The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Maybe coming to the castle wasn't the best idea ever." Although they had to have figured on getting stopped. With all the places to go to this place seemed to be the most heavily guarded. Of course they haven't seen any other places to go besides this one.
The man in chain mail seemed to be the one in charge because it was he that spoke up. With the order to halt being given many of his men turned and drew their weapons on the two travelers.
"What is you propose here? You have been caught young man, you and your Spaniard, trespassing on the Kings land. What business have ye in his domain wearing such strange attire as this?"
Well Streak wasn't to sure how Jorge would take to being called someone's Spaniard so Shawn felt that he should clarify a few things. "First of all, he's not 'my Spaniard' he my friend. Secondly, I'd appreciate it if your pals could lower their weapons seeing as we are unarmed. And thirdly, who the heck are you?" Streak thought they were valid points he made. Unfortunately the other guys didn't see it like that.
There were a few murmurs throughout the group about how strangely the man, meaning Streak, talked. When the man in chain mail raised his hand the guards fell silent almost immediately. A few of the guards decided to get just a little closer and a spear was placed mere inches from Streaks chest. It could have easily impaled him but Streak shot a look at Jorge as if to say 'keep calm'.
Actually the silvermancer was really impressed with how unobservant they were. They were this close and still didn't notice his silver eyes. Either that or they were thinking the sun was playing tricks on them.

"Oh it's definitely interesting. I've had to put out so many fires. Sometimes literally because of accidents that the kids there cause. We've worked hard to get the place back to the way it is now but it's been a tough road with a lot of sped bumps along the way."
He remembered the time when he first arrived the place was getting torn up because of a mutant of Haywire. He was really glad fat was taken care of. Although if it wasn't for that he probably wouldn't have stuck around so long. At the mention of Emerald he was brought back to the conversation. "I know Emerald. She's a good friend I mine. We've been through quite the ups and downs together." Streak wasn't really going to go into any more detail then that but it was true.
The silvermancer listened to the man talk about his trip there and thinking about applying for a job. "You'd be surprised. We've given some pretty out there mutants jobs before. But hey starting a pottery shop sounds like a pretty cool idea. I don't think I've seen to many of those around town."
He was mainly trying to encourage the guy to follow a certain path; not really offer him a job. Besides he seemed to have a pretty good idea of what he needed to do to make it happen and Streak guessed that this movie was going to fund that place.
He was about to say something until he heard the lead actress call the actor Hitler. He realized he wasn't really supposed to stop the conversation to listen to the dialog but it was interesting that he said that in a movie. Returning to his conversation with Mala Knight he said, "I've seen this movie before. It was called the Registration Act. They tried to capture us all but it didn't work to well for them a few years ago." Streak simply stated.
He was pretty sure that a majority of the people around the city and the nation knew about it. Not to mention the whole fiasco that was in Romania about a year ago where they tried the same thing.
Streak simply moved on to the next topic that had been bugging him since he saw the guys eyes change colors. "So what's your powers?"

"So long as you think you can do it, like, you know, you won't get hurt or something.†“But that sounds like a plan."
It was nice the Jorge was concerned for him but he needn't be. "Don't worry about it. I do thins kind of thing all the time man. Besides if it hurt I wouldn't make things like arrows and shoot them long distances." Still the concern was good.
They went towards the side of the villages. Maybe someone on the outskirts would be willing to give some cloths for silver. As they got near the first place he covered on arm in silver and created about a dozen coins in one hand. He shifted them to the opposite hand and looked at the view they were getting.
It was odd that humans went from this simple and clean living to such a complex and dirty environment. It's too bad they couldn't warn them because he knew from movies that if you change the past things could be drastically different when you return to your time.
Streak was sure that the peasants would be interested in silver for clothes but he had to wonder about their living conditions. "Do you think... Sanitarily speaking...that getting clothes from a person out here would be detrimental to our health or would it not matter. I mean say we're transported back into our time wearing their clothes. Didn't they have diseases that current society has completely wiped out? What if we accidentally reintroduce a virus to modern man. Something no one has seen in a hundred years or more, I'd say that would be a bad thing. Just a thought."
He wasn't sure if he was just being paranoid or if this might be a legitimate claim. Either way he wasn't necessarily thrilled about this even if they were about to pay for the clothes rather than stealing them.
Just as he finished his statement and was thinking about the repercussions of bringing back an extinct virus a person of noble looking quality came riding up to them on a horse. He had bright clothing and you could see the chain mail underneath his shirt. His sword was elegant and his body guards seemed just as decked out with swords and bows as he did. This might be a bad thing. However, the silvermancer knew that his weapons could tear these guys armor apart with ease, if it came to that.

Streak was surprised that he lead actress was ready so soon. He figured it'd probably take them hours to get her ready for the shoot again. After all it usually takes forever to get normal actresses ready. He could only imagine the time it took for a mutant actress.
The silver man turned back to his talking buddy for the scene and answered the question. He would have answered sooner but he figured it could wait until they were actually shooting the scene. "I do quite a few things actually but my main job is security for the mansion."
As long as he wasn't asked about the specifics of the security system their conversation would get along just fine. The voice filter was throwing him off a bit. Streak really didn't understand why anyone would want to hide their voice or their face. Of course he'd been in enough situations that his current form was probably more recognizable than his human look.
"I've been working there for a few years now and I'm still amazed at the things that it can go through and still the place can remain strong." Streak stated. He really didn't know how the place did it. It might have been the reputation that kept it going or the loyalty of the students and staff but it was still amazing to see it come back strong after all that mansion has been through.
"What do you do around town?" The silvermancer did really know what to ask this guy behind the voice filter. He couldn't really tell emotion or anything from it. Honestly it was a bit unnerving.

Oddly enough, Streak ha already come to terms with the fact that this was real. Jorge still seemed to be misbelieving. As even if this was fake it was a really good illusion and the would have to applaud whoever could pull something this elaborate off.
You do have a point. I doubt they would take any currency that we now have. Where's a sack of gold or silver when you need one? Well, maybe we can find something hanging on a clothesline? Not that I want to be a thief, but, desperate times and all
Streak couldn't agree more. "I don't like the idea any more than you do but it looks like our only option besides being arrested on the spot for looking weird." Streak threw that out there. If what he'd read all those years ago, and seen on tv, were true they didn't really want to stick out. Especially as mutants and as people from the future. They may have been able to BS their way around those bandits but a king has more things at his resource than bandits do.
As they approached the village, because what else do you call the outlying living areas around the castle, Shawn dissolved his silver bow back into his body so as to not draw attention with that. "Hey, do you think those guards on the ramparts can see us? Do you think we'll get stopped sooner than the gate?"
All of Streak's misgivings about the idea seemed to be coming out. He wasn't exactly sure what to expect from an ancient group like this. Then the though occurred to him. What about my silver eyes. They don't really have contacts yet? Then another thought came to him. This one he voiced.
"Hey, what about my silver. I can separate it from me and we might be able to use it to buy clothes. I've never tried it before but it might work. And lets face it... In this day and age I'm like a walking bank." it as a thought especially since their other option was stealing some clothes. This might be easier. Although his eyes would probably throw some people off. Heck they disturbed people from his year and they know about mutants.

The next morning came to soon for Streak. When he finally awoke he was warmed and dry. There were silver streaks of blood on his arms and he had plenty of bruises to prove that he'd been through an ordeal he previous night.
There was an odd silence in the place when Shawn walked in to the meal area. It was normally silent but today it felt like all eyes were on him when he walked in. He wasn't sure why. Maybe no one had done what he did before. He wasn't really sure. Needless to say, the gossip in the temple was next to zilch.
After breakfast and some serious icing his more serious bruises he made his way back out the arena. The other monks were involved in their chores by the time he made it there. Streak was so sore from the beating it was ridiculous. It even looked like Brother Cho was surprised to see Shawn drag himself into the arena. "Shawnson I'm surprised to see you after the beating u took yesterday." he looked Shawn up and down taking his physical appearance. "Your will is what will keep you going through this tough time. It will be your rock when all else has left you to the elements. It is stronger than your body... But something tells me that u already know that, don't you?"
"I've been through worse in my past. What you did was nothing." Of course he was talking bigger than he currently felt. Heck, if a strong wind had come it probably would have knocked him over. "You should remember, I have been through many inhumane trials and tribulations that would test the very sanity of normal man. Take that into consideration for the next time you try to push my will."
It definitely wasn't the smartest thing do him to say but it was a crucial thing that he needed to get across to this monk. He may have been used to pushing the monks to a certain point but he was going to be hard pressed to reach that point with Streak.
His training soon started with learning some of the basic moves with he weapons. He already knew quite a bit of it because of his previous knowledge in martial arts so things seemed to move relatively quickly. Before lunch he was fighting two on one with a similar bamboo staff that he'd been struck with many times the past night. Brother Cho was impressed with the swiftness that Shawn was picking these things up and he sped up the pace on Shawn to keep him challenged.
They would start with one attacker but soon the second would start in and the fight would be on. They would I until either Shawn was hit or he hit them. They were all experienced and so was he. Unfortunately he had less free time to spend with this weapon than they did. Whenever he was in a fight he seemed to use whatever he thought would benefit him the most. He wasn't restricted to one weapon like here. Pretty soon he was becoming almost invulnerable with this weapon. Many of the monks tried but they couldn't seems to get him. He was definitely just as skilled as their most experienced people here there was no doubt about that. Soon they broke for lunch and he was told that he would resume his chores for the rest of the afternoon.
The afternoon came sooner than he liked and he did his chores and spent time meditating until sundown.

He must have hit the ground at least fifteen times in a row without fail. The last time he got up he was really feeling the workout. Having to pull yourself up by basically just your fingers that many times was hard even if you were an experienced rock climber.
Finally he was ready he knew it was coming and as it came he caught it. Without meaning to a victorious smile escaped his lips. Sure he'd been in plenty of fights but this guy was full of surprises. As soon as the smile was finished forming Streak was being thrown again. This time it was head over heels as he was flipped right off and into the hard dirt again. "You have to be sure of what your goal is. Know your limits and then push past them. That is the only way for improvement." This was getting ridiculous. There was no way he could be giving him life lessons while beating the crap out of him. Streak climbed back up, with great effort.
This time he caught it but quickly let it go in fear of being thrown off again. "Why do you cower from my weapon? Does it scare you? Or are you giving up?" The monk continued to chide him like this for the next minute or so until swiftly, and without warning, he struck Streak in the back of the head with the weapon almost causing him to fall off again. Streak managed to keep his balance, barely, as just as he though he was safe and done seeing stars the other end hit him and he dropped to the ground one more time.
This time there was even a little bit of silver blood that he spit out before climbing back up. Now he was getting mad and determined. The silver blood was proof that he hadn't completely lost his powers and he just needed to reactivate them. Which he didn't know but that was just what the monk had wanted. They continued on like this for quite some time, the sun had even started to set and a few of the monks even gathered about to see what was going on. This left Shawn to suppose that no one had gone this log before, either that or they liked watching the abuse he was getting.
Streak was starting to get a hang of the game. Unfortunately clouds had started to roll in. In this area that meant only one thing. Rain. As he saw a strike coming he moved to a pole behind him a little further away from the mean monk with a big stick. No sooner had he gotten his balance on the new post than the monk had closed the distance and was swinging at him again.
Thunder rolled in the distance and he could feel the air temperature dropping. Lighting stuck somewhere higher in the mountains and more thunder was heard. Mostly Streak was focused on not getting hit, and he wasn't doing to good at it so far. Rain started to come down. In this part of the world it didn't just sprinkle here and a little rain there. It monsoon rained. The elevation they were at was such that it was hard to tell if ideas sleet or rain but it was still cold, wet and coming down hard. So hard in fact that Streak could barely see the monk in front of him anymore. See the staff coming was going to be near impossible. Blow after blow was rained down on Streak as his clothes immediately got soaked completely through. The stings he was getting were just as merciless as the rain. "You can just give up now and we can resume later or we can keep going. It's your choice." Although that was said he knew that quitting wasn't an option tonight.
Steak spit out another wad of his silver blood to the muddy ground. "Let's do this." he said with determination Ingrid voice and salty blood taste in his mouth. The monk smiled, not that Streak could see it from the near blinding rain.
Yet another strike with the staff came at him. It hit him square in the back and Streak let out a cry of pain. Still he remained on the post for probably the first time all day. Another swing came, this one at his head. He ducked and the staff hit nothing but rainwater. "Haha!" Shawn accidentally let out. He didn't mean to he was just really excited that for the first time today he managed to not get hit. That was a mistake.
The next thing he knew Brother Cho started swinging much faster and harder. He managed to block a few dodge a few and get hit by a few. But he was still hanging on. A few times he almost fell off but he used the other poles around him to hang on and push himself back up.
The blows continued to come, even while he was trying to get his balance. Every strike stung worse than the last. He was getting welts from it all and a few were even bleeding just from the sheer number of times he'd been hit there.
This was getting ridiculous. Not that it was ridiculous before but he was having enough of it. A strong strike came at his face and the silvermancer caught it with one hand. There was no motion or anything to it when the staff stopped in his hand. Even Brother Cho was impressed. He monk didn't even try to get the weapon back.
Streak brought one hand down and broke the staff clean in two. The bamboo just shattered like it was a twig. There was not real sensible reason for it to have broke like that but it did. Still carrying part of the staff in his hand he jumped off the pole and started to walk out.
Sore, bloody, bruised, and ironically feeling a little better about the reason he'd come here he left to get warm. There was shouting from Brother Cho for a whole be eventually the distance and the rain blocked that out too. Streak dried off, warmed up by the dire and quickly dozed off not to wake until morning.

And so it wen that Brother Cho was in a new area of the monastery that Streak had been told was off limits. The area was actually slightly guarded by one of the other monks that had been there years before him.
The gate had writing on it that Streak had finally learned. Thanks to the many hours studying he texts in the monks library he'd learned what some of the symbols meant. The door itself was a solid wood that looked like Mahogany. The first symbol that he saw was the Phoenix, a majestic and king of birds to the Chinese. The on right below it was a crane, a brother of the Phoenix. There was also a tiger, dragon, rhino and ox. These animals all had significant meaning in the Chinese culture.
The doors swung open for him, something they'd never done before. "He's expecting you." the guard monk spoke as Streak walked past him. The inside was completely different than the place that he'd been spending his time for the past few months. The doors closed behind Streak and there was only one other person in the arena, because that's what it looked like, except for him.
As the young silvermancer walked closer to Brother Cho he noticed different types of weapons all over the place. The didn't really know what to expect. When he was close enough he heard Brother Cho speaking.
"Here you will learn the path of the monk. Their protection has been of vital importance to the people of china since we were founded. Now you will learn to harness the anger inside you and release it in a proper manner."
At this point Streak was throughly confused. He thought he'd been spending the last however many months learning to harness and release his anger. Soon Brother Cho spoke again. "Stand on the poles." was all he said. Streak looked to his right and saw a huge array of poles varying in height and width staked into the ground.
Promising. He thought as he began climbing onto the closest pole, which happened to be about 6 and a half feet tall, which was just enough to make him have to jump for it. As he began pulling himself up he started getting hit in different directions. "Ahh. What the hell?!" he wasn't expecting that that's for sure.
The beatings continued and he quickly pulled himself the rest of the way up so that he was standing on top of it. As he looked back down for the monk he wasn't there. Streak was sill confused. "Where'd he...?" but he was soon cut off by the sound of another person on he pole directly next to him.
Shawn was about to ask how he got up there so fast but was interrupted by a strike from a bamboo staff to his midsection. All the air was gone from him and he was soon back on the ground. Not exactly a nice landing or a nice start to his new training. "Get up! Get up!" that was all he heard as he tried to catch his breath and get back onto the pole. Every time he got up there came the stick to knock him back to the ground again.

If youre thinking you are looking at a castle, then yes, Id think were on the same page.
"Just making sure you see it too." Streak said to Jorge. Even thought Jorge confirmed that that was in fact a castle not only standing but people were moving in and out of it like it was their support and way of life. Well if we traveled back in time where's the Delorian to get us back? he wondered to himself.
All the things that the Doc had told Marty about interacting with the past seemed to start playing in his head. "Well this can't be good. Streak wasn't sure if he was getting over the shock of seeing an actual pristine castle in front of him of if he was just getting used to being in these weird situations. He remembered the dream he'd had a whole ago about himself in the future. That had been a long time ago but he still remembered bits and pieces of it. That had been pretty weird too.
Yeah maybe you are right Maybe um I dunno, maybe we should find clothes, something so that we dont stick out so much.
"Good idea. But... he thumbed through his wallet. "Where the hell are we going to get medieval clothes. I don't know about you but all I've got on me is like 10 bucks and..." he continued looking, "And a credit card. Somehow I doubt they take credit here."
With that being said Shawn started to head towards the castle. Maybe he'd think of something when they got closer.

Streak looked around for an empty seat. The place was already pretty well stocked with extras and a seat was starting to be hard to come by. He say down at the bar, one of the only available seats left, and waited for the woman to say something.
She never did. In fact she actually zoned out and just kind of stared off into space until Mala Knight brought her back to reality. He just smiled his silvery smile. When they passed out food he got a hamburger and some fries.
The burger was cooked perfectly, in fact he'd even be so bold as to say that it was the best burger he'd had in a long time.
No sooner did he take a bight of his burger than one of the extras that was sitting between him and Mala Knight disappeared with a face that looked like he was about to puke.
This gave him second thought about his food but it was so good he'd deal with any repercussions later. The robotic voiced man slide next to him taking the sick extras spot and spoke. He nodded, because his mouth was currently filled with a fry. Once he'd swallowed he said, "Sure I actually work there."
Pretty soon the director called for quiet on the set and Streak could have sworn that someone had just pushed pause on the section of town he was currently in. People didn't even seem to be moving and NO ONE was talking otherwise they would feel the directors wrath.
As he looked around he saw the man with the mask on eyes change from one color to the next. He would have to bring that up when they were allowed to talk again. All that remains was for the guy to yell action.

Streak was actually enjoying the walk they were taking. Not necessarily because of he company but mainly because he felt like he was in a cleaner place than New York and the feeling of being somewhere clean seemed to revitalize him. He listened to Jorge talk as they continued to walk through the grass. He noted the dirt road they seemed to be somewhat following as their journey continued. It was interesting that there was a dirt road but no people anywhere.
When Jorge came over the hill just shortly before Streak did he was almost run over by Streak himself. Currently he didn't see the giant structure that made Jorge stop so suddenly because as of right now he was getting a very in depth study of the back of his companions head.
"Yo use some break lights if your going to stop suddenly like that." Streak joked, moving to stand next to Jorge. As he did he saw the medieval village come into view.
He was in shock just like Jorge was. There was no sensible reason for this fully fortified place be here in this day and age. Unless they weren't in their day and age. "Hey this may sound like a dumb question but what year do you think it is?"
He'd never even seen a fake castle in real life let alone a real one. This was crazy. The silvermancer began to wonder if they should risk venturing closer or if they should try and go around it. Either decision could have serious consequences. "Is...is that what I think it is?" Streak asked not really believing what was in front of them.
"Maybe we should go in and see if anyone can offer us some help." Shawn suggested. After all they couldn't really get anymore confused than they already were...Could they?

Streak was glad to see that Jorge was just as confused as he was. Until they ran into someone that didn't want to take their money they probably wouldn't get a straight answer. Streak followed Jorge's advice. Not standing around would be a great improvement over their current state.
Going in the other direction sounded even better than just standing around. After a minute or so of traveling Streak realized that he didn't hear the normal hustle and bustle of city traffic. It was even a little eerie how quiet things were. Stream liked nature but this seemed a bit much.
Streak looked at Jorge's shirt as he made an exasperated comment. "Just be glad that it's only the shirt that has holes in it and not you." Sure it wasn't much of a bright side especially considering they didn't know where they were or how they were going to get some replacement clothes.
"Any ideas what city we may actually have ended up in?" Streak was so confused that if they didn't meet someone soon he might just have a conniption.

Streak is there for a second waiting for anyone to say something. No one did. His reply may have come off as a little abrasive but it worked. After she thanked him he simply replied, "Your welcome."
He was about to say more but soon a lady came up looking for extras for some scene. Apparently him and the girl fit what they were looking for. He wasn't quite sure since all they would be doing is making background noise for the scene.
"Sure. I can do that." He hd to resist from laughing outlook at the guy in the mask and robotic voice. Not because his voice sounded funny or the mask looked like it fit him weird but because he had 'battle hardened eyes'.
If that was all it took to look 'battle hardened' then he must have the look of freakin Rambo. Nothing against him. He looked like it. Streak just didn't feel that boxing made you battle hardened. Battles against people trying to kill you made you battle hardened.
Just before he started following the lady he heard the man introduce himself to the girl. Mala knight he'd have to remember that. "I'm Silver Streak but every body calls me Streak." though the Korean boy named Sam, he introduced himself, and Mala Knight the only person he didn't know was the girls name. But there would probably be time for that during the scene.

Streak was glad that Jorge had finally turned back to normal. It was way easier to hold a conversation with someone that could actually talk back. When Jorge slid up next to Streak, and finished getting dressed, he started to explain what he knew.
“I talked with that leader a little but…none of it made sense,†“He said that we were in England and then he just kept going on about under which ‘crown’ I served. It’s like they were really into this Renaissance Faire deal, you know?â€
"Ya it sure seems like their into something weird. I didn't realize people that LARP'd took things so seriously." Streak said before what Jorge had said really sunk in. "Wait did you just say we were in England? So...this isn't the mid west. Man I was WAY off." Streak said with a little chuckle.
Streak looked around as Jorge picked up the arrow that had been hot at him. After he was done looking at it Streak took it and examined it. [color-silver]"Well I hate to say this Jorge but it this arrow is real. It seemed that they're either too into this Renaissance Fair or we've been taken to some place where these people still think that this wold is stuck in the Renaissance age. Ya know like those people that believe it's like 1700 and they're pilgrims or something."[/color]
“I…think maybe we should get walking,†“There has to be other people besides that fun little group. Maybe…I dunno…maybe someone will know what’s going on…â€
There had to be a reason that Jorge wasn't getting any signal. Streak nodded. It was definitely a good idea to not stay here. If anything the bandits would probably come back with more people. "Ya let's get out of here before Robin Hood and his not so merry men come back." He could only hope that they would find someone that could tell them what was going on. Though one thing still puzzled Streak. Even if they had just encountered a group of people LARPing why wouldn't they have just called a time out or something to explain what was going on. And why did they act like they'd never seen a mutant before. Even if they were just Role playing one would think that they at least would act like they weren't so afraid of mutants.
