The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Life. Just. Sucked. She stormed in, slamming the door and changing out of her work uniform into a tank top and jeans. Then, she promptly opened her window, and tossed all of the uniforms out onto the alley below. Fired?!? She got fired?!? Of all the stupid, rotten--
Okay, in all fairness, she did end up dumping a cup of scalding hot coffee onto somebody. But the guy had been a jerk and kept changing his mind and hitting on her and and and...
Whatever. It didn't even matter anymore. That was done. Which meant soon, she'd have to find a new place to live. Hell. She'd worry about that later. For now, she pulled out her purple electric guitar, turned the amp up as loud as it would go, and started blaring angry, vent-music as loud as she could, rattling the walls and shaking the windows with the pure power of her skills.
She didn't care anymore. Nothing mattered right now. She was just expelling every bit of energy and anger that she could.
It had been a long week, and Tses was pretty much exhausted. After running into Alli, getting recruited to help with the so called 'Amazon' thing, ditching them, getting in a fight with one or two people, basically causing massive meyhem and earning some bruises or two in return... well, she was done with the whole 'fighting' thing for awhile. At least, that was her idea. She was lounging on her cough when the whole building seemed to shake with the most obnoxious music ever. The song wasn't so bad, but the volume? That was going to be an issue. Trying to close her eyes and ignore it, Tses looked for some inner zen to just wait for the individual to turn the amp down. It seemed to work for a moment, until she noticed the distressed meowing from the other side of the wall, barely audible over the racket.
Sitting up, the blond wandered to the door and pushed it open. Maggie was already standing at the doorframe with the most hopeful expression on her face. In her arms, David and two of the kittens cried in distress. Tses didn't say a word, she just made a beeline for the stairs. You could annoy her all you wanted, but mess with the cat lady...
This annoying neighbor was going down.
It didn't take long to pinpoint the troublemaker. It was one of the blonds she'd run into by accident when she had amnesia and couldn't find her room. Punk kid was the room directly below her, and Tses didn't even bother knocking. A sharp kick to the door knocked it open, and then she strode over to the amp and ripped the chord from the wall, glaring down the girl with the guitar in her hands. In the most sweet voice she could manage, she addressed her neighbor.
"Neighborhood vote is in, time for you to shut the hell up. Or you and I are going to have a problem." She crossed her arms determinedly and waited for a response.

Paige had her eyes closed, and thus didn't hear the door be kicked open, nor see the girl walk in and unplug her amp. But when her music went dead, Paige's eyes darted open."You did not just..." She hissed. "I had to listen to you and your boyfriend arguing...I had to listen to you blowing **** up. You wandering around here like some idiot, and I'm the one being annoying? Look you...I am not in the mood for this **** today..." Muttering, Paige stood up, putting the electric guitar back in its case before walking over to the wall near her door, where her acoustic guitar stood on a stand.
"Fine..." Kneeling down, she reached to pick up her acoustic guitar. If she couldn't blast it, she'd do it on acoustic...who cared?
Tses planned on turning around and leaving. She could have let the girl's behavior slide, her snarky attitude, even her insults. But she hit a nerve when she mentioned her boyfriend and her arguing. She didn't need that reminder anymore than the needed the actual memories. It cut a spot inside her and then put salt into it. Tses exhaled slowly through her nose, and felt the green energy travel up her arms and down to her palm. It only took a small explosive but she let it blow up just on the edge of the wall outlet, breaking the plastic with a little pop. One problem down.
"I hear you again, it's not the wall you'll have to worry about." She warned, moving to leave.

Paige glared, picking up the guitar and cracking her neck. She held her pick between her right fingers as she strapped on the guitar and took her stance. Without a word, she began to shred, improvising but using every technique she knew, making that guitar do things an acoustic simply wasn't meant to do. In any other situation, it would have been phenomenal. But in the current one, it was a challenge. A dare even. From one explosive blonde to another...
Tses felt her eyebrows narrow, her mouth curl into a frown and her body seemed to move on it's own accord. She was still heading for the door, but this time, her direction was changed ever so slightly. The music was annoying. She could almost hear the kittens upstairs in distress, and this little terror was disrupting the apartment building. Her apartment building. Manhattan could burn down for all she cared, but Tses was territorial and this girl was about to learn that.
Pushing all the energy she could into one orb, she grabbed the neck of the guitar, shoved the glowing sphere into the hallow middle like she was feeding a coin into a coin slot. Then she slammed it back against the younger girl and snarled. "Bad choice."
She stepped back just fast enough to avoid the shrapnel of wood splinters and the whiplash of guitar strings.

Paige jerked away when Tses grabbed the guitar. But the sudden explosion blew her back, knocking her flat on her backside. Little splinters stuck into her body, some were in her hair, and a larger piece of debris barely missed her head. Some of the strings had recoiled, leaving a gash on the girl's side, her left arm, and her face.
It wasn't this pain that set her off, nor was it the feeling of warm blood trickling down her skin and onto her clothes. She scraped herself off of the ground, grabbing the nearby shard of guitar and gripping it tightly as if it was a knife.
"That...was...my...first guitar..." The spork shifter lunged at the other blonde, aiming to jam the piece into the other woman's stomach. There were three things that you just didn't mess with. Paige's family, Paige's girlfriend, and Paige's guitar.
The shifter was running on pure adrenaline, and she had it set in her mind this chick was going to pay...
The results of the explosion were impressive. Shards of guitar went everywhere, and the strings and shrapnel did a better job of beating the girl up than she probably could have in that short manner of time. The girl went down, the offending object was nothing but little glitters of wood in the room and Tses was smugly prepared to leave.
She wasn't expecting the kid to come flying at her, piece of guitar like a knife in her hand.
Taking the blow in the stomach could have ended badly. She needed most of the organs there and would probably need a more serious brand of medical help than her bathroom cabinet if it hit. So she did the fastest thing she could think of and deflected the blow the best she could. Pain spiked from her leg, but she was hoping to off balance the girl and sent her fist for the girl's face. "Well you should have listened... when I warned you to shut up!" Tses snarled back, and kicked out towards the girl's legs.

"Acoustics aren't even loud!" she spat, taking the blow to the face, then finding herself flat on her back. Mustering her strength, she hopped to her feet, dropping into a fighting stance after grabbing two more large splinters, one in each hand.
"I needed a way to relieve the stress of a ****ty day....you're going to wish you'd have let me play guitar..." The blonde feigned a slash with one her left hand, before stepping forward and aiming a sharp kick at the girl's chest, then following up with a right punch.
"It wasn't the acoustic that started it!" Tses snapped, watching the younger female fall then jump to her feet with two more shards of wood like weapons. Tses scooted backwards a bit when the blow moved for her face, and barely got her arm up in time to absorb the blow that would have hit her chest. She made a grab for the girl's leg, intending to knock her backwards again. She wasn't in a mood for this game, especially with blood starting to run down her leg.
The right punch hit her in the jaw, hard enough she tasted a little blood from her cheek, but nothing super serious. She sent a return punch of her own. "This apartment building isn't a sound studio, you want to play your guitar to blow off stress take it outside!" She felt the green energy return to her arms, and threw an explosive in the general direction of the girl's amp. She wanted to pick a fight... well, there was more than one thing she could damage.

Paige stepped back from the grab, but the return punch left her tasting even more blood. When she saw the green energy, Paige noticed Tses's line of vision. Oh HELL no...
The shifter pounced again, aiming to throw off the explosive's trajectory. Which it did. It ended up blowing up a pillow, sending feathers flying everywhere. On the ground, Paige scrambled in an attempt to get on top of the other girl before she could get up. From there, Paige could strike, limiting the other girl's maneuverability in the process.
Though the girl had to admit, this was the toughest fight she's ever had.
Tses hated fighting in confined spaces. It made it harder to evade things like tackling, and she hit the ground hard, a few pieces of guitar digging into her skin and sending tingles of pain through her. The kid was trying to get on top of her, and that certainly wasn't going to happen.
So Tses grabbed a handful of hair and dragged the girl's head towards the side, rolling over and trying to pin her into the ground. Hair pulling was playing dirty, sure. Tses never said she was a fair fighter. "Unless you want me to take out the rest of your electronics, I'd suggest putting a surrender in order." She hissed, putting her strength into keeping the girl from getting back up.

Paige didn't see the hair-pulling coming, and it allowed Tses to get the advantage and pin her down. In the process, Paige dropped her weapons. But it didn't matter. Adrenaline was still pumping, though she was starting to feel the effects of the fight.
Surrender? Ha...
Paige didn't say a word, but there was one dirty tactic she was not above. At least...not anymore. She spit, mixed with blood, right into Tses's face before lifting her knee to jab into Tses's injured one. If this worked, Paige would toss the other girl off of her. If it didn't, well...headbutts worked just as well.
She spat....at Tses, and the older girl snarled in disgust jerking backwards then flinching in pain as the jab hit her in the injured leg. The gave a powerful tug on the girl's hair then let go and formed another explosive, throwing it across the room. It was war now, Tses didn't care what got destroyed. She couldn't make very large explosives right now, but she could still cause damage if one got too close to something. She kept her eyes closed for a moment though, struggling to clean her face before she risked getting any blood into her eyes or mouth.
Hopefully, throwing the explosives would distract the girl enough to let her finish. She was done explaining, she was just going to put the kid in her place. She wasn't going to explain why the kid deserved it. She just knew she did.

Paige had climbed to her feet, ready to attack again, when she saw the explosive hit one of her two amps. It was smaller, and had seen more wear than the bigger one she'd had the guitar hooked up to earlier. Seeing it explode was too much for her, and she felt tears pouring out of her eyes and mixing with the blood.
"That. Is. ****ing...IT..." The fighting stance was gone. The technicality was gone. Blood soaked Paige's clothes, and matted her hair together. She pounced again, swinging with everything she had in her. As soon as she finished one swing, she started another.
Seven swings later, she pulled herself away and sat on her bed, tears pouring even more down her face. "Get the **** out...I lost my job, I'm gunna lose this apartment...then a bitch like you comes in and destroys the very first guitar and amp that was ever given to me...I hope you're ****ing happy..." She lay back on the bed, head throbbing, getting blood everywhere. Everything hurt, inside and out...
