling. Ruby pressed the button on her watch and the propeller spun lifting the 'body' into the air. "Like clockwork." she grinned. "That's just a test run. It still has no claw."
"A claw is going to require a separate battery and operation sequence..." jamal said much to ruby's surprise.
"that's right!" she grinned kissing him. "You know more than you admit."
Jamal grinned and picked up an old garden tool used for airating the dirt. "Most of this is mechanical. I'm not good with the computer stuff but I know that if we can hook it up so that something inside the robot pulls this levar." he said pulling the handle at the end of the tool. It opened and closesd. "Then all we have to do is program a new sequence that'll get it to pull when ever we want. It's a bit different from the propeller."
Ruby beamed proudly. "This is going to be a fun project."
After much work and dedication from the two the Robot was finally done. Ruby beamed proudly at it whiping the sweat from her brow. "We shall name it the Jubal Robot." Ruby concluded watching it as it flew around in circles with a hammer in the crane.
"Jubal?" Jamal asked
"Its a mixture between you name and mine!" Ruby exclaimed with a grin

"Juby, or Rubal...yeah I guess Jubal is the best one." he laughed.
Jubal came and dropped the hammer in Jamal's hand. "ooooooh. The others we make should all sing that seven dwarves song. Whistle while we work." he laughed and ruby chimed in.
"Ooh that would be cool!" Ruby exclaimed with glee. She wagged her tail back and forth like an eager puppy. She looked outside and realized she and Jamal had worked through the night, she looked at her watch and it was almost 10.
"So where are you sleeping tonight since Emmy is sick?" Jamal asked

Ruby grinned. "YAY! I don't like being in this big place by myself."
"You know.." Jamal said as they cleaned the garage up a bit and made their way to the mansion's main entrance. "If you replace the claw with a water spout, you've a got good gardening tools. Automatic watering robots..or ones that spray insecticide...I mean you could even have little kitchen assistants. You could open your own business."
ruby slipped her hand into his as they walked, her ears perking up. "Well, don't be over confident."
"No! I really think they'd catch on."
"I can't run a business, I'm 13. It takes too much work and I wouldn't know where to start."
"We can just build prototypes for the mansion at first." Jamal explained. "See how they work, see if anything malfunctions. In a few years when its a sure thing then you think about it. I'm sure Emmy would think its a good idea. And Daria would help you. She's running a restaurant now."
Ruby nodded and listened. When he was done she was still thinking but said, finally:
"Okay!" Ruby exclaimed with glee, tail waggin back and forth. "It sounds like a great idea. Its just it will take alot of time but Im sure we will be able to do it."
