The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Sonya spat forth what she remembered already telling Syn as well as new little details. One such detail being her form in the camps. Apparently that form was named Doug, but she wasn't getting far with him in the camp. Also, not having the mutant database made the girl a little displeased but she was reassured that attempts were being made. So, she would give her new spy the benefit of the doubt and allow her to keep trying. She didn't know about another set of mutant twins though.
"They run a flower shop and they are drug sellers? Did you happen to see what their mutations were? I'm not interested in the drug portion but the flower shop could potentially be used as a front for other things." Anyone looking at Syn could tell she had the gears in her head rolling with ideas.
Then things got a little strange as Teresa and Sonya had a bit of a childish verbal exchange. This was followed by her brother inquiring about the package Sonya had brought with her. Syn pondered playing the 'I'm the boss and you don't need to know' role but she wasn't sure how he'd take that and she didn't want to be stuckin the void forever. "I had her bring it because if she were to have shown up and stated she had a package for you or I then I'm sure Hunters men would've been suspicious if she wasn't actually carrying something. Props aren't just for television and movies ya know."
Seeing a ghostly Teresa along with Sonya made Syn wonder about the void. It was only her second time within the space but it didn't cease to amaze her. She was glad it was safe here with Sonya's identity being rather exposed.
Sonya addressed Syn and the girl wondered if she caught a bit of uneasyness in Sonya's voice. Maybe it was the fact of being in the void. That would be a very good reason for her tone. Perhaps she had some not so pleasant news to relay to Syn. Hopefully it was the being in the void bit.
"So far that would seem to be the case. I'm pleased to see you were able to get here. Do you have any new information?" Syn was right to business as she had lots of things going on in her mind, but she wanted any updates from Sonya.
Hearing some of Hunter's gaurds talk about a man that could only be described as her brother. They go on to mention the behemoth had cleared the way for himself and a female he was walking with. Hearing this Syn approached the group of men. "What did this female look like and where did you see them?"
The guards turn to look at who was speaking to them. The figure in front of them matches that of someone Hunter seems to have warned all his personnel about. They almost take a step back. Seeing this Syn smiles but she wants information right now. Play time would have to wait...for now. "What did the woman look like and where did you see them?"
One of the men finally speaks up. The woman he describes sounds alot like teresa. "They were going to the canteen last we saw." The man spoke with some distrust in his voice, but Syn simply smiled back. "Thank you boys. See you around sometime."
Upon entering the canteen the girl spotted her brother with an open portal. She acknowledged him without a word and proceeded to enter the void. Hopefully Abyss had already convinced Teresa to enter as well.
The chair that Syn was sitting in moved slightly as Kazs' blade stuck into it. She could feel something touching her neck. Grabbing the handle and pulling the weapon out of the chair she listened to the man speak.
Anger was swelling up inside of her like molten lava in a volcano. First it was the knife, but that didn't impress her. Then he raised his finger like he was counting to a 2 year old. Finally he blasted the girl with his comment about not thinking of the bigger picture.
There was a moment when her brother gave Kaz a warning of his own. That had made Syn smile. It was good to know she could still count on her big brother if she needed to. However, when she looked back at Kaz the smile vanished and her eyes narrowed.
Syn rammed the blade into the table nearly to the hilt. She then bent the handle back and forth until it broke off. "Oops, I think your cheap toy broke," she said with a false smile. "You don't impress me with your tricks Kaz. I do think about the big picture more than you know." Looking to her brother for a moment she continued. "Yes, you're right about one thing. Yourself and my brother are much more suited for smashing things and such. I also know it doesn't take much brain power to think about how to crush someone's skull."
Syn gestured toward Dorian. "Don't you think Dorian has already thought of how to increase the mutant population? Don't you know he has scientists of his own working on such ideas? Maybe you should stick to babysitting your so called spy that you have at Xavier's Mansion." Syn waited for a reaction from either Kaz or Dorian.
Syn sat down and listened to Dorian's idea. The first part of the plan sounded fine. The second part of the plan sounded like alot of work though. Who would run the camps? Who would watch over the sick humans?
When Kaz spoke about his idea Syn's sharp tongue couldn't hold itself back. "I think someone's already planning on doing some breeding. Just not with a human." She waited a moment as some of the others gave her a strange look. "I don't like the idea of breeding camps either. So with that I agree with isabel and my brother."
Looking to Abyss she thought about his idea for using humans as a worker force. "I do like my brother's idea for having those humans who are willing to have mutant's in power become a worker force. They could also be used as guinea pigs with any mutants who wish to join us. Any mutants who join us and who might recieve enhanced powers from our extract of Jack's mutation could test their abilities on the humans."
Dorian's response was more pleasnat than Syn was expecting, but then she was still trying to figure the man out. "We're in a bit of a pause as it were. We're unsure of what direction to go next. We have suspitions of an X-Men investigation so we have an idea that we're being watched." Syn looked at the other members for a moment. "We would like to know what your full out plans are. I for one think we have reached that time for you to tell us."
Syn's eyes widened as the doors flung open and slammed against the walls. There in the doorway stood a figure she hand't expected to see. "Dorian!" She stood up from her chair and stared at him. There was a brief pause before she regained her compossure. "We were just discussing what we should do next." She wasn't sure if she should ask her next question but she did it anyway. "Where have you been?"
Kaz gestured to the red and black haired girl since she had all the answers about KP at the moment. "Well, I don't think any of us know Dorian's full plan but I do know that he has a great dislike for humans and those who oppose him." Syn looked around at the others. She watched their expressions for a moment before going on.
"What we learned is that Jack's power has a huge impact on other mutants." Syn gestured to the large screen on the wall as she hit the play button. Footage of the mutants reactions started to play. The most profound ones being Sentinel and Iris even though she cocooned herself for the most part. "These two had an impressive reaction. The male was shooting shards of crystal everywhere while Iris reacted violently when the human tried to converse with her and move her." Just then they watched as Iris sent the human flying against the wall and leaving a blood spot.
"Now, I do know that Dorian seemed to have an idea of mutant supremacy over the lesser homosapiens. I also know that we'd have to go against the X-Men at some point or another. Personally, I wouldn't mind that at all."
Syn watched Kaz enter the room. She didn't look at anyone else even though her brother was speaking at the moment. She waited for Kaz to sit down and finish his comment. "No, you haven't missed much Kaz. We've only been waiting for you before starting." Even though Syn is you she sure knew how to have a forked tongue.
Straightening up she again looked at everyone. "I've called this meeting to discuss ideas of what our plan should be for the captive mutants and Jack. I'd like to hear your ideas."
Syn watched and listened to her brother talk to Kaz. In a way it was almost comical watching him try not to crush the tiny phone. "What do you mean dropping Nicki off? Dropping her off where and what is he doing with her?" Syn wasn't liking this already.
Syn suddenlt felt rather stupid for her previous mid set. She had so much on her mind that she completely forgot about the guest comment about girls waiting. "Where is Kaz anyways? I haven't seen him lately." Syn looked at both Isabel and her brother. "Have either of you seen him?"
The conversation between Syn and Isabel was interrupted as Abyss cam storming in. Ranting and raving about something. "What in the world are you talking about brother? What two don't you like and what about girls waiting?" That last part she could only assume was referring to herself and Isabel. Syn narrowed her eyes at her big brother. She had never been affraid of him and she had the attitude to stand up to him.
It had been a long time since Syn had seen Isabel. She had a flashback to when they fought the cops just outside of Sanctuary. The thought made her smile a bit. Syn watched the other girl make her way to a chair and make herself comfortable. She also saw a cat trailing close behind.
"Nice to see you again Isabel. It's been awhile since you've been around. I see you have a friend there with you as well." She leaned over to the side to get a better look at the cat then sat back up.
Taking a sip of her water she nodded at Isabels question. "Yeah I've been placed in second in command and so I'm in charge until Dorian returns from where ever he took off to. If he returns that is." Reaching upwards Syn stretched for a couple seconds. "Since we're still waiting for my brother and Kaz why don't you tell me what you've been up to."
After giving Lisa her instructions to find the other members of The Order Syn made her way to the War Room. Making a quick stop to get herself some water first. Once in the War Room she pulled up the recorded data on the two remaining captives and how they reacted when Jack was near. These two should make things interesting enough she thought. Syn then sat in one of the rolling chairs and leaned back while putting her feet on the edge of the table in the middle of the room. Now she just had to wait for her comrades to arrive.
After Abyss and one of the other mutants complained about being bored and wanting some action Mr. King addressed the gathering of mustants. He stated that we were heading out very soon, tonight infact. Next he instructed everyone to follow him. Mr. King took the small army to a vehicle bay where two strange vehicles were waiting. He then began explaining the vehicles and what was in them. Syn was rather excited to hear that each of them would get body armor. This will really help out she thought as she stepped up to be scanned and fitted with her own armor. She felxed and twisted herself and found that she was barely resticted at all in her movements. This brought a wicked smile to the young girls face. She then grabbed one of the pistols and a few magazines of ammo. This will help out too since i don't have any blaster type powers.
Turning back to Mr. King she looked herself over once more then back to their newly designated leader. "How do I look?"
