The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Hey guys! I've been absent for a couple months, but I'm looking to get back into the swing of things. Let me know if you're interested in a thread with either Margo or Kai.
Howdy, I'd be down. Take a look at Tempest's bio. Tempest had been leading efforts to better Sanctuary so that'd be the easiest way to run into him. He also works part time at various temp jobs so that could work to. Maybe he's working at the dentist office you stop in at, is at the mall/store, etc. He's also taking classes at NYU as well.
Kai has been to Sanctuary in the past, so he could definitely go back and run into Tempest there. Or they could run in at the mall, or some other place, or perhaps in a circumstance with glitchy anti-mutant META bots. What do you think?
Whichever you prefer! Am I right that if they talk too long that Devon will get off balance/vertigo?
Considering Devon is also bipolar (manic depressive) they could have lots to talk about. Is Kai seeing a psychologist? Perhaps he and Devon see the same one? Or Kai could come by Sanctuary looking for some assistance and be referred to talk to Devon. Devon won't be able to prescribe meds or anything, but he's working on his degree and can "counsel" for now. He's running groups like "mutants not so anonymous" and the like at Sanctuary.
Otherwise, we should have the two run into each other at random and then learn both are bipolar. Could be very good for them and future stories to have that bond there.
I'm certainly concerned they can't talk for long without Devon passing out so we may need to be creative. We could even say they meet online through some forum and chat via email, text, etc.
If we do the online-meet thing, we should have it be brief or skip it ahead, so we can move to a bigger thread idea.
To be honest, Kai is much too full of himself to go see a psychologist or actively seek assistance in any other way. He would be interested in meeting Devon, though, if he found out he was bipolar too. We could definitely have them meet online and chat via email, text, etc. before meeting in person. As for our bigger thread idea: yes, if Kai talks too long Devon will get off balance, but don't worry too much about it. Kai has plenty of experience with it, and Devon probably won't even know unless he wants him to.
If you want to go ahead and start the thread, that'd be great. Otherwise, pm me about it.
