A notion quickly reentered Sophia mind a short second after Sam seemed to disappear from the group, as though recalled something someone had mentioned earlier. If this was a school, where was the classes, where were all the other students, the teachers, and what exactly were they teaching here. No where in sight did it appear like the high school Sophia had once attended years ago. Even though she did attend one at one point, this didn’t look like it at all, and if it were, it was more of a mansion for a wealthy family than a school.
“A question I have, if this is a school, where are the class rooms? Do people commute here from there homes? Is there some sort of administration process I must go through? Is there anyone in particular I should meet with, to let them know I am here?” Sophia wondered, conjuring the intuitive nature to wonder perhaps if there was a process to this all that she should consider doing. The last thing she wanted was to do was to get in trouble at a school if she were going to be expected to attend, “That is if I can go here perhaps?”
“Her angry? Psh…” she snorted, looking back up at Sophia as though such an emotion was far beyond her abilities. A gentle laugh seemed to appear across the air, escaping the Elizabeth’s mouth as though it was unfortunately that she laughs. The chilling breath of laughter seemed to end abruptly, “She couldn’t even bring herself to be angry if she wanted to be. What business is it of yours what our business is?”
“Elizabeth, don’t be rude,” while Elizabeth was stout and rude, the tall and soft Sophia was gentle enough to not be angered by such a event. Elizabeth was always like this, rude and unwilling to give to give up anything for anyone else. But Sophia was gentle, meek, and oddly innocent as where most people her age would never bee. Sophia cared not for what Elizabeth did anymore, since she could never stop her, “She is right though, I’m not upset or angered at all.”
“My your stupid,” with a small corner of cake being quickly shoved in to her mouth, the tiny doll assumed it insulting to ask such a question. Wasn’t t obvious to everyone else that Sophia was not necessarily the one in control? “You never ask the servant why they’re a servant. It should be obvious anyways, take a look at her. Anyone can see that I’m the one talking and the one in charge.”
”Elizabeth…! Time to go,” and with that, Sophia dropped Elizabeth from her original cradling position and allowed her to fall down toward the ground with the most minimal effort. Though Elizabeth look just before hand was one of confusion, as she fell, she seemed to understand what was going on. She might have though she was in control, but Sophia was the real one in control and from time to time, Elizabeth did tend to listen to what Sophia asked of her. Though once Elizabeth’s body began hitting the ground, she didn’t stop moving, and continued to pass through the floor, as though she were a ghost, disappearing completely a half a second later completely as her entire body finished phasing through the ground.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” she quickly began apologizing profusely. She hadn’t been this embarrassed or confused in a while, not since she first woke up in the hospital a few years ago, but she was perhaps in a slightly better position than back there. Though she had to admit a few things, “If Elizabeth says I’m a Mutant, than that’s what I am. She… only comes out to defend me; everyone only ever comes out to defend me. But I do need to be… fixed… I need to have them stop coming out when ever they want. Otherwise… I can’t go home.”
“Wrong with me? HAHAHAHAHAHA!” her laughter was as annoying as her own voice was coming out of her. She might have been extremely cute and easily something any girl would want add to their prized collection of dolls, but this particular doll’s personality would have scared away most folk. Self absorbed, crude, and above all else, not very easily amused, “First of all, I’m not a what, I am a who. And who I am is Elizabeth, Baroness to Las Vegas. Secondly, don’t talk down to me like I’m some child. I may look small, but I’m not little.”
“Elizabeth… don’t,” Sophia meekly called out to Elizabeth, perhaps in a vain attempt to get her to stop talking, as her talking never led her to anything good. Elizabeth however spun around and shot a dirty look at her, like she was telling her to ’Stay quiet and shut up,’ all in a single look.
“According to reliable information, Mutants are individuals that surpass normal humans in abilities, strength, and appearance. We are obviously not that, we far superior than that. You may have notice the kitty, that’s Mordred, out little enforcer. And if you behave nicely and don’t treat my servant poorly, you won’t have to meet my big enforcer,” Elizabeth seemed to prance back and forth, as though it were her turn to lecture and she was simply walking back and forth as a way to exercise her legs. However, she never gave up the impression of being a know it all, or appearing arrogant for absolutely knowing it all, “If you technically want to classify us, then we are a Superior Mutant. My servant’s powers go far beyond what you can imagine. That’s because she’s the Imagine Witch!”
“Please Elizabeth,” Sophia gentle folded down to the ground and picked up Elizabeth, cradling her in both arms and adjusting her so that she held thigh against her upper torso, but still facing back toward the boys. As she brought Elizabeth up to her body, the life like doll continued to kick and squirm out of Sophia’s grasp, but much like any time before hand it wasn’t going to happen, so she decided to make the best of it, “That’s enough. If she says that I’m a mutant, than it must be true.”
“Ofcourse I’m right, I’m always right!” just as she said it, swirls of light appeared before Sophia and Elizabeth, and quickly disappeared, giving way to a small china plate with a single slice of cake and tiny fork to go along with it. Heavy on the frosting, coming off a layered circular cake, Elizabeth quickly reached out for it before it fell to the floor form mid air, and began munching down on to the cake as though it were suddenly tea time. She would pause, only to taunt and brag a little bit more, “You can’t possibly imagine what she can do. So don’t even try to bully or tease her, Got it!”
A sudden person seemed to sudden come behind Sophia and Elizabeth, suddenly stopping them in their tracks. He proceeded to start jotting down something on to a piece of paper, to which he passed on to Sophia. It wondered why she was distressed and if he could possibly help, but before Sophia could attempt to reply, the tiny Elizabeth leaped upwards, snatching the piece of paper out of her hand. With one hand still holding on to her ice cream, and another reading the note, she preceded to start crumpling up the paper and directed her attention up above, “Distressed? She’s not in distress, she just always looks like that after I do something nice for her. Isn’t that right hun?”
“Elizabeth, please,” she quietly tried to quiet Elizabeth down from speaking for her, as her tiny companion never seemed to act accordingly to the situation and took almost everything as an attack against the two of them. Quickly though, she directed her attention back to the individual, “No there’s nothing wrong.”
“You shouldn’t have done that Elizabeth,” Sophia ran to try and keep up with her friend as she seemed to move on with out her.
“You wanted ice cream didn’t ya? So what are you complaining about?” a doll like creature began walking along very carefree, wielding a cone of ice cream in both her hands as though it were too big for her. She was rather impressed with herself, pleased that she had been able to eat ice cream all the sudden. Taking another lick she turned up to the much taller Sophia above her, “You make it sound like I stole it.”
“But you did. You shouldn’t steal, it’s wrong,” her meek and very timid replies seemed to annoy Elizabeth down by her feet. While Sophia was very meek and innocent, Elizabeth wasn’t a trouble maker by nature, and she felt she was the only one who existed. Combined with her ability herself and others completely invisible, she could do as she pleased with little expectation of trouble on her part. Sophia didn’t agree and was against anything that was wrong, which was usually everything Elizabeth did.
“I got you one too, you like coconut don’t you?” Elizabeth was minding her own ice cream, a pair of strawberry and vanilla ice cream, while she led the way down the walk way. None else was around, but even if they’re were, no one would have immediately understood what Elizabeth really way, since not ever Sophia really knew.
“I don’t think… you understand…” Sophia meekly relied. She was offly scared, of what it was quite sure, but this person lecturing to her seemed rather defensive about this mutant subject. Sophia though had never denied that mutants existed at all, but it seemed like this person was under the impression she did. She may have not thought of herself as a mutant just yet, but despite this, Shawn continued to lecture her on the subject as though convincing him self rather than her.
“You make it seem like I said you don’t exist…. That’s not what I meant. Maybe mutants do exist, and maybe this is a school for them. If it is… then there might be someone here who can fix me?” even if she was one, the thought never crossed her mind at all, and with these boys breathing down her neck, she wasn’t quite sure if she was one at all, since they weren’t really trying to convince her she was one. It seemed most like they were trying to bully her in to admitting she was one.
“Who needs fixing?” suddenly there was this tiny voice beside her feet, shouting upwards at those above her. It was the dinner girl from before, dressed in this very fashionable pure black, gothic Lolita dress, complete with ruffles and lace, even a black little headdress on her head. Her skin was a fair complexion, a pair of green eyes and long, dark black hair tied in a pair of pigtails at the back of her head. Though she might have been the cutest thing in the world if she had smiled and was in a cuter pose; instead her arms were on her hips, looking up at the boys with intent in her eyes, “And you three sure are a trio of bullies. Backing her up in to a wall and then trying to bullying her in to believing she’s a mutant. You should be ashamed of yourself.”
“I think you are… mistaken?” she seemed to point out. They continued to give a lecture about something they might have known about. But Sophia, in her mind, wasn’t one of these mutants. They must have been tricking her or attempting to poke fun at her unfortunate mess. Unlike them, Sophia was not weighting the benefits of various people in to the mix, except for herself and her parents.
“No… I don’t think I’m one of these mutants. I’m here… to be fixed. If I’m not fixed, then people will get hurt, I’ll get in more trouble, and my parents… they won’t let me go back home. I was told if I came here, people can take a look at my head and fix it. Otherwise, things will be bad at home…” innocence may have been an interesting choice of words in some people’s mind, but Sophia believed she was here to be fixed some how. Unknowingly, Sophia was damaged, mentally after a horrible car accident. It messed up her mind, and as such, screwed up her ability to normally use her mutant powers.
According to her parents, she was here for one reason, to these boys, it was another, as though she was specially here to be trained some how. Sophia though had no interest in training, but rather getting rid of the strange things that were happening around her, “I don’t want anything strange to happen around me anymore. Mama and Papa don’t like it when these guardians appear, they mess stuff up.”
“Mutant?” Sophia head tilted slightly, as though confused and curiously interested in what was going on. For being at such a school, it probably wasn’t anything unusual, but Sophia continued to look at Shawn as though he was crazy, or perhaps on some sort of special medication.
She initially pulled back, as it seemed they were trying to lead her in a particular direction, a chair or bench of such, but she wouldn’t have any of it and hugged the wall carefully with her back. Eventually, leaned in a bit, questioning what exactly was going on, “What is a…. mutant?”
“Mordred… Back in the... wall…” Sophia began pushing the creature’s head in, as though trying push him to the wall. Granted only its head had come out so far, but for the most part its head was as big as fair size bigger than a lion’s. What might have seemed normal to them wasn’t for Sophia, this creature seemed unnerved by what was going on and to be honest it wasn’t any of Sophia’s doing.
Her pushing and thrusting in to the strange lion creature’s body eventually gave way and pulled itself back in to the wall. As it did, Sophia slid forward from the missing head she had once been pushing, nearly running in to the wall and slamming her head in to it. Thankfully she didn’t, but it still seemed like a close call in many ways. Had the creature fully come out, this massive five foot tall creature might have gone wild and tore the place up, which never ended well for Sophia.
This wasn’t looking good for Sophia, she had a vague idea of who might be coming next, but she feared that if she did, it wouldn’t be pretty. Sophia knew she had to be forward and do something, explaining things might not be easy, but she had to try, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. It’s not my fault, I can’t control when they come out, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
It was apparent that they weren’t overly phased by anything going on, as though this were normal or atleast cool. Sophia held her arms in front of her and looked down to the ground once again before speaking up once again, “I’m Sophia. I was sent here to be fixed. I had a bad accident a few years ago, and I haven’t been the same since then. If I can be fixed, then my guardians won’t come out, and I can maybe go back home.”
Panic and fear had crept down Sophia’s body, slightly afraid of the amount of people around her, but also what they might end up doing to her. Her skill with people were not very good, but with boys and men in particular, she always found it difficult to want to trust them since according to her mother in a casual utterance had said they were all liars and cheats. Obviously it was about someone in particular, perhaps never intended to mean everyone, but she heard it from her mother, so she believed it to be true.
Though before much more could happen, before the question asked could even be processed in her mind, a familiar sudden feeling came over her. Suddenly Sophia could see a lot sharper than previously, her sense of hearing increased as well to being able to hear a familiar commercial on a TV that couldn’t have been heard before, and a faint smell of hot sauce could be smelt that started upstairs and then trailed back downstairs rather quickly and then returned on to one of the boys before her. All this meant that something was beginning to appear, and with a familiar nose shortly afterwards, “ROAR!”
Sophia turned behind her to witness a creature beginning to push its way out of the wall. Its had was massive in appearance, very much like a lion covered in small fish like scales that ran up and down its body. Turning her head to see one of her friends beginning to pop out of the wall, which quickly ran over to it as though to try and push it back in to the wall, faintly crying out to it, “No… Mordred…”
A new person had appeared, and then a second person randomly not only ran by, but ran by in a panic as well. When they returned, he too began to crowd about the blonde haired girl, eager not only to introduce himself like the others, but to some how make her acquaintance. They may have not seemed particularly evil or forward, but this wasn’t the type of girl who was really a social butterfly. She was more like a social caterpillar, but not overly eager to blossom quite yet. This meant all the sudden attention she attracted with almost a negative aspect rather than a positive one that most people would have seen this encounter as.
“Ah… um… uh… “ she seemed frightened, placing her arms up toward her chest and slowly backing up as people came to greet her. A nervous reaction if ever there was one to be seen, as this girl seemed to be perplexed on how to react to the sudden popularity she was finding. Soon her backing up was no longer an option as she ran in to a wall. While still in no real harm it would have seemed to a casual passerby, she was particularly scared and hesitant about saying or doing anything.
She finally closer her eyes, recalling what she said and done in past when people crowded around her, and quickly stammered out her name, “…So…Sophi…a…”
When the door opens, there was this guy on the other side of the door, moderately cute with his wavy brown hair, yet oddly colored eyes staring back at the blonde haired girl as he opened the door. He seemed almost genuinely surprised to see anyone on the other side, especially her, all dressed up in a simple long floral skirt and white button down blouse. However it wasn’t the cuteness of this guy that had this girl flustered, but rather the sudden appearance of someone. She only caught a glimpse of his face, and turned to look back before her as though scared to be seen talking to him.
A slight shiver passed off her body as the guy parted ways for her to enter mansion. Mutant High he had said, but it wasn’t quite apparent that this was a high school of any kind. It looked more like a decadence to a rich man’s taste in fine living. Slowly, she peered in, as though trying to check out the place before walking in. As she did, the young man introduced himself, and questioned her as though perhaps a suspect in some murder. While it was actually a very trivial question, the girl didn’t quite seem capable of answering it with any reasonable level of skill. As she approached in to the entryway, her eyes continued to gaze over the spectacle that was this mansion, instead of being forward with the question. The next few peeps out of her mouth were very quiet, as though hesitant to actual answer anything. Perhaps nervous or anxious, but definitely scared, “Yes… I’m new… I think.”
“I swear, are you ever not nervous?” a tiny voice called out, annoyed and particularly unhappy with having to wait before a large oak door like a statue, waiting for her companion to finally give it a knock. The woman had just arrived, having walked down a long drive way to get to the estate of this prestigious Academy, toting behind her a pair of roller bags and a duffle bag at her feet. Assumingly it was her luggage she had brought along with her, but who knew what it could have really been.
“Patience Elizabeth. I’ll do it,” this almost average girl seemed to hold her hand just short of the door, as though prepared to give it a good knock. From the tone in her voice, this short haired blonde girl was either scared out of her wits or perhaps in shock over something, but she was reluctant and very nervous about even attempting to knock on the door at this point, “I just need a moment.”
“Of all the,” beside her feet was a small mannequin doll, no more than two feet tall, appearing as though she were upset by the way she shifted her body to one hip. Lifelike in appearance, the doll with the long black hair in pigtails and an elegant Victorian style dress raised her fist and gave the door a few good knocks. Looking back up the girl, she seemed to smile as though it were an effortless feat to knock on the door, “There, see how easy that was? You come and get me when there’s cake.”
“Elizabeth…” the girl seemed to pout as the small doll began walking in to the door, disappearing in to the door the more she passed through it until she was no longer there. Just as she was finished, the door’s lock began fidgeting, and the blonde girl turn her attention to the door, eyes wide open as though nervous and anxious to see what ever monster might possibly be on the otherside.

Description of ability(ies):Absolute Creation / Imaginary Guardians Sophia possesses the latent ability to create objects and creatures from her imagination and bring them in to the world. This is possible due to Sophia’s ability to inadvertently bend molecules in the air and create new ones, allowing her to form complex objects and even living creatures in the process. However, this ability has never been actualized or seen to its fullest extent, due to a life changing injury when she was fourteen.
After the event, Sophia’s brain was wiped clean, along with her memories and personality, and thus wiping out her ability to fully control her mutant powers. They take shape now as a trio of creatures from Sophia’s imagination, a physical projection from her mind in order to protect her while in a fragile state. Her mind is able to materialize any of these creatures at any given time, and often, against or without her orders.
They appear only appear from solid planes, IE walls, Table tops, level streets, etc. Generally, so long as Sophia is touching a solid plane big enough (Via hands, skin, or even standing on it), she can summon one of the guardians of that relative size. Only one guardian can be out at a time, however, they can switch on the fly by returning to the ground and switching out for another. Each Guardian acts accordingly, but Sophia can take direct control of their action if necessary. She can communicate with them via Telepathy. They can travel upwards of a mile and half before it becomes a struggle for Sophia to maintain connection and control of them, and any further than that, they disappear completely have to be re-summoned.
The trio of Guardians are the following:
~ Elizabeth ~ A small humanoid girl who takes the form of a mannequin doll, roughly two feet tall. She has long black hair which reaches to the ground in a pair of pigtails on the back of her head. She a white complexion with smooth skin, and is dressed in a black gothic Lolita style clothing, complete with lace headdress. She speaks with a slight British accent and has a habit for getting in to trouble because she refuses to take orders from other people and Sophia tends to not want to boss her around because of her personality. Elizabeth loves cakes of any kind, and can be easily bribed with them if necessary.
Along with her less than charming personality, she possess unique abilities as well, including the ability to turn herself or Sophia invisible at will, possess the strength of an average man, and can fire small balls of dark energy, called “Dark Balls”. The Dark Balls are like small bags of heat; people hit by them often only notice a sudden rise in heat on there body, and nothing else. However, if a flammable material is left in the dark ball, it can however, light on fire after a few seconds.
Unlike the other Guardians of Sophia, Elizabeth is the closest to Sophia’s true ability. Elizabeth can manifest objects along with her when she appears, such as crayons, cake, and toys, however they disappear when she does. However, what Elizabeth creates is fully up to her, not Sophia in many cases. Elizabeth also closely matches Sophia’s original personality before the accident, mimicking her carefree and wild personality when she was a small child.
~Mordred~ A lion like creature whose body is covered in both fur and lizard like scales. Its body is five feet tall and weighing nearly six hundred pounds. It has monstrous like teeth and a whip like tail. There are spikes that flow down its back in a pair of lines. Its paws have longer than usual claws which can fully extend up to six inches. Though it has a sweeter personality much like a normal house cat or dog, it is overly defensive of Sophia and will put itself in harms way to make sure its master is not hurt.
Mordred, much like Elizabeth , plays host to a few unusual abilities as well. These include the ability to smell and track, see further than normal humans, and hear exceptional well. The information taken can be relayed back to Sophia. Mordred is also about as strong as your normal lion, but more resilient than one.
~RG729 – Big Guy~ A twenty foot tall, fifteen ton robot nicknamed “Big Guy”. It possesses no latent personality, but responds primarily to voice commands. Its body frame appears like a well built muscular man: broad shoulder, massive chest and arms, and tiny head, complete with a type of flowing trench coat made entirely out of metal. The robot itself has various beam based projectiles from its arms, chest, and shoulders, and can pick up cars as though they were nothing at all. It can also fly short distances. Sophia possess great strength when Big Guy is out
Unlike the other two guardians, this one is so massive that it does not fit in the space of normal areas, as well, it has a major drain on Sophia’s energy and can wear her out quickly if used for too long. In many situations, the robots excessively large arms and hands appear out of the ground to smash, attack, or defend Sophia when necessary. This keeps the drain on Sophia minimal as it doesn’t have to expose its entire body out of the ground. However, it can only be fully exposed and out of the ground for a max of 15 minutes with out seriously injuring Sophia. After 10 minutes, Sophia feels faintish and can usually pass out from the effects of the Robot. Big Guy is the only Guardian with a time limit.
Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies): -Each Guardian can disobey Sophia if it means putting her in harms way or doing something against there better wishes. In Elizabeth’s case, it’s her personality. -Guardians can be summoned with out Sophia’s order. -Two guardians can not be used at the same time. -If Sophia become unconscious or falls asleep, the Guardians will disappear. -Sophia is frail as a normal human and has almost no way to attack.
Fighting style (if any): Though Sophia has no actual flying style and doesn’t fight, each of her Guardian attacks in there own way. -Elizabeth tends to run away and keep her distance with firing her Dark Balls. She also likes to go invisible and tamper with people’s clothing or equipment. If spotted, she’ll run away and hide, or attack with Dark Balls. -Mordred does fast pounce like attacks. He’ll leap at people, to get them on to their backs and proceed to beat them with his paws. Otherwise, he will run by them quickly, scratching and cutting them with the spikes on his back. -Titan attacks with mostly punches and swings. It can reach its arm out of the ground to defend or attack out of the ground. When fully summoned and out of the ground, it attacks similar to the Hulk, with heavy punches and swings. It can fire its beam weapons only when fully summoned, and will so only when there is a clear shot or there is a call to fire. Its favorite attack is to grab a creature head or body part, and fire the beam while its still holding on to it from its hands.
History of your character: Third daughter of a wealthy Casino manager, Sophia was the light of her father’s eyes, as well as the bane of his wallet as well. From an early age, Sophia sought attention from her much older sisters who were both twelve and fifteen years older than her already. Because of there quickly changing life and their otherwise rich life style, Sophia learned early on that this was how the world worked, that people better off were much better people. As such, she acted this way too, very much the spoiled brat who could do little wrong in her parent’s eyes. Sophia was quick to spend outrageous amount of money on even the smallest pair of glasses and toys, all at her father’s happiness.
By the age of thirteen, she was quickly graduating from simply rich things to rich experiences. Though only fourteen, she was seen at major parties with her older sisters, even drinking occasionally and partying to the wee daylight hours. None of it phased Sophia, but she was a complete brat for it. At school, she was friends with only the most popular and richest girls, and quickly had a habit of making other people’s lives miserable if she didn’t get her way. One such time, she hired other students at her school to beat up a boy who wouldn’t let her copy his test in class, and shortly afterwards made him a social outcast in the process.
This all changed rather quickly though. At the age of fourteen, she began noticing that things she wanted were always appearing right when she wanted them. This usually meant money, clothing, and in one case, an expensive cell phone. It was all quite strange but Sophia never questioned what was going on, and simply passed it off her parent’s random gifts. Unannounced to her, this was her Mutant ability to create things about of thin air. While heading home with one of her older friends after a party, they struck a tree like object, crushing the front end of the car in. The driver flew out through the car’s window and died shortly afterwards from a broken neck and several other injuries. Sophia survived, but had massive head trauma. The incident was never explained, but it was one of Sophia’s future guardians that sought to protect Sophia from the fast car, disappearing shortly after the car had stopped.
After nearly two months of being in coma, Sophia awoke about the time school was expected to start, completely lost as to what was going on, remembering nothing about her previous up to this point. Objects and such were still familiar to her, but the details of her life had been wiped clean. This is due to a number of small fragments of bone that had been lodged in her brain from the accident, which were removed by the doctors, but heavy damage continued through out the head. Doctors gave little hope that she would remember what happened to her at all, and even less chance that she would eventually recover the girl she once used to be.
Once she left the hospital, Sophia was a completely changed person. Many of the things that were normal to her now frightened her. Such as her friends who came and visited her, because they were loud and very excited when they visited Sophia, she quickly became scared of them, pushing them away in fear that they were there to hurt her. School was not entirely better either upon her return in the winter, people who once knew Sophia attempted to welcome her back to school, but Sophia became instantly withdrawn by the loud noises and atmosphere. She quickly lost all her friends, power in school, and became the bullied rather bully herself. As during this time, strange things began happening around Sophia. Odd bite marks on books and lockers of other students, strange child like laughter in hallways, along with childish like graffiti in crayons, and things that were compacted that weren’t suppose to be easily compacted, such as motorcycles. It was quickly established that Sophia was at the front of all these actions, seemingly because anyone who picked on Sophia had these strange occurrences happen shortly afterwards.
Her parents eventually took her out of school and finished her school in the privacy of there home. Sophia rarely ventured outside and mostly stayed in the room. Few friends would visit initially to try and help Sophia, but they all eventually left her once they quickly realized she wasn’t getting any better. Sophia was unsure about everything going on to her, more so when she began seeing strange creatures in her room, which led to her parents thinking that she was hallucinating. These creatures would end up being her guardians, appearing occasionally to offer Sophia comfort, all except the tiniest of her guardians, the doll Elizabeth, who would taunt and tease Sophia constantly until she began playing with her.
One day, while Sophia wasn’t paying attention and was playing with Elizabeth, Sophia’s mother caught sight of the small doll moving on its own. Afterwards, camera’s were secretly installed in to the house to monitor Sophia, and quickly became apparent that Sophia had a strange beast like creature, a tiny life like doll, and a seeming huge metallic arm, following Sophia around the house. While unaware of what was going on to her, Sophia came to befriend these creatures and was quickly learning how to control them and of their abilities, largely due to the assistance of Elizabeth, a mediator for the trio of guardians that were assisting in protecting her.
Eventually, at the age of seventeen, Sophia named the beast like cat creature Mordred and the robot like creature Big Guy. While her parents were away, Sophia would play in the garden of there house, practicing her abilities to control her guardians and how to summon them, innocently training in the process. The sudden creation of strange creatures forced her parents to try and seek some sort of assistance that would cure Sophia of this problem. They spent massive amount of money on specialist to analyze the Sophia and see what the problem was. Eventually, one doctor pointed out that their daughter could very well simply be a mutant. He went on to suggest that some mutants have mental and telepathic capabilities, that they might be able to block the part of Sophia’s mind that control her mutant powers.
In order to protect their family and not let it known that they were both the parents and harboring a mutant, they offered to send Sophia to the Xavier Institute, hoping that someone there would be able to cure her of her disease in the process. This was also done so that the family would be able to keep themselves and their social lives safe. Though the essentially disowned Sophia, they left her with a single credit card, should she need anything.
Sample RP: “Please Elizabeth, don’t be a bother…” a young woman protested to a doll of all things. She dressed in a simple long purple skirt with lace trim, and a white button down blouse, her doll fashionably dressed up in black gothic Lolita style dress with her black hair pulled back into a pair of long pigtails that flowed down her back and even a lace headdress like a maid. The simple short blonde hair girl, though sophisticated in appearance seemed almost unfit for her clothing, as she looked worried and frightened for being in such a public space as a fast food restaurant on the backside of near nowhere.
She had been traveling for nearly a day on her own, on her way east from Las Vegas to a new private academy that was hopefully awaiting her arrival in the next day or two. This convent truck stop played home to lunch for the time being, though only for the purposes of a short 45 minute lunch and a quick stretch of the legs before the bus refueled and cooled off a little from the desert heat.
“Don’t be a bother?!? I do what I want. Pass the French fries already!” a more excited child like voice nearly shouted out. With just a hint of a British accent, she hardly sounded cooperative with the woman, as though a sister or small cousin traveling with her, though she did seem to make any sort of appearance at all, “You know what your problem is, you got not back bone. None at all. If you want to stop me, just take it away from me.”
“But I’m hungry Elizabeth. This is the only chance we’ll get to get lunch today. Please don’t steal all my French fries,” she mildly protested, a sort of worry to her voice as she reached out for her French fries, only to have her hand snapped back after a slight slap to them a second later.
“What did I tell you, Sophia? You big baby. If you want them, take them, don’t fight with me over them, I’ll always win,” she chuckled, as a slight munching noise could be heard between the two, yet not be seen directly by others. The two seemed to continue arguing despite what appeared to be a trio of college bound teens coming over to check and see what was going on. Though this girl and doll were in a fast food diner, they were around the corner from the front lanes, curiously positioned in an area where few people could see them. Because she was back there and alone, it merely looked like some blonde haired girl eating lunch by herself, not with anyone in particular, such as a doll.
“Hey baby, whatcha do’n?” one of them began, curiously crowding over the girl with minimal amount of effort. There were three of them, all of which were dressed equally in typical mall style apparel, obviously a pre-frat boy style look. More so than not, they looked like there were roughly the girl’s same age, perhaps a year or so older than her, all them looking as though they had just found a cheat sheet to the next big test. Another chimed in a second later, “Eat’n by yourself?”
“Back off creeps,” the small voice from earlier exclaimed in a high pitched tone. It was quite defensive it seemed, as though not wanting the guys there at all.
“Cool doll. Its gotta be robotic or something,” one of the guys motioned its hand over to the doll, who curiously cradled a French fry in its hands, munching on it periodically as it stood up on the opposing chair from the girl. She didn’t seem overly threatening, what with the fancy black and lace dress she was adorned with, it was most likely she wouldn’t even lift a finger if anyone attempted to touch her. However, that wasn’t the case, as one of boys attempted to reach out to pick her up, she snapped there their hand in objection to her being raise up and off the chair against her will. This didn’t sit too well with the teenage guys, who seemed startled by it, “What the?”
“Hey! How do you turn this doll off?” one guy had quite a pair on him, grabbing at the doll with one hand and lifting it up in to the air before blonde haired girl could object.
“No, don’t,” she warned, half worried about what might happen, and already knowing what would happen regardless if they listen to her meek cautionary warnings.
“How dare you! Unhand me this instance!” the doll spoke up once again, shouting in anger and frustration. Thankfully it wasn’t loud enough to garner any attention from the other guests of the fast food diner, but any more shouting and yelling might have gotten the attention of some them. The doll quickly began kicking back and form, grasping her tiny hands in to little fists and pounding on the guys arm, “You heard me! Let, Me, Go!”
“Wow, check it out, it’s so life like!”
“Yeah,” the one guy began shaking the doll back and forth as it began its child like assault on him. The shaking motion quickly jarred the doll, giving the guys plenty of time to turn her upside down and flip her on to her back to look for some sort of off switch. One guy however was clever enough to keep his eye on his prize.
“Say sweetie, where you heading?” the third guy asked in a very charming fashion. It was clear he was trying to pick her up, but this girl wasn’t having any of it. Instead, she seems scared out of her wits from not only the guys, but what was happening to her life like doll.
The girl turned her head back and forth, first to the guy and then back to her life like doll, and then repeating it back and forth until she could figure out what was going on. This was extremely weird for her, but to a normal person, the only strange thing about this would have been the doll. This girl didn’t quite seem to be a social butterfly, more a social caterpillar, unsure exactly how to react, “I’m not suppose to talk to strangers…”
“Well I’m Eric, what’s your name?” in this guy’s mind, it might have every well just been a shy act. Perhaps he liked to break the shy girls, or thought that this blonde haired girl was simply playing coy and flirting in the bashful, shy way that girls occasionally did. Either way, he started leaning in toward her, aggressively trying to establish his intentions and work his way in to her heart. But this was just one heart he wasn’t going to get in to.
“Will you please put my friend down? She doesn’t like to be picked,” the girl tried again to persuade the guys to let go of her friend before she awoke from her daze and confusion. However, it was too late, as the doll stirred awake, and was quite shocked and embarrassed to find herself hanging upside down with her skirt nearly folder over her head.
“You guy are really pissing me off!” the doll began talking again, even angrier than she had been before. The guys had been searching for an off switch to the doll now for a few moments now, but were not very successful at finding any, it was as though it didn’t exist. And the doll knew this, and had had enough. With a swift kick of her legs, she managed to kick the one guy holding her that had been examining the back of her feet up close. With that, she was released from his grasp and effortlessly floated down to the ground, landing on both her tippy toes.
As she latched on to the every edge of the chair, she began lifting herself to once again find her rightful place on it. The boys were slightly surprised that a single kick from this doll could have knocked there friend no only backwards, but out as well. He lie on the floor, in his own daze and confusion, passed out on the ground, “What the hell is that thing!?!”
“Figured, you associate with ruffians like this Sophia, and you’re bound to get in to trouble,” the doll began in on Sophia, rather than on the men who had been doing everything to them. It wasn’t quite apparent if she had noticed what the one guy had said, but from the way she was speaking, she probably would have ignored him anyways, “I am not a thing, thank you very much. I am Elizabeth, HER imaginary guardian.”
“Imaginary guardian?”
“Elizabeth, shhhh,” Sophia brushed her finger over her lips, attempting to subdue her friend with out any luck. The worried look on her face was quite clear, fearing that people would notice her here with Elizabeth and that she might not be able to get back on to the bus to get to where she was going. Among all else, Sophia was frightened, like a small child almost, unable to clearly rationalize what to do and fearful of letting anyone notice what’s going on.
“Further more, I’m leaving. You can let Mordred deal with these punks,” Elizabeth walked forward off the chair, only to jump at the last second and start falling toward the ground. As her feet began touching the ground, her body continued to move downward due to gravity, as though the ground wasn’t there and she was still falling.
“No, Elizabeth, don’t get Mordred…” she called out, but with no luck as the blonde hair girl seem to panic a bit, fearful of what she knew was going to be coming out. But regardless of her protest, the doll continued to pass in to the ground as effortlessly as she fell toward it.
As the doll finished passing through the ground, she passed on a devilish wink and disappeared from sight all together. Before the college bound guys could figure it out, a curious growling sound began to emanate from an abandoned wall near by. From the wall, a curious creature began to pop its head out, growling intensely like a large cat like creature. And cat like it was, qualities of a lion, large cat like body, thick and full main around its head and neck, and sharp claws attached to its massively sized paws, full of scales rather than fur. It was an amalgam of a lion and a fish almost, somewhat sleek and shinny looking, with the full appearance of a nearly five foot tall lion. As its body began to pull out from the wall, leaving the wall undisturbed in the process, the boys quickly realized what it was, and figured it best to leave. But figuring was probably not what they did, more like running in a blind panic instead, yelling and screaming as they first backed up and then sprinted out of the door, running down the street.
“Mordred, shhh. Go,” waving her hand back and forth to get the lion like creature to disappear back in to wall. As its head peered back in to the wall and disappeared completely, Sophia quickly grabbed her stuff together, including the remaining portions of her lunch and her day bag, and quickly rushed out shortly after the guys had left. She escaped from the attention of others by turning to a back door that led outside. Before anyone could get a glimpse of her, she hastily made it back toward the tour bus, and hopped inside to her original seat in the back, hoping to disappear out of sight from anyone who might have seen her leave.
“Pass the French fries already will ya,” a tiny voice commented while Sophia checked outside of the window to see if anyone was exiting the fast food diner, looking for anyone who had run out in the panic. It seems no one did, but that wasn’t what shocked Sophia, that the tiny doll was back, and now sitting in the opposite seat of Sophia.
“Elizabeth! Please, don’t scare me,” stunned at first, Sophia quickly began to settle down, realizing that her friend came and went at her own leisure.
“You could use a little excitement in your life. Hurry up with the French fries already.”
