The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Some nominees haven't been included because they have decided to not take up on the offer, but do appreciate it, and also because I am not allowing people to be M.O.M. again within FOUR months of winning previously.

I didn't think it would ever come to this, but hey... we all know what happens when we assume. Soooooo...
There is NO reason to second and third and fourth and so on and so forth a nominee. It just adds to my having to read another reply about a person being nominated. If you would like to tell someone your appreciation, do it in their Member's Page or a PM and if they win, their Shrine.
If someone nominates you, please don't feel now you must nominate that person back if they don't deserve it. And deserve it meaning... good posting, nice artwork, helpful contributions to the site, etc. Not, "Hmm, this person is nice to me so I'll nominate them for M.O.M." No... People should be deserving of it. In this, I'm not saying all the people who were nominated this month don't deserve it. Hell, I'm barely on, so I wouldn't even know. But if I've counted correctly through all these posts, I have the number up to 20 members. 20!! What?! That's a lot of people!
Please keep your nomination simple. You can even get a little creative... "I'm nominating Lady J because her posts in The Sanctuary have been amazing these past weeks." GREAT. Please don't do this... "I'm nominating Lady J because she rocks." As much as I do like to rock, I don't even know what that means. So, in your reply; a name and a REAL reason as to why this person should be M.O.M.
I think that's about it... I'll make a Poll for the 20 (??) members, but this will be the last time I make a poll for this many people. And I hope there's isn't a tie because that would make me unhappy.
