The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

All the boy could do is watch as the glowing light seemed to give him a sudden boost in energy which slowly faded as the light did. While the boy was small and in a wheel chair he attempted to catch the healer when he seemed to develop sea legs and not the sturdy kind.
“Herc!” the giant across the room who was busy throwing himself a pity party snapped to attention and with incredible speed and grace closed the distance to the two of them and Elizabeth who seemed to have the same idea in mind. Steady the healer. Instead he focused on William seeing as Elizabeth was already tending to Doc.
“No.... I.... don’t think so?” William looked a little shocked at the question. He didn’t think he was one and as far as Hercules could tell he didn’t think so either. “I mean... I could be? I never checked really.” the boy said putting his hand to his chin thinking on it more. ”No, I don’t believe he is... I have only formed a pact with two ‘mutants’ over the centuries and the power they give me is different....” Hercules said thinking on the subject as well. The term ‘mutant’ was a foreign one to the god as well, he was still trying to get used to it.
”Do you’re powers not work on mutants?” Hercules asked curiously. He was supposed to be the healer of the school full of them so either he wasn’t a very good healer or something was wrong with his master. ”Did it not work?” his jaw clenched looking from Doc to Elizabeth then to his master who still remained sitting wondering if he was a mutant.

She sat interested in the terms. For him they not only told his prospective masters what he was about but they also revealed what they were about as well. She was interested in knowledge. Hercules had acquired centuries of it and was willing to share it with her if she proved herself to be worthy.
The god held up one of his fingers, then folded his arms, ”Of the three first and foremost is the protection of my masters.” the stipulations often changed when he was dealing with different masters. Personalities differed and their quests differed so it was important to focus on different goals.
”Meaning while I serve you I also serve another. I will do my best to manage my time accordingly but there will be times when I will not be able to answer your summons. That being said I will drop everything if your life is in danger. I will protect my masters with my life. I need you to understand the majority of my power comes from my current master and he needs me.” he didn’t want to give out more information on William than he had to. Not till she agreed to his terms.
The god let the words sink in then held up a two fingers. ”Next, I’m a god. A protector of mortals, it is who I am and I will not pretend to be something I am not. So you will allow me to protect mortals who can not protect themselves.” Hercules paused again recounting what other stipulations he deemed most important. Protecting William came first then other mortals. The woman who was sitting across for him would be put at the top of the list as well.
His three fingers popped up then he folded his arms again, ”and finally don’t abuse my power. I will protect you but I do not wish to harm those I deem innocent.” he mentioned he had the power to sever the pact they formed. The third stipulation was more of a warning what would happen. The breaking of the bond was never a pleasant experience for anyone.
”Do you find these terms agreeable?” the god asked grinning and now flexing a bit more than he was earlier.

The Healer and Elizabeth ruled out a psychic messing with William’s mother which the God of strength was happy about. The ancient hero did not fair well when fighting psychics, they were a weakness he didn’t like to advertise. They made him think too much.
”You are too kind.” Hercules finally said stepping out of the way for the healer to approach. The generosity the healer was showing was enough to bring a tear to his eye. Mortals never ceased to amaze him. This time it was from the kindness the healer was showing.
Hercules didn’t comment on the praying. While yes it often did help other mortals, any prayers on the god were wasted. His pantheon abandoned him long ago and he personally didn’t think there would be any other gods to help him. Not with his curse branded onto his flesh the way it was. Mentally slumping into his thoughts while his young master reached up to take DocProf’s hands.
”Apologies... striding over to the chair he destroyed her piled it into a corner and bent some of the metal into a ball so it would be easier to clean up. Keeping his back turned to the healer and his master he saw a small glow of light on the white walls he was staring at. ‘Please heal him...’ was all the god could think now ashamed for getting his master’s hopes up for his mother.
The hand did little to distract Hercules, no sympathy could make this better. The demi-god looked to who didn’t respond but his face seemed less bright as if suddenly all the joy left the boy. Hercules eyes started to well up while a faint glow started to overtake his body from under his clothing. It was almost what the boy was feeling was being channeled into the god.
“....... I see.....” the boy finally said. William exhaled loudly then looked down making sure not to show too many emotions. Meanwhile Hercules started to cry. ”What do you mean?” his voice low trying not to let it break. Nothing about the man broke, not even his voice. ”Neither injury or illness?” what else could it be? Mortals don’t typically just not wake from slumber so why was she like this? Did he have to travel to Morpheus realm again? No... that wouldn’t help. Hercules didn’t know what was wrong with her but knew that wouldn’t solve anything.
The god’s hands clenched into fists. He wanted to hit something, feel something that wasn’t this sadness. William.... Hercules gave the boy hope just to have it crash into another wall. ”William.... I’m sorry....” the god of willpower looked around making sure to avoid eye contact with anyone. Finding the closest thing he could that was not important he found another chair lifted it and ripped it in two then tossed it harmlessly into the corner of the room.
“It’s fine... I don’t know why I got my hopes up. It’s like I’m cursed or something.” the words caught Hercules’s attention. This all started when the demigod was stolen. When William took the manacle of power. Hercules was only summoned after the care wreck and fire that tried to kill all in the vehicle. If not for him William and his mother would have gone the way of his father. ”A curse then? That’s the only way to describe it!”
The giant strode past Liz and Doc and took a knee next to William. Even kneeling next to the boy Hercules still towered over him. ”William....” the boy didn’t respond. ”William! Look at me!” the boy finally did. ”I promise you, on the river styx.” Hercules body glowed even more as he tried to quell his rage. ”I will lift this curse and you will have your mother back! No matter how long it takes! I might not be able to break my curse but I shall break this one!” tears still streaked down his face and there was a moment where all they did was stare at each other.
William was the first to break eye contact by averting his gaze to his mom. “It’s.... okay.... I believe you....” Hercules put a large hand on his masters shoulder and gave it a small sympathetic squeeze. His glowing subsided and he stood. Hercules was no longer crying. “We have to pay for that chair now....” he said forcing a sad quick chuckle.
”I’m sorry the trip was a waste of your time healer! Elizabeth.... thank you... we know now it isn’t in the world of medicine we find our answers but magic.” he said confidently. Some might think he was jumping to conclusions but Hercules had always been bold.
”Is it still possible to look into my master’s” “Will’s” his master interjected clear the boy didn’t like to be called master, ”Master William’s legs?” he asked looking to Doc hoping that his legs weren’t curse as well.
The demi-god rarely concerned himself with fashion, it was one of the things he just had to adapt to depending on the era he was summoned. Hawaiian shirts so far were his favorite, they were colorful and he never felt bad ripping them. However if the god was going to meet William’s mother for the first time he wanted to look his best. Maybe Elizabeth being there influenced his wardrobe of choice as well.
”One of my new trials.” he smirked and winked to the animal controller. ”and it is a shame, adversaries push me further to be the best I can be. They always prevent me with opportunities to show me what I am capable of. Fortunately living in the city has presented me with opportunities. The city is certainly chaotic at times.”
The elevator shook as Hercules laughed, being in the confined space didn’t help anyone with enhanced hearing or regular hearing. ”It truly was a tragedy what I had to do to those birds. However I couldn’t let them continue to slaughter the livestock and children like they had been. They were beautiful creatures, aggressive and highly territorial but beautiful none the less.” he said his eyes welling up recalling a few of the creatures last moments, the smashing of eggs.... the blood on his club....
Tears streaked freely, his voice didn’t change though. ”..... there are Gryphon’s in this era?” the god sighed loudly, ”Then I failed one of my trials... You shall have to point me to his nest.” he didn’t ask about how she dated a Gryphon. His father often shapeshifted into other creatures to seduce women. A gryphon would not have been a form of his father. A royal pet maybe but not a form of his choice.
Hercules’s eyes shifted from Elizabeth to his master and the healer DocProf and watched making sure not to interject into their conversation. WIlliam was an inquisitive boy, this was just part of his process. “Regeneration!?!?” his voice was loud and full of surprise, so much so the god chuckled. ”I trust them with my life.” the god added. ”Elizabeth here was the one who talked me out of robbing a bank, and from what I have seen the Healer has an important role healing all of the children at the school for mutants I told you about. Lovely campus.”
“Oh! She’s the one?” William’s face seemed to be brighter than it was clearly more excited about the events were about to unfold. The doors opened and they were greeted by the familiar smell of cleaning supplies. The wheels squeaked once more and the god led the way to the room where William’s mother resided. A orderly was busy refilling the water in one of the many flower vases that littered the room. Flowers that William knew his mother appreciated.
The orderly smiled at the two familiar faces, “No change, though I could have sworn I saw her fingers move when I changed her pillow.” William’s expression saddened a little and Hercules started to cry silently again. The god didn’t say anything but wheeled his master over to his mother and then took a few steps back to their guests. ”This is William’s mother, please do your best Docprof.” William reached up and grabbed his mother’s hand and held it tight. “Mom.... Herc found you a healer....”

Everyone except the smaller intoxicated fellow called him a friend. Two out of three... clearly this was the place he belonged. Everyone seemed so helpful and friendly. ”Ha! Please then, Another!” the demi-god proclaimed ignoring the drunk for a moment who seemed to be eyeing the other tall gentleman. Hercules smirked, the drunk one could not take him either. The confidence he currently displayed said more about him than his words.
The offer of another beverage seem to intrigue the drunk one. His eyes narrowed on the woman and gave a thumbs up then looked to the man offering a more secluded show. “Oh that’s the plan! Just waiting on my girl to come find me! Told her yesterday I’d be back tonight!” he said brimming with pride.
The complexities of his statement were lost on Hercules. This was the first time he had entered an establishment like this but he had seen them during his show binging and movie binging. You paid for the women or men to entertain. The more you paid them the more time they entertained you. Similar to the brothels the god of strength frequented over the centuries. That being said.... he paid his woman... how did they make money? Shouldn’t he want her to spend time with others to take their money? This era confused him at times, but he was learning.
”I am told they are the best seats in the house!” Hercules agreed and then pointed in the direction of his current employer who was sitting with a few women at the table. ”My boss said they were perfect for private shows!” he lowered his finger then questioned, ”Why stop at one? I was told if you wanted it was possible to have multiple women!” he was also told that by his employer. Though Hercules was starting to question his employers motives.
The drunk squinted and fumbled into his wallet. Hercules lost interest in him now and responded to the woman who was offering more drinks. ”Does it not make it more of a challenge though?” Hercules wasn’t much of a planner. His response to problems were to hit something, and if that didn’t work hit it harder.
The demi-god's attention shifted as two men in suits approached the table of his employer and sat on either side of the women. He locked eyes with his employer and was about to stand. That was until, he caught the ‘steady’ motion from the employer. Hercules nodded in response and adjusted in his seat so he was turned more to those he was talking to, who also happen to be in front of his employer.

Elbow grease took on a new meaning when the Hercules was involved. The prince of powers bare chest glowed as he scrubbed the frying pan that was left over from his breakfast after everyone ate the waffles and left.
The god beamed when he got rid of some previous smudge that was too much for the dishwasher. Looking over to said appliance he beamed, ”Most powerful... Ha! I bested you again.” there was a ringing. It wasn’t the kitchen appliance retorting to him. No it was his phone, from a new number his phone didn’t know.
Could it be!?!? Was it.... A potential new master calling him? The sudden sense of joy caused him to reshape the frying pan he was holding and he frowned at his reflection disappointed. Dropping the pan on the counter he fumbled for the cellular device with his wet hands then hit the answer button. He took a deep breath and his glowing faded.
”Ha Ha! Yes! Y-you saw my ad!?!?” he boomed as he responded failing to conceal his joy. The idea of gathering another master was one he didn’t think much on till he started to notice the toll it took on his current master. It just meant he needed more masters to draw less on his current one. That or stop saving people and as a protector of all mortals that wasn’t an option. He could not deny who he was and why should he?
”While I can’t see you, look no further! You have called me! Hercules! I’m the one looking for a new master! Or two!” he said relishing the idea of pulling even less power from his current teenaged master.
”May I have you’re name?” he asked suddenly not sure how to proceed. He never took out a news ad before and the last caller just breathed heavily into the phone refusing to offer a location so Hercules could come save them. The current voice at least sounded not to be out of breath.
“Nice to meet you...” the woman was almost too cheerful, William smiled and kept his thoughts to himself however those thoughts sometimes bled into Hercules’s thoughts. This time enough for the hulk of a man to put one of his massive fists onto the boys shoulders to reassure him that he was there and everything was going to turn out fine. At least that was what they all currently hoped.
The more the god of strength was around the healer or as he liked to be called, ‘DocProf’ the more and more the ancient hero liked the guy. His willingness to help and his attitude easily made him one of his favorite mortals of the era.
”Good evening Doloras!” Hercules boomed to the Leader of the Nurses all that happened in these halls she knew about so when Hercules and William wheeled by with two others in toe she smiled, “Good evening to you two, have some friends from out of town to visit your mother? How sweet! Oh and Hercules, if I find out you went shirtless again in one of my wards we will have some words! Have a nice night!” and with that the woman strode off revealing more to the other three than the prince of power wanted to share.
The squeaking of the wheels meant they were moving forward. Looking over to Elizabeth the god cleared his throat as if this conversation had nothing to do with what was just said, ”Thank you! It was tailored for me!” he said proudly before returning to her question, ”A bit more snug than them for sure. However I’m told they are making a comeback with Atlantis back in the picture in the fashion world. As they should, they flow and breath even if the material was a bit scratchy! Personally I was always more fond of my Olympic wear. Far easier to intimidate you’re adversaries in the pits!” he said smirking. Yes, he was implying his birthday suit.
The elevator doors opened and shut behind them then opened again, William seemed more nervous than usual keeping quite. The teenager often had questions, he was an inquisitive lad after all. ”Some things I’m glad to see haven’t made a comeback though... like Gryphons and Stymphalian birds. Though I did meet someone with poisoned wings. She was no match for me though!” Hercules boasted hunching over in the metallic cube as it rode upwards to the more private floors.
“How long have you been a doctor?” William spoke quickly to DocProf still not sure what was going to happen. It was clear his young master didn’t want to lose this ‘coma’ and if the god could help it he wouldn’t!
The god smiled when the crow accepted his offer to dinner. Usually it would be one of his insults to dine on or with a crow but the was pushed away when he recalled what Elizabeth looked like in her human form. To think it would be his first official dinner in this era. The prince of Olympus could not wait to tell his master.... his master.... ”William will be cross...” he said more to himself watching the crow fly away.
----
The journey was a short one, filled with one apartment fire and a bus that refused to stop until the demi-god arrived. No bus was a match for him no matter how many small children resided inside when Hercules demanded it to stop it stopped. His clothing however was badly damaged and he needed a shower if he was going to meet Elizabeth and the healer at the hospital. Though when he stopped in the entrance way distracted by his bare chest in a mirror he wondered if it be better to go topless. He was an impressive sight.
“What are you doing?” the squeaking of the wheels revealed his master was home. ”Master!” “Stop calling me that!” ”William! I have wonderful news!” he said beaming with pride, so much so his body started to glow till he caught his magnificent reflection again. Distracted by clearing some of the soot from a few of his tattoos he continued, ”I stopped a fire! Then saved a bus full of children!”
“.... so a light day for you?” the teenager smirked leaning back in his chair glad for the distraction his eyes were heavy and he looked exhausted. Hercules made note to make him sleep before the hospital, clearly the boy was up all night reading again. No doubt looking for a cure for his mother. Tears started to well up and Hercules, ”Even better.... I found THE healer!”
----
The black sedan rolled up to the hospital front and Hercules exited from behind the driver seat and quickly went to the trunk and removed the wheel chair. Snapping it open with a single massive hand he rolled it around to the other side and ‘helped’ William into his seat. In reality all he did was make sure the young master didn’t fall. The teenager was stubborn after all. The squeaking of the wheels meant the chair was in motion again. The god and the boy were both sharply dressed. Hercules, in an attempt to impress both William’s mother and Elizabeth for different reasons.
”Healer! Elizabeth! Allow me to introduce you to my mas-” “Stop doing that! I can introduce myself!” rubbing the back of his head with a massive eye roll William waved to the pair. He didn’t offer a handshake. His manners were still a work in progress. ”Apologies, William. You have told me.” he smirked then rolled his master over to the pair who were waiting.
”I’m a god, most of the things I do can be described as bold.” he said truthfully then looked down to the talking crow perched on his arm. The bird was eyelevel with him and he often made eye contact often trying to see if he could gaze into the eyes of the bird to see for any sign of Elizabeth. The woman was inquisitive and intelligent and from what he had seen from her before kind. Meaning she was exactly who the demi-god liked surrounding himself with so while he would usually boast his status as god he was surprisingly calm when she said she didn’t believe him.
”It’s fine, my status as a god is unaffected by anyone who doubts me so I shall have to once again prove who I am. I relish any opportunity to show my abilities and impress any doubters.” the Demigod scoffed again for the second time today as they walked, ”Tweleve?” he repeated back chuckling. ”I’m always impressed they only thought twelve was enough to etch into history. Though they thought Homer’s stories were long so I guess I could see why....”
”No, twelve was the number they shared with the rest of the world, to the gods my trials were far greater in number. I didn’t have to just impress.... her.” he didn’t say Hera’s name, he was having a good day and his grudge ran deep for that woman who did everything in her power to both kill him and eventually strip him of his godly throne. ”Each god in my pantheon had several tests for me. Her’s were just the most.... frustrating.” he didn’t elaborate the twelve that he knew of were impressive feats but he didn’t thing they were the best ones.
Whether it was the bird itself or the woman controlling it Hercules was more than happy to talk more about himself. ”I’ll gladly tell you more! Perhaps over dinner?” the giant asked the bird as the large wooden doors of the mansion burst open as Hercules gave them a push making sure not to break anything else. Ducking down under the door frame and exiting the mansion, ”If only to feed your curiosity of in way of thanks for helping me and my master.” he smiled then looked upwards to the blue sky.
There were already a few children near the craters he put in the ground with his fight from earlier. One of the children created a jet of water filling the hole. ”This is truly a magical place. I’m glad to see that the gifted and cursed alike have a place to call home.” his eyes watered up recalling the many ‘mutant’ friends he had in life, the ones who had dreamed about this and struggled to achieve some place similar to this. How their sacrifices weren’t for nothing. There was a place where future generations thrived. ”What a time to be alive.”
”Well technically my master is. I’m hunted by proxy. For no harm shall come to William when I still draw breath on this mortal plane!” he said correcting himself and not elaborating on who was hunting them. Hercules probably said more than William wanted him to say. Such was the curse of a teenager.
”I’ve already stopped to attempts on his life. The first brought me to this time and the second was from a Samuri with the power of thunder and lighting.” he said downplaying the previous threat. He almost lost his form after that fight. ”He was formidable but club and I were up to the challenge. Attacking the son of the Zeus with cheap parlor tricks.” he scoffed then looked back to the bird and offered his arm hoping Liz would get the message. The demi-god was leaving.
”I look forward to meeting you at the hospital!” he said with a massive wave of his hand to Doc before turning and crunching on some glass on the way out. The demi-god felt like he was floating. He looked down realizing his body just decided on glowing instead. ”It truly is an auspicious day!” he boomed.
The ice tunnel that led the way to the infirmary seemed to be stronger than before cold permeated the air. If he was anyone else he’d be shivering however the glowing of his tattoo’s gave him warmth and he was too excited for the nights events.
”You’d know it as Ancient Greece.... you asked when I was from. I don’t know the exact date I was born. I was more concerned about becoming a god.” he spoke plainly. The crow, or rather Elizabeth earned the truth and so far she struck him as the type of person he could be honest with.

As a god who had lived for centuries judging others became second nature. More so when it came to new potential masters. Hercules didn’t verbalize it but there were certain people he wouldn’t become bonded to, not again. Those were also the few times he had broken the bond himself.
”Oh?” he asked taking a few steps closer then lowering himself till he was eye level with the woman. The giant didn’t blink but stared at her as if he was peering into her soul. She was new to magic. He was not. She’s been master to many. He has not, his role for the rest of time is that of a servant. Shackled from the curse.
”So this then would be a quest for knowledge? Hmmm?” Hercules smirked and stood up and turned away from her, ”I’d say Athena would be more appropriate for that role.” the goddess of wisdom from his pantheon was one Hercules held in high regards. It takes someone of great patience to sit still and read all day.
The god smirked. ”You flatter me.” he said clearing his throat then folding his arms. ”I have three stipulations with our contract on our end. Non-negotiable. If you break them I will sever the bond myself.” it wasn’t a threat. It was a warning. ”Agree to them and You will have my power!” he said glowing now tapping into his abilities. It was more for show but she didn’t need to know that. The god knew it was intimidating.

”Ha Ha! YES!!!!!” Hercules shouted and jumped throwing a fist into the air at the response of the healer. It was more than what he could have hoped for! A healer for his master’s mother! This was great news! He looked forward to telling his master! William would be so..... pleased.... The giant landed with a thud still beaming. ”....... My master does not know I’m here.... Nor will he be happy that I mentioned his mother.... I just needed a healer....” he didn’t want to get William’s hopes up. While the child might not make a big deal out of it he knew what it would do to him if there was no chance that the healer could wake his mother.
”I can do two of those things!” Hercules said his shoulders slumping a little. ”I’d prefer to escort you, for we are being hunted and I’d prefer to play things close to the chest.” his muscles flexed. ”It might not give you ample time to study her case but...” he frowned and looked to the crow that was the former Lizard queen and now the crow queen. ”Please keep this information secret. I will reveal it all to you....” his face turning more into a chiseled and stone like.
Hercules recited the things needed for Doc to do his own investigation, her name, location and his masters number. ”We will meet you there. It’s safer that way and I know my master will be cross if she awakes and he isn’t around.” he said puffing up his chest. It was more to get him motivated to confront his master with the information today.
He didn’t need to bow but he did so again, ”I thank you healer. Let it be known even if you can’t help them you have favor with me. Should you need anything.... don’t hesitate to ask!” not wanting to dilly dally he stood and looked to the bird. ”You will be joining us yes?” he asked. ”In you’re human form?”

The giant stood up at the question flexing his muscles in all his glory not understanding her meaning of jumping ship. He had jumped from ships many times in his long, long life. ”Can’t say I’ve jumped a ship for better pay. Slaying a sea beast is far more likely.” he said pointing to a few monsters on one of his arms. It glowed when he pointed it out.
”A part time job?” Hercules asked, his eyebrows raising. It was clear she was wanting to hire him after dealing with the model who wasn’t a nuclear reactor. Still a shame. It would have given him an opportunity to show his might on a foe he has not yet fought. ”One of monetary exchange.” he did need money. His master was telling him to get a job.
”Oh! That type of payment!?!” he said snapping his fingers, it was with the glowing arm so it was louder than it should have been with the power channeled into it. ”But of course! Seven is the most I have had before. Though it was for a very short time!” the Demigod boasted. ”Though it has been some hundreds of years.” his glowing stopped at the idea of taking on another master.
”You mean you of course?” he asked looking down at her checking her out there wasn’t anyone else around and she was capable having silenced him earlier. ”Tell me... What would you like to accomplish with me as your god?” he asked curiously placing a hand on his chin. This was part of the gods process. Question what they wanted and who they were.
”Can’t wait....” if she was in sight or in range of his thermal vision she would have gotten a chill sent her way instead he just held his tongue. ”I will gladly regal you with my exploits!” Hercules boasted. ”It truly was out of character for me!” he said gleaming in the infirmary lights. So much so he couldn’t see Sam roll his eye.
”Maybe another time. Doc you good?” Sam asked before getting a nod and decide it was best to watch from a far. Sam stood up and walked out before giving the big guy one last stare down before crunching glass under his feet as he walked out.
”Farwell cold one! May we meet in battle again! It was quite the workout!” he said giving the cold one one last thumbs up before turning back to the healer and the raven. ”New era. I was summoned to this time a few months ago.” Hercules said as if that solved her question. Mortals. Always so inquisitive.
”and the...” he leaned in again and spoke softly saying the curse again, ”A coma.” he stood tall again and spoke louder, ”Is the disease. For they can’t heal her by means of modern medicine. A few of the staff members even asked if I wanted to pray with them to heal her! Can you believe it? Me a god! Praying to another god. One that hasn’t been seen for centuries. Sure I’d ask favor from Apollo my brother of his son and my nephew Asclepius but they too apparently haven’t been seen in centuries.” he said with a loud sigh. His shoulders sagged, ”Please of mighty healer! I beg you. Heal my masters mother and if you see fit please heal my master!”
Hercules didn’t like to bow but this was a fine time to do so. He was asking the world of the healer, for he knew not of his powers and what was required to do such. The giant dropped to his knees in the glass and bowed the way he would to his father, or another being more powerful.
