The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

“Of coursse, hopefully I ssee you in the field.” A broad smile lit his face, that was a high bit of praise in his book. He would wear that as a badge of honor the rest of the day. He made the Xmen look good.
He grinned. “like I said I appreciate the ride, I’ll manage the rest on my own, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.” Koga shook the man’s hand with the same amount of grip, take care!” He watched the care drive away for a moment and turned to the store. He hoped Mr. Graves had a good time of patching things up with the mystery police woman. disliking superheroes…Honestly!
The thought was quickly torn away from his mind as he went in search of the perfect stuffed animal.he scoured the store for the better part of a hour. He finally settled on a multicolored dragon, it had some of his features, some of hers, its horns and wings reminded him of hers, it had black eyes and colorful scales. He didn’t think it would be the result if they had a child. Had a child! What was he thinking… one date at a time man, get a grip!
He savored her hand on his face and her lips against his.“The sunrise can’t come soon enough. “ He nodded not quite sure about the connotations of what they were agreeing to but confident that he couldn’t see a down side to whatever arrangement they were making. ‘I will.”
“With the suns first ray my sweet guardian angel.” He was sure of it, there wasn’t a more angelic being on the planet.”
He would have to be the one to pull the bandaid off. “The sooner you are home the sooner I can meet you at the gates. Get home before dark my love.”Koga swept in for one more brief but passionate kiss. If they didn’t separate soon, he didn’t think they would and the argument would have lessoned his resolve if he didn’t want her home safe and sound.
He kissed her hand and took a step back. “in the morning. I’ll be there, you have my word.”
He had finals, Training, Violin practice, work, exercise, Shower, sleep. He sat in the library studying. She skipped across the room, carefree joy upon her face. Her skin was grey and she was curvy in the best sort of way. He was supposed to do something. What was he thinking?
A chuckle escaped his lips at the blonde’s Pun, she had the makings of a hero that Adam east could love. Koga groaned in pain but managed to finish with his first victim, before the man fully collapsed to the ground, allowing him the freedom of slapping his own hands over his ears…he was pretty sure they were bleeding… that one should take some lessons.
The first and for most being to shut the hell up. Koga ran and kicked the big guy using him as a launching pad to propel him toward his new arch rival…Karaoke! Is what he would call him in a comic book. His other foot landed right on the singers face. The concussive force spat from his mouth when he groaned in agony shot Koga across the side walk and into the building. To say the least it was not what he was expecting. He crumpled as he hit the wall and landed with a resounding thud.
Karaoke’s lip however was getting nice and fat and his nose was streaming red, to top it all off he had bit his tongue. He wasn’t backing down however, instead he was Strolling over to Koga with a cruel look on his face.
He stopped singing though so for the moment there was that.
The Large and getting larger man had eyes only for the blonde…must have had a king Kong complex.
“Not at all, Asss far as I can tell, In the field it isss much more about getting whatever needss to be done, done. Opposed to hazing like hijinx or the like. I guesss it could be asss weird asss you want to make it though.” Koga grinned over at the man.
Koga tilted his head while listening to nate’s defense of the reasoning behind her displeasure with heros. “that actually sounds reasonable, the part about not knowing what or who you are going to get could easily make the situation go from in control to out of control in a heart beat. Though it makess me wonder if ssomeone responssible would get the ssame treatment asss a well meaning trouble maker.’ He looked to nate, he was both at times. He had certainly made a mountain out of a molehill before.
“I could agree to dissagree with ssomeone who thought like that, in the end of the though, I couldn’t ssit on my handss and wait for the law to arrive, if I knew I could sstop a potentially dangerouss ssituation right then.”
Koga glanced up and looked at the toy store, it looked like a good shop, like a place that he could find something one of a kind. “Thankss for driving me out here Nate, I appreciate the help.”
Streak, I would love forKoga to be able to call someone in for reinforcements once things start to go down at the shop. Mind me hand waving their Meeting I am sure Silver and Koga must have at least had a conversation sometime over the years.
Koga nodded. To the fact that the officer in question was a bonehead, it was part of the reason he picked him as a contact, he wasn’t all that smart, he needed the help and would have more reason to let Koga help him, and eventually would help him in turn when he needed something.
“I know a place you can go, Itss where I live and I can’t think of a ssafer place in the world.” Sure it was dangerous too, but whoever was looking for this guy would have hell attacking the Mansion.
Koga’s hand went to the back of his head; he was slightly embarrassed for the man. “ Look I am ssure you can handle yoursself, what you are doing iss brave, but I doubt they only want to hurt you. Do you know how you get a witnesss to sshow to a hearing? You kill them, and the guy you are looking at putting away has connectionss that go all the way down to the baddesst of the bad.”
He stepped in to the man’s shop and turned around to peer about the street, None of the thugs were too close. His eyes rolling right over the shadow in the alleyway, never suspecting a mutant hiding there, he knew about the gang members because he had seen them scoping the place out for the last week, maybe they were getting Intel or just the go ahead from a boos. He wasn’t sure, but tonight was different.
“My name iss Ryuichi Koga, Mosst people just call me Koga. You are looking at putting away a major player in dealing M. ssignss point to the order being the main ssupplier ,it hassn’t been confirmed, but they have linked one of the big Red guys ass being involved.”
Those behemoths were always in the news smashing something. Reports of them fighting against another crime syndicate were getting them some positive press, but it made Koga all the more certain that they were simply trying to eliminate the competition.
“And they are certainly involved with the order. Sso, what you are potentially looking at being up againsst, is a whole lot of notoriouss killerss. The bone lady, Pink death, the big redss and all of their friendss. I’m not ssaying they will throw the worst of them at you firsst, but you know they have to have ssome ssubtle killerss in their employ as well."
“The immediate threat isn’t anyone I recognize, which meanss there likely issn’t a major player involved which iss good, it might be enough to convince your sstubborn assss, you are in danger, and leave you alive long enough to realize you could usse the help. If you really want to help put thiss guy away. Small group of thugs that has been walking by your place around the time you close, giving your shop a really close look, they’ve been like clockwork for the past week, making their passs and leaving the area. Tonight, however they made three passsess and hung around for a while, they are making their play tonight. You’ve got inssurance don’t you? ”
Koga slowed his pace as he heard someone else call a challenge out to the men that were after him, it was not their night. He couldn’t leave someone else to clean up his mess, Even if the ring of her voice sounded confident. He turned downward and made it to the alley’s ground in an instant, there was something exhilarating about running with gravity behind you, he turned the angle and started to run out of the alleyway. He burst out of the corner not knowing what to expect, but the Noteworthy blonde was not what he expected. Koga swallowed hard, there were some enemies you looked forward to confronting one day, some you did not. Lori Faust was not someone he would cross lightly.
More confusing however was, the fact that there were certain people you never expected to help you out. For instance, you probably wouldn’t ask a beggar for money, you wouldn’t ask a police officer to help you steal a car, and you certainly didn’t ask a crime boss to help you fight crime.
What the heck was she doing defending him?
He stood dumbfounded as the men began to close on her. Nope, He wouldn’t stand there and watch, He had no doubt she could handle these three goons with ease, but he wouldn’t sit there and watch it, heck, he might even be helping the guy out by sparing him, her wraith.
He sprinted as fast as he could down the side walk leaping on the closest man’s back and putting him in one of his signature sleeper holds. Something about his muscles enjoyed the attack, he attributed it to what he could only assume was a constrictors instinct. He was a bag man, but big men needed to breathe. He hung from the man’s back until he staggered and fell to the ground, Looking up to see how she had made out.
Koga ran, ran as fast as his reptilian legs would carry him. he dodged around a corner and went strait up the wall most people didn't bother to look up when they expected someone to play by the normal rules.
The gunshots that echoed through the air rang in his ears with a threat of finality. luckily he had natural camouflage and new how to zig when they expected him to zag.
Aparently! M users did not like it when you took out there dealer, not one bit, they didn't like when bold as day you walked up, clocked them, stole their cash and supply, he had intended on duct taping the guy to a light pole and calling the cops. Now however, he was running from at least on thug with a gun and who knows how many potential users.
He should have known the large group across the street was with the guy as security. As it was, he was going to have to settle for dropping the M off anonymously with his connection at MRC and donate the money to an orphanage or some other charity that could use it. If....big if. he survived to see the opportunity to do more good deeds.
He ran up the wall and came to a balcony over which, he dove and hunkered down. Hetapped the door across from him tentatively. The girl that came to the sliding glass door was wide eyed. It was rough neighbor hood and the family that lived less than a block from m dealers could likely use some of his newly acquired funds just as much as any group of orphans.
"Can I buy your potted plantss? thirty buckss each?" he'd still have plenty left over to donate. he grinned as sthe young woman odded. he counted out six dirty twenties and put them in a pair of shoes that had been tossed there who knows how long ago.
He then gathered the four small potted plants and peeked out over to see the man far below him. he edged out to the side of the wall and moved down to the middle of the building, hopefully leaving the apartment out of harms way.
he then threw a pair of the potted plants as he could downward. hopefully it would only give the nice man a concussion.the first slammed at the mans feet, the second however slammed the surprised expression right off of his face.
Now that the gunman was taken care of, things were a bit more balanced. he paced over toward the next apartment and set the other two pants down. Picking up the pace once more, it didn't look like the others were interested in him. at least no one he saw.
Koga grinned. “Jusst think about how weird it iss to be the guy that hass to sshow up and ssay it.” the grin vanished and he continued glancing over his shoulder as he realized he wasn’t being granted access, the guy was smarter than he though. Not that he thought he was dumb, but he was getting mixed into some scary stuff.
“Look, you helped get ssomeone arressted recently, He is connected with ssome bad people, not jusst bad, but really bad, and from what I can tell, they are making their move tonight. The officer in charge of your casse said you refussed protection until the trial, sso he couldn’t asssign an officer to you. Sso he assked me to keep an eye on you insstead.” That small grin came back for a moment again and then vanished. ”Do you have ssomewhere ssafe you can hold up for a while?” Koga looked in the reflection of a store across the street to disguise the fact that he was checking on the group. They were spreading out, something they had yet to do this week, while doing recon. They had been staying in a tight little pack all week long. either way he needed to talk to the guy, someone was coming for him, wheter it be tonight or tomorrow night he needed to get himself to a safe house, at least if he wanted to make it until the trial was done.
Well, the jobss aren’t quite giving back asss we are making money. But the x-teen group doess park clean up and what not. Kind of good will ambassador type stuff. hey look at those mutant kids behaving better than ours sort of stuff, though I suspect sometimes they think we are doing it because we are working off community service.” He shrugged and grinned. Koga eased his grip on the door of the car as he realized Nate did not drive like a crazy person. So many mutants that he knew drove like the car was on fire and they need it to stop, drop and roll.
“Well, you start off as a trainee, work with some of the established members on missions and they see how you do, go over some training in the danger room, learn the ropes so to speak. And from there it is really a matter of sticking around and joining up. You’d want to talk to Sshin, Ssam, Kealey or Mirror to get you started on training, they might fast track you if you have pretty good control of your abilities. Maya would be one to talk to as well, but I haven’t seen her around in awhile.”
Well his opinion of the girl just dropped quite a bit, maybe he should have been advising Nate to move on. “hmmmm, well that doessn’t quite align with the being on thin ice, but I gotta assk. How does a police officier not love superheros? That’s like not liking good Samaritans. I mean I get being against the guys out there like the Judge, but if they are truly a hero, they aren’t going to be doing more damage than they are stopping, you know what I mean? What does she say about the police super hero team? ” He opened his mouth to continue. “ Ssorry, I just, that’s what I have spent the last six years aspiring to become, sso I might be a bit touchy.” He ran his fingers through his hai, expertly avoiding the spall spikes hidden with in.
Koga kept a close eye on the news and did his best to make an effort to make the city a safer place, the introduction of M had made his world so much more perilous, So when he noted an average citizen taking charge and showing some back bone for his community he took note. The police and even the mrc couldn’t afford to spare a man these days, so he took it on himself to watch over the potential witness, when he could, he obviously couldn’t watch him twenty four seven, but he would do what he could…like tap into a local internat connection install a camera and observe his place of business and home.
The past few nights he had noted higher traffic of a certain group that couldn’t be good for the mans health, the recent nights he had been spared by the presence of police responding to a domestic disturbance two buildings over…but tonight was looking good for the wife and kids as the husband had actually come home sober. That however meant that the potter was in for a rough night.
He couldn’t help but wanting to get to know the man he had been looking out for a little better, he was curious to learn more about the why and how he got involved. He had to warn him about the potential danger anyway, so he might as well sate his curiosity as well. He cleaned the lense on his camera once more and walked down the building and across the street, the thugs hadn’t noticed and neither had Alex. A rap on the shop door would solve at least one of the parties’ attentions at least. He smiled slightly and remembered to change his skin tone from that of the building across the street to that of his born color. He awaited for the answer on the shopkeep.
Koga called tentatively “Alex? We have to talk, you are in danger.”
