Mutants (All areas of the application are required, unless marked "if applicable." If they aren't applicable to your character, just leave them blank, but don't delete the section itself—you'll probably find it useful later, once you get RPing.
Things written in parenthesis are notes to help you fill out your character's profile, and don't need to be in the final draft—feel free to delete them before submitting. For example... delete this note!)

He also loves the rain as well as water in general. It makes him happy.

Mutations
Mutation description: Jason has the ability to do two things. One is he can shoot water out of his hands like a jet stream or water hose. He can procure water by extracting moisture from the air forming it in his hands. The other being he can emit a pulse of 10 ft waves of water out around him and in front of him. So he can use it as defense but also offense. He also can select and alter which pressure his water is, from very weak to decently strong pressure. Weak meaning like a water gun, strong meaning like a fire hose. It can knock anyone down and even harm them if he continues to hit them with the strongest pressure. Is stronger in rain and weaker when it’s dry. He also can not drown. He can also surf with the water he creates. It’s his main form of travel when he is on a mission, and his surf board is on his back usually. Weaknesses and Limitations: His weakness is he can only use his pulse waves two times before getting exhausted, when it’s dry he can’t use them at all and is much weaker as opposed to it raining. The pressure from his water is also dependent on the amount of moisture in the air. He can use it in a burning building albeit not as strong depending on where the building is located, but a desert his water would be nonexistent. It would still come out but it would be much more like a water gun. With rain in the air such as a rainstorm he is at his peak power. He can dial his hose up to as strong as possible and emit the waves as well.
History Of Your Character Jason has loved surfing since he was younger when his dad took him out to surf for the first time, since then he has loved it.
He surfed throughout his childhood even winning tournaments and making a thing of it. However, there was another reason why Jason felt at home in the water, too at home. He didn’t know what it was, and he hasn’t had any issues. Except for one day, he was being picked on by a kid he beat while surfing, Jason was approached by the kid and his two lackeys on the beach, he punched Jason in the face and then all of a sudden water began forming where Jason was laying. A massive wave of water hit the beach. The two kids ran and then the bully got swept underneath the water.
Despite being bullied, Jason didn’t hesitate to dive into the water and save the kid. He pulled him to shore and the water dissipated beside what had already been in the ocean. The kid freaked out and reported Jason. That night he was visited by a representative of the school of mutants who was responsible for creating the X-Men discuss shelter and teachings for Jason to try to control his powers. He had managed to get a hold of his powers with the help of his teachers and was trusted to join the X-Men. He goes by the hero name Aquatik. On his off time, he volunteers at the local fire station as a firefighter.
Roleplay What’s your OOC/Discord alias you’ll be using?: TIPSI JEDI Where did you learn about this site?: (If you were referenced by a friend, what's their alias?) Disboard Do you have any other characters on MRO, if so who: No Sample RP:
Ring. Ring. Ring. Sirens began to blare, waking Jason and the rest of the fire house up. Jason snapped awake and immediately hopped out of his bunk into his big yellow boots. That shift had been particularly busy, the crew had yet to truly get a good night's rest. Fire. It’s always a fire.
Once fully dressed in all of the proper PPE one could imagine, Jason hopped into the back of the truck engine. The sirens of the truck blared as it departed the station. Jason put on his helmet as they neared the call.
The firefighter who was next to Jason in the truck called Brooks was trying to shout over the sirens and loud engine to given Jason some advice.
“It gets easier I promise!”
Jason looked over at Brooks and smiled.
“I bet it does. That’s alright, it’s honorable.”
“What is?” Brooks asked.
“What we do, it’s honorable. And I’m glad to lose sleep rescuing people any day.”
Brooks smiled as the truck stopped. The crew hopped out of the truck and the lieutenant of the truck began delegating things for all of them to do. Jason was tasked to go in and locate any survivors with Brooks. The building on fire was a two story apartment building, with multiple families trapped inside.
Jason never revealed the fact that he was special. He wouldn’t be accepted nor would he probably be able to get the job he has.
Jason put on his breathing mask and grabbed a halligan and ran into the building.
Jason and Brooks announced themselves as they went into each burning room.
“FIRE DEPARTMENT CALL OUT!!”
After getting several families out, Jason thought they were done when he heard a little girl scream and shout.
Brooks didn’t hear it. As Brooks was exiting the building, he was missing his partner. The lieutenant asked him where Sage was.
Jason went back for the girl. He couldn’t leave her or anyone for that matter.
He shouted again trying to locate the source of the scream.
“FIRE DEPARTMENT CALL OUT!”
The girl screamed again and it was getting harder to see and breathe for Jason. He found the room where the shouts were coming from. He told the girl to step back and he kicked the door down backwards.
He found the girl who was scared and crying. He crouched next to her.
“Hey kiddo. Everything will be okay, I’ll make sure you get out of here. Sound good?”
The girl nodded and stopped crying.
The flames inched closer and trapped Jason and the girl in the room with no way out. The door was caught in a wall of fire and they were too high up to escape via the window. Jason had no choice but to use his gift.
“Trust me kiddo, okay?”
The girl nodded and sat behind Jason who was standing in the way of the fire using his body as the last bastion before it got to the girl.
All of a sudden water began to flow out of his hands. Acting as a water hose. He dialed the pressure up and began to douse the fire until it was put out.
Jason turned around to get the girl who wasn’t afraid at all, she was smiling. That made Jason smile, he wasn’t used to that. Normally he was called a freak and hated, but she didn’t do that.
Jason picked the girl up and fled the burning building returning the girl to her parents. The girl hugged Jason and gave him her teddy bear, and after getting scolded by worry from his lieutenant, they returned to the firehouse to sleep once more.
Jason assumed the girl kept his secret. His crew was suspicious because of the survival rate in that room being so low but no one questioned it, a building full of families was rescued.
Jason gripped the bear tightly as he drifted off to sleep.
