The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tricity saw the second dodge the hit and come charging for her. This would be a tussle. 'Foolish girl...' The woman charged directly at Tricity and they both fell to the ground. The wind was knocked from Tricity and she coughed in response. She grabbed onto the second's throat as the woman landed on top of her, struggling to gain control.
All of a sudden, animals came out of nowhere. Bats seemed to be swarming up the side of the building and following an unseen entity. 'Fade, she's almost to the top...' Looking over she also noticed it was the twins who were calling to the animals. 'Animal control?' Tricity saw Deathstar take cover behind the van that had been thrown at her earlier by one of the clones. She brought her attention back to the second and sent an electric charge through her body and into the attacking woman.

Kaz watched Deathstar evade the attacks made with the whip, which impressed him greatly. She was quite nimble a well. Though she still got slashed across her calves by the daggers. He watched her jump behind the overturned van. Thankfully it was on its side, so she couldn't see through the windows. In fact her, her back was against the roof of the van. Kaz stalked up towards the van thinking of his next move. As he got closer, he punched the bottom of the van once, twice, three times. None of the hits was hard, but enough to let her know he was there. Kaz jumped on the side of the van and instantly crouched low. He slammed his large hands into the bottom of the van at the same time his legs touched the side of the van. Kaz was pretty sure Deathstar didn't have enhanced hearing so she wouldn't be able to tell that he was on the van.
With his small hand holding the whip he undid the clasping mechanism that held the four parts of the whip together. No longer was it just one whip but four. Shifting his grip high up on the handle to where each of the four strands of metal rope came out, he put one strand in between his fingers. For two inches of each strand of metal rope above the handle there were no teeth or barbs, so he could grab and hold with no danger of hurting himself. He pulled his hand back, which made the whips snap backwards, but Kaz slammed his large hands against the van once again to hide the snap which wasn't as loud or strong as the others had been.
He shifted one leg forward and brought his free small arm out in front of him, the arm gauntlet facing up. Swinging forward and down, Kaz shifted his weight forward and saw where Deathstar was. The four whip parts came down on Kaz's gauntlet. A biting, metal against metal grating sound began as the four whip strands moved across the gauntlet while Kaz moved his fingers to control each strand a bit more. Kaz shifted his gauntlet arm slightly angling it a certain way to change their direction to aim them downward at Deathstar, essentially turning each one in to a spear.
Nail quickly lost the direstion of were fade had gone, but was quickly destracted by the moveing earth. To keep himself from falling awkwardly, he fell to a crouch struggling to keep his balance to keep his balance. He looked around frantically, trying to find the imvisbale person, but obviously that was futile. What he did notice, was all the indicidual battles going on., and how much the turrain was getting torn up.
The second thing he noticed was the swarms of animals, which served onlyu to confuse the crap out of him. Or at least thats what he thought. However, he quickly realised their true purpose, as he watched a swarm of bats slowely make their way up the side of the building. It appeared that his target had gotten away from him. >Too bad so sad..< he thought to himself. He had tried, and his opponent ran. He wondered if that was qualification enough. If Kaz would let him just kinda... wait on the steps for the antidote. >I wish...<
He looked on the battlefield, and saw nearly everyone being delt with. These x-men guys were clearly outnumbered. Not that Nail was complaining, but it did seem to put him in a comprimizing situation. He just kinda stood there fo alittle, not wanting to get involved, but knowing he had to. He sighed, but then felt something against his leg. Looking down quickly, he saw one of the stray cats rubbing its head affectionately against one of the spikes on his leg and looking up at him. He quirked an eyebrow at it. This was truely the most awkward situation he had been in, in his life... He wondered if this was how all mutant fights where. Chaos, panic, disorder... and apparently stay animals looking for homes.

"So much for not letting them get inside..."
>What is she? Spiderman's cousin??<
"C'mon! We've got to follow her! You're on your own Big Red!" That last statement was aimed at Abyss. They figured he could handle the other on his own, considering.
There was no catching Miss Invisible now, unless they suddenly sprouted wings. Instead Vibe pulled the little brown bat from her pocket, and tossed him into the air, with the command to find and follow the girl. Then the pair of them turned and ran back through the same doors Sentinel had barged out of.
Inside, the place was full of noises. There were probably people inside somewhere, but the majority of the sounds that reached them were typical of these buildings; rumbles, creaks, groans and squeaks as the building settled, with the occasional grumbling from the heating and air-conditioning operators.
>I've got the stairs, you take the vents.< Vibe pointed, then headed for the emergency stairs.
Amp went over to one of the walls and began searching for heating and air vents. She found it high up on one wall. She began puling and pushing various furniture items and boxes under it, until she could reach it. Placing her hand on the vent, she closed her eyes.
Vibe, meanwhile, banged open the doors that lead to the emergency stairs. She shuddered a bit as her contact with her sister dropped dramatically. She could still 'feel' her, but just barely. She knelt on the ground and placed one hand on the wall, and one on the steps, also 'feeling' the sounds of the building. Almost immediatly she found her sister again, and visibly relaxed. They were still distant, but not far enough that she couldn't talk, or send help in the form of her vibrations.
The pair synced in with each other, and slowly began the work of sorting through the myriads of sounds, listening for anything unusual, like that extra set of footsteps again. They couldn't hear everything, as the building was massive, but they were practically under the spot where the girl had disappeared to on the roof. Plus sounds tended to echo further through air vents and off of the concrete in the emergency stairways, so they should be able to pick up on something.
Fade held her breath when she heard something sound behind her. She wipped her invisible head behind her, feeling immense pain in her neck when she repositioned herself just to see over her shoulder. A stray bat. Rolling her eyes, she continued on. For now, she needed to focus on reaching her destination, so she turned visible, in all of her muddy glory. As she slowly and quietly phased her claws through the metal, she pulled herself along with her hands and pushed with her feet, rolling her eyes and mentally cursing the whole way.
A noise, a faint noise, but it was directly beneath her. It must be those annoying Olsen twins. However, she kept herself completely silent, holding her breath and keeping her horridly uncomfortable position. After nearly 3 minutes, she could no longer hold her position and she relaxed her neck muscles, dropping it on the cold metal with a small clatter. It was barely audible, but if those Olsen twins had the ears of a bat or cat or whatever pathetic creature they called, they would have definately heard it. Without a moment's hesitation, Fade began to scutter, pushing with her feet and pulling with her hands quicker than she thought possible through the confined space. Finally, a vent opening. Seizing the opportunity, she crawled onto the vent slits and her weight caused them to fall...not as if she was fat, just heavier than air...
Her fall was not fun as her foot did not detach as quickly as she would have liked and she fell down head first onto the floor behind a counter. Her body twisted in an awkward motion before she hit but she had no clue what that meant. It wasn't until she ducked and turned invisible behind the counter when she realized what it was and muttered under her breathe...broken collar bone. With that, she grabbed her collar bone and ran away from the desk before jumping onto the ceiling, grabbing on with her left hand and her feet while keeping her right arm clasped to her paining collar bone.
She limped across the ceiling, hoping that the twins wouldn't notice her, but fully aware that they probably did notice. Once she had reached the other side of the room, she let go of the ceiling and landed on her feet, still grabbing her collar bone. In a pitiful attempt to run, she turned the corner and felt it best if since they could see her from their hearing, she should just stop focusing on her powers and start focusing on finding this Jack, so she turned visible and looked at her collar bone, feeling pain shoot around her body as if the sight of it made it worse. She shook her head, bit her lip, and looked up again before skidding to a stop, digging her claws into the ground so that she wouldn't hit the one in front of her. Once she was completely stopped, she registered his face, he ran the Sanctuary. He was the leader of their plans. This was not good.
Emerald smirked as her foot hooked underneath the bone girl's. When she fell on the floor her grin only grew until all her wolven teeth showed. As the confident smirk played on her face, she watched as Isabel got ready for the next attack.
She prepared herself and when the needles where thrown Emerald turned into her wolf form and began to do a frantic dodging game. She evaded the first 6 needles but she wasn't ready for the next two
One went clean slice across her back and another pierced her tail causing her to yelp in pain. She looked at Isabel, anger clearly showing in her Blue eyes. She charged with wolven speed and ferocity lunging at the girl, not knowing or caring if she could take on the weight of A young adult tundra/red wolf hybrid. Or if she could handle her Biting her shoulder like her jaws where aiming to do to draw second blood.
Syn successfully knocked Tricity down and even knocked the wind from the woman. Pressing the advantage Syn jumped on Tricity and pinned her down but the X-Men leader wasn't giving up easily.
Even though the girl's strength was allowing her to keep Tricity on the ground the woman still tried to choke Syn by grabbing her throat. The wicked girl continued to use her pheremones in an attempt to subdue Tricity. That changed in a matter of moments when Tricity sent a charge of electricity into the girl.
Syn yelled out as the power of the X-Men leader surged through her. As a result her pheremone power also surged momentarily. Syn could feel her self starting to react to the assault and even though she was still being shocked she turned her yell into histerical laughter in an attempt to further fight against Tricity's attack.
Doing her best to keep her grip on the woman Syn Decided to distract Tricity by head butting the woman twice. After the second strike she leaning closer and whipered to the woman. "You shouldn't have allowed me to get so close." Tensing up and pulling herself closer to Tricity Syn focused on her pheremone power again to subdue the woman.
Isabel watched with great curiosity as the girl she was fighting suddenly shifted into a wolf. It wasn't entirely unexpected seeing as the tail had been a pretty big clue, but it was still curious none the less. And he still had good, of not better, reflexes when on four legs rather than two. Only two of her eight needles had hit, but the fact that any had hit at all made her grin. At least the effort had not been completely wasted. She watched the wolf cautiously, waiting for the beast's next move.
Isabel didn't even bother to move as the lupine charged her. She stood perfectly still, holding her ground and letting more of those small spines protrude from her knuckles, though she had another attack in mind. Her grin grew slightly as the wolf got closer. One good thing was, as a wolf this girl would be restricted mainly to biting or clawing. Well, so long as she didn't use the plumbing to her advantage again, that is. But anyhow, being restricted to the limited attacks an animal had at it's disposal meant that the wolf would need to get very close in order to execute any of those attacks. That was perfect.
Isabel could have made herself untouchable by covering herself in dangerous spines to prevent the attack, but instead the opted to take the brunt of it, bracing herself for the weight of the impact from the animal. She had to take a step back as the attack connected, trying to keep her balance and posture as the wolf's maw clamped onto her shoulder. The teeth didn't get to sink in very far due to the armor beneath her skin, nor would they be able to crack the armor since it's density was far greater than any normal bone, making it much much harder. They would get perhaps half an inch or so, but it was enough to give a nasty little pinch to to start a shallow flow of blood. With a sly little smirk, she cast a sideways glance at the animal before spines quickly covered her shoulder, stabbing into the lupine's gums, tongue and the roof of her mouth in several different places.

((Sorry about my absence...busy life prepping for college!))
For the whole van ride, Daria had been preparing something special on her laptop and she hadn't let anyone know quite what it was, but if the sanctuary had advance technology she would make sure the X-men were prepared.
She got out of the van when it was time to do so and when Abyss' clone came at her she teleported out of the way and appeared behind it, kicking it in the back and slaming it to the ground. It surprised her by getting up and swinging at her but she was too swift and caught it's arm, flipping it over to the ground. It rolled and tried to get up but one more kick from it's feline adversary proved to be one to many and it lay still. His body, soon after was sucked into a void.
Daria hopped onto the top of the van surverying the fight and seeing who needed help.
"AROO!" Emerald exclaimed opening her jaws quickly. She felt blood pouring from her jaws as she let go. She stumbled backwards, growling in pain, blood poured from her jowels as she let out growls of pain.
Her ears flatted to her head in pain and in furry as had to pause to recover herself, she was hurt bad, but she wouldnt admit defeat, she would just have to compouse herself, with her bleeding lips, touge and gums.

Daria's ears were easily tuned into Emerald's voice-especially her scream.
She leapt off of the van swiftly, a foot out to aim a kick towards Isabel's back to knock her away from Emmy. Daria was prepared to avoid the girl's bones at the moment.
Isabel chuckled as the lupine gave a pained howl and jumped back after detaching herself from her shoulder, which was by now covered in blood, not all of it Isabel's own. By the looks of it she had really gotten the wolf girl good and judging by the painful looking flow of blood, it didn't look like the girl would try the same trick twice. It looked as if Isabel was winning the round against the wolf, which pleased her very much.
A small "Oof" escaped from her as she was suddenly kicked from behind, the force causing her to stumble a few clumsy steps before sending her down into the muddy ground on her hands and knees. Isabel glared at the new woman as she scrambled back to her feet and backed up a step or two. It was that cat woman that Kaz had warned them about, the one who could teleport. She could prove to be a real problem, but Isabel had good reflexes and perhaps could at least retain a decent defense if her offensive attacks fell short.
Isabel's gaze flitted wearily between the wolf and the feline, trying to keep an eye on both of them. The lupine was injured, but that didn't mean she wouldn't try some different method of attack, and the cat woman was as of yet unharmed and ready for a fight. Again she allowed the spines on her knuckles to elongate and took one between each of her fingers, doing exactly as she'd done before the wolf girl had transformed. She wanted to see exactly what the feline could do. With a swift jolt of movement, she swung out one hand, using the same flick of her wrist to send the first four needles at her opponent at an intimidating speed, waiting for the cat woman's next move before she would throw the last four of her weapons.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.

Since her last injury, Daria had been practicing religiously, trying to get back into shape despite her serious stomach wounds from Sapphire.
With the Doc's help, though, she had recovered and with her hard work she was just a bit better than she'd been before.
Not that Isabel's attack was at all easy for her to dodge. She back flipped out of the way of two of the spikes, and the other two she batted with her claws. She snapped them in two-they weren't made of admantium or diamond so her claws would penetrate fairly well. However she only broke them in half because of he force of her arms.
When they spikes were taken care of, she inched slowly toward Emerald, staying low, her tail cracking like a whip, a low hiss in her throat.
Emerald looked at Daria, thanks clearly upon her Lupine features, mixed with a bit of indignaty. As much as she loved Dar for comming to her rescue and as much as she was greatful she still hated the fact that she couldnt handel Isabel on her own.
The wolf's mouth felt a little bit better, tail lashing back and forth. Now she knew better that to attack her enemies shoulder. But that didnt mean she knew better not to Lunge again, but this time her intent was to rake her claws across the girl's face.
Isabel looked on in interest as her attack was dodged, watching the woman's movements carefully, a small frown crossing her features at the sight of her bones being broken by the woman's claws. She made a note of those, knowing they'd most likely cause her some trouble in the scuffle. First the wolf's teeth, now the cat's claws. She'd simply have to thicken the density of her next batch of weapons to make sure they weren't so easily split in half. She also noted that the woman seemed to be covering the wolf, offering the girl some kind of protection from the bow wearing mutant. It wasn't exactly a surprise seeing as the two were teammates, and it provided Isabel with a further motive for the woman to jump into their fight aside from her leader's directions.
Isabel looked to the wolf as she lunged again, but as Isabel had expected, she was not snapping her jaws. Instead Isabel watched carefully as her paw shot out toward her face. Using the six inch needles still in her hand, she lashed out at the wolf, leaning her head back she tried to prevent the claws from reaching her, but still felt a sharp sting run across the bridge of her nose and in several different places across her cheek, just below her right eye. Gritting her teeth so as not to give any pained sounds she stabbed at the lupine's chest, hoping to sink her weapons into her flesh.
