The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Vibe let loose with a few colorful curses. >I swear, I'm going to skin that cat!!<
Their ears were ringing, even Amp's, even with the sound masking in place. Both girls looked ready to murder someone. Forget this negotiation crud; they were ready to fight. True they were small compared to the raging hulk of fur before them. But the Twins lacked fear, mostly, which may or may not have been a credit to them.
As the wolf-girl approached, snapping and growling, both girls started circling with her.
"Back off, Fido, or you'll never hear another thing in your life," Amp snarled right back. As a warning, or perhaps a catalyst, she sent another high-pitched whine at the wolf-girl's ears.
Deathstar fell to the ground as Abyss kicked her slashed leg, she crawled over near Tricity and stood up firmly. "Tricity I'm not leaving without Fade. even if my life is on the line" she spoke through the communcation device so that all the x-men could hear her. As Deathstar was talking she notice Tricity powers gaining strength, "You all are going to get it now" she spoke out loud as she knew first hand how powerful Tricity can get when she is pissed off.
Daria watched Tricity as well, she hoped the distraction she was creating with the wave would help the team. The program wasn't completely finished, she had wanted to make it do more but she didn't have the time really, or the means at the moment.
She looked, there were only a few more levels she could turn the wave up to but they were untested and she knew Tricity would be mad if there was any unneccessary violence.
When Amp and vibe stopped the attack Daria wasn't that surprised but her computer did something wonderful, it copied their power, storing their own frequency capability. Daria was perfecting a program that learned, a robot so to speak. It wouldn't do anything now but she would save the data.
Her headset though, still worked to cancel out their scream and she went unharmed.
Isabel looked over at he redheaded twins, Amp and Vibe, as they approached, watching with mild curiosity as Vibe unwound her scarf and handed it over to her. She smiled appreciatively and gave a small thank you to the girl as she accepted the cloth, gently wrapping it around her injured arm, as that was the most serious injury and would need the bleeding slowed down. She made a mental note to try and scrub the blood stains out of the material, or buy a new one for the redhead if it became too damaged. She was still keeping an eye on the animalistic X-Men, wary of the lupine as she seemed to be out of control and trying to be cautious about the feline with her teleportation abilities.
She was only mildly interested in the verbal exchange that was occurring between Tricity and a few of the Order members. Speeches usually only served to bore her to death and it was only rarely that she could give her full attention to them, and this of course was not one of those occasions. She caught a few threats issued and suggestions made for the X-Men to abandon their little rescue mission. The majority of her attention, however, was drawn to the laptop that suddenly sat itself in Daria's lap. Isabel's eyes narrowed as she watched the woman tapping away at her keyboard, wondering what exactly she was up to. She didn't have to wait long before she suddenly felt as if she'd taken a kick or two to the head. She winced visibly, biting her tongue in order to keep her mouth shut and to try not to yell or show any more open signs of weakness, just barely resisting the urge to grab her head. And then just as suddenly as it had started, it stopped. Isabel guessed that the twins had something to do about it. Not too smart trying to use a sound attack against a pair of auditory experts.
Seeing the great hulking beast that she had fought earlier coming in their direction, Isabel stepped off to the side, letting the twins take care of it, though she was ready to help out if her assistance was needed. Glaring up at the feline and trying to ignore the loud ring in her ears, Isabel produced another spine of bone in her hand, throwing it toward Daria, aiming for the laptop. She had another spine ready, though she didn't throw it just yet. She wanted to see what the woman would do, wanted to see if she'd teleport again or try and deflect the weaponry.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
The beast shook her head from side to side trying to get it out of her head. She pinned her ears straight back in order to muffle the annoying noise. She licked her jowels glaring at the twins with malice in her cold eyes.
"GRRRRRRRRR." She growled in a dark tone. The Lupine looked intimidating enough but the growling was just making it worst.
She looked from Amp To Vibe, trying to pinpoint where the noise was comming from. But she got sidetracked when she saw a bone fly out of Isabel and at Daria. The Lupine once again felt the strange protectiveness over the cat woman and leapt up, grabbing the bone in her jowels and chomped it in half.
The Wolf looked up at Daria with a very human like look in her eyes before stalking back over to the twins. A Wolven smirk crept across her muzzle as she ran at Amp full force and Lunged at her, attempting to pin the shorter hair twin down.
>Whaddaya know? Fido's got brains after all,< Vibe smirked as the wolf-girl seemed to turn away. >Or not,< she added when she simply deflected one of Isabel's attacks, then turned her attention back to the redheads.
Amp, when the lupine turned her back, sent a soundquake through the ground at her. The wolf lept at her, dodging the attack, which hit the tree full force instead.
>Look out!< Vibe pushed her sister aside as the wolf-girl lunged, then tried to move herself. She only partly succeeded. She was knocked away by the hit, and sent sprawling on the ground. She inhaled sharply; her ribs were still majorly hurting from their meeting with the air elemental.
"Vibe!" Amp growled at the wolf-girl, and sent one of her double attacks at her; a screech to the ears and a vibrating blast to the skull. She moved, a bit jerkily because of her ankle, to her sister's side. "You all right? She kept her eyes on the lupine, which were pulsing with fury. Vibe mirrored her expression, her teeth clenched.

Daria teleported her laptop away from her to some unseen location. She saw the attack but also sensed Emerald about to make a move and so she grinned when the attack was blocked. Emerald's human look reminded her to keep her own nerves calm but her fangs itched and the scent of blood was overwhelming. She hopped down from the tree, her eyes narrowing on Isabel.
The beast howled triumphantly when she managed to knock over one of the twins. But it was not her lucky day for the twin recovered and the annoying noise was back.
She snarled with animistic furry as the sound came back to her. It rattled her teeth to the root and made her cover her ears in pain. But the worst it got the more angry the wolf got.
Emerald roared out in a feral tone, determined to injure one twin before the battle was over. She charged, much faster than before, slashing her paw one way and ramming her head the other.
"Move it!" The girls split, one going left, the other right. Vibe felt the wind and a sting as the wolf-girl swiped. This time Amp took the hit from the head butt. She curled as she fell, rolling out of the fall and onto her feet. The destroyed gate was nearby. She grabbed a section with both hands. A section of the twisted metal came loose with a shatter-vibe shot to both ends.
The wolf girl seemed to be after Amp. While the girl felt she could handle herself, her sister would need a weapon. She turned toward the wolf and sent a concussion blast her way, running a wide circle as she went to catch up with her sister.
"Vibe! Catch!" Amp tossed the bar at her sister, accelerating it through the air with a slightly less destructive concussion blast. Vibe caught it fairly easily, as her sister's power didn't have any effect on her. She immediately swung in the wolf-girl direction, aiming for her head.
As she went to move to a better attacking position, Amp suddenly felt her ankle buckle, and she fell to one knee, cursing.
(OOC: FYI, The claw swipe did connect, just not fully. Vibe just hasn't noticed because of adreniline rush. But she will.)
The wolf girl was dazed from the concussion blastt and the head boink wasn't a surprise. She growled, trying to regain her bearings best as she could. When the spots cleared from her eyes in that short amount of time her target had fallen on the ground.
She smiled, massive paw sweeping out at Vibe to knock her out of the way. In the meantime her other paw tried to slam into Amp's chest, pressing down so she would be from her air supply.
The Lupine's intent was to kill the main aggressor. She was Ruthless at this point, she wanted to see the color of their blood.
The wolf-girl's swipe was dead on, and probably would have laid the Vibe's side fully open. However Amp reacted unconsciously to protect her. The ground below Vibe suddenly cracked and surged upward. The swipe caught the earth instead, crushing it. Both attacks knocked Vibe off-balance, and the second one sent her crashing to earth. The resulting pain threatened to overwhelm the girl, and she blacked out for nearly a full minute.
Unfortunately, that meant trouble for Amp. With her sister unconscious, Amp couldn't generate any attacks. And her ankle wouldn't let her run. The wolf-girl's paw landed square on her chest, pressing into her ribcage and lungs and sending a massive pain wave over the petite redhead. She couldn't catch her breath, and she was way too small to push the beast off, though she definately sent as much kicking force into the wolf-girl's ribcage as possible. And without her sister....
Amp hissed in fury, struggling, and failing, to get loose.
The beast enjoyed watching the redhead writhe beneath her. The kick didnt do much just made the beast grunt. She was enjoying watching the girl beging to turn blue((sorry if thats G modding))
Suddenly that alienated part of her started to fight back. The Lupine took her paw off the sound mutant, a human look of horror crossing across her face. Her ears where pinned back and a small whine escaped.
"No.......Kill.....cant.....again...." The Lupine managed out before Instinct took over again.
She let out a snarl and began stalking up to Vibe, Jowels open as she attended to bite the other sonic sister's throat, delievering a killing blow. But still, part of her was fighting, which made her attacked slowed.
Isabel glared at the wolf as her projectile was caught and crushed before it could even get near to her intended target. That stupid wolf was seriously treading on her already frayed nerves, but Isabel would have no time to repay the lupine's little favor as a feral sounding hiss reached her ears, the ringing finally dieing down into dull background noise. Turning her attention over toward the direction the hiss had come from, she found herself looking once again at that Daria woman and, much to her frustration, the laptop was no longer with her. No doubt she'd teleported it someplace out of the way where it wouldn't be vulnerable to any more attempted attacks.
Seeing the woman's eyes narrow at her, Isabel simply smirked in a smug little manner. These X-Men just didn't know when to quit, did they? She was still keeping a wary eye on the wolf seeing as she looked to still be very unpredictable and out of control and Isabel felt a little too cautious to turn her back to the beast. The twins looked like they were taking a serious beating as well. She felt as if she should help the girls out and yet she had Daria after her once again and she wouldn't dare dismiss that woman's presence either. Taking the already prepared spine in her hand, she flung it in Daria's direction, not really expecting it to hit, but instead to distract. The moment the spear-like weapon left her hand, four white knobs appeared in the tips of her fingers. Swiping her arm in Emerald's direction, the knobs were sent flying in her direction at an impressively high speed. She didn't expect the attack to do much, but she was trying to slow the lupine down a little more to buy the girls some time.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
Amp coughed and inhaled deeply as she was suddenly released. Too angry to be grateful, and too stubborn to admit defeat, she rolled away and onto her hands and knees.
Nearby, Vibe sat up again, her head spinning along with her vision. Almost immediately she began sending out vibrations to locate her sister. It was a defense born of a rough childhood and living on the streets. She didn't realize the wolf-girl was after her until the last second, and rolled away in reflex.
Amp, seething in hatred, Amp aimed a concussion blast at the wolf. Fueled by her fury the blast, or what it could do, could be seen clearly. A depression formed in the ground below Amp, dropping her a couple of inches. The earth cracked and buckled in a visible path toward the lupine. Anything in its path was vibrated into exploding, including the metal pipe Vibe had been swinging. The bone projectiles sent by Isabel entered the blast's path, and shattered into shrapnel, their speed increased.
Vibe rolled clear. Back on her feet she sprinted toward her sister. She glanced at Isabel, motioning with a 'thumbs up' sign in thanks. Once she reached Amp's side, the shorter haired twin began sending out a sound barrier cushion, to slow any more incoming attacks. She was breathing heavily, but still managing to spout some colorful curses and oaths in an asian language.
The Beast growled upon missing its prey, tail lashing back and forth. Then the concussion blast reverberated through the air at deadly speed. Emerald was knocked over and as she got up she noticed the metal and bone sharpnels. The Lupine had managed to dodge most of the sharpnels that had formed from the bone and metal.
But about 6 of the thin needle like sharpnels managed to stab into her fur, 3 piercing through her thick hide. SHe let out a growl of distasted as she turned her head, reaching her jowels back, trying to get the irritations out of her backside.
"GAROOOO!" She howled., bits of blood dripping from her fur.
Emerald pinned her ears back, glaring over at the twins. She didnt move though, the Lupine had already fallen over from the attack, she was currently waiting to see what else the sonic sisters were cooking up.
