The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Nail was about to make his half-hazard entrence onto the battle field. His nerves were twitching, and no matter how hard he tried to calm himself down, he couldn't. It wasn't excitment. It was fear. Not for his own life, but for his own actions. He didn't want to be here, but he had no other choice.
His focus was quickly changed when he felt someone grab his arm. His sneer changed quickly to a confused frown, as he looked over his shoulder and saw no one. A pain shot through his crystal coated arm, and he was surprised. Being taken by surprise, Nails light build was thrown into the air slightely, and he landed on his back.
"Geeze not five seconds into this and I'm already getting smacked around."
Nail hit the ground hard, but was unscathed, thanks to his armor-like skin, or so he thought. He was actually bleeding under the crystal of his arm, but right now he didn't really notice. He got into a kneeling possition looking around carefully, trying to figure out what just happened. It occured to him that he was just his by someone invisable.
He looked around quickly, and noted that most other enemies were preoccupied. Syn seemed to notice what happened, and... twins? Since when were there twins here? Man he was really missing out in that cell. In any case. They seemed to notice something too.
Thinking quick, Nail made a sweeping motion with his bare feet, as if he wer tripping someone. He missed horribly if he was trying to trip her, but there was more to his attack than that. A small wave of crystal shot out along the ground. It would hopefully wash over their feet. If not, their could easily just jump the wave, and end up unharmed, however, they would be landing on a very, spikey, uneven surface.

Kaz shook his head slightly as Abyss attacked with the clones. He looked at the wolf girl. "Sorry to cut this short." Kaz's leg sprang up at an incomprehensible speed, well beyond the human capability. The kick was aimed at the wolf girl's chest. He didn't push the blow, but stopped it almost instantly after he collided with her chest, pulling his leg back. As his foot touched the ground he took off towards the telepath at an insane speed. Putting his hands in his pocket, he pulled out a pair of knuckle busters. Unlike his normal set, these were equipped with tasers on the impact side.
Cutting a quick corner he came at the man from the back. As he moved there seemed to be after images trailing him, all of which looked nearly solid, but would dissapear milliseconds later. One fist was aimed at the man's neck, just below the base of the skull, the other at the middle of his spine. Due to the speed he moved, the force he would impact with would be comparable to that of a freight train hitting a car at full speed.
The Kick in the chest threw Emerald Back a little bit, but that just made her a little more angry. She glared at the Clone that was about to attack her and kicked him with a well balanced roundhouse kick, trying to knock it away from her.
She then saw Abyss heading straight towards Mike and with concentration she made a Pipe burst from underneath the ground and shoot upwards with water at High pressure. She aimed it so when just when Kaz was over it he would be hit with High pressured water, enough to knock him away from Mike.
The twins grinned as the fireworks started. For a moment they simply watched, savoring the choaitc ‘beat’ that reached their bodies. This was what they lived for, what they craved. They could ‘hear’ it all, and thrived on the vibrations that shook the air. Now, who to play with?......
When Crystal Boy seemed to fall sideways, it was obvious he’d had help. Syn must have seen it too.
"Do you detect anything strange?"
The girls narrowed their eyes. >”You’d better believe it.”<
Amp focused her sister’s vibrations, sending out ultrasound like a bat. A slight shape came back to her, scuttling and moving like a crab or spider. So that’s where that extra set of footsteps came from. The girls smirked devilishly.
“Hey Shards. Don’t move.” Even though she wasn’t yelling, Sentinal would hear her voice as clearly as if it were right next to his ear. Then she aimed a sonic wave in the Invisible’s direction, intending to knock her into the jet of water that had seemed to appear from no where. Water plus dirt equals mud. And mud equals.......
Isabel could hardly contain the grin that spread across her features as a kid all decked out in crystal made his entrance soon followed by Abyss. Leave it up to the Big Guy to get the ball rolling. Straightening her posture out and taking a step away from the wall she'd been leaning against, she stretched her arms up above her head in order to loosen up some of her stiff muscles, her eyes scanning the crowd that had suddenly been kicked into action. It looked like Abyss had just about everyone covered, though no one had ever said a fight had to be one on one. The only question was who would be the one Isabel could play tag with?
She quirked an eyebrow in curiosity at the girl with the wolf ears and tail who was taking advantage of the plumbing. Another mischievous grin crossed her features as she found her next playmate, taking up a casual ad carefree pace as she descended the stairs and made her way over to the girl. Already she'd formed a layer of armor beneath her skin and her favored weapon, a long sword like bone, was already protruding and lengthening from the palms of both her hands. "Hello, Pup. Care for a bone to chew?" she taunted, taking a swipe at the lupine with her right arm to distract her from her attack on Kaz and attempt to capture her full attention.

Fade saw the field of crystal shades approach her feet and quickly. She lept up in the air, just as the attacker may have expected. While up in the air, she saw that the ground was glistening. With great pain, she caused herself to land on her toes, right on her claws. Some of the shards did touch her feet, however, they were far enough to only embed in her shoes. Using her claws to walk on the glass, she lowered her body and accompanied her attempt with her toe claws with her finger claws as she scuttled near Jared.
Out of nowhere, a sonic blast hit the invisible red head and she flew into a puddle of water, covering herself in mud. She looked over at the twins that had caused it and then back down at her muddy figure. Muttering under her breath and cursing her non-mudd resistant hair, she focused all of her power on the mud that was caked on her and managed to turn everything on top of her invisible, so she was yet again unseen to the naked eye. "Gonna have to try harder than that, Mary Kate and Ashley." She smirked before running towards the shard-covered ground. Of course, since she can only turn things invisible when she is touching them, she left a mud trail and cursed under her breath for that. Once she was close enough to the glass shards, she scooped up two handfuls of it and threw them right for the twins, each one got one handful. She didn't wish to harm them more than critical, so it was aimed for their abdomins. Knowing full-well that they could probably break the shards with their powers, she decided to deal with Jared while the twins were distracted.
She made a sharp turn and faced the crystal boy. She hated causing pain, so she knew what she would do. She ran up to him and grabbed his chest as he still lay on the ground. Ignoring the pain that shot through her hands as she used her claws to dig in without harm, she was forced to use her hands on the last part, causing the crystals to dig deep into her hands until she was sure that she had his crystals stuck in the grass before she lifted her hands off of him, leaving handprints marked with blood and clumpy mud. Now she could take care of the twins. I really hope that I can defeat just one so I don't have to keep distracting them just so I can distract another before I turn back and distract them again. She mentally muttered before wiping the mud from her eyes and throwing the clump to the ground, ignoring it as if dissolved into visibility once it left her hand.
Thorn looked at every X-Man as they seemed to be dealing with at least 2 members of the Order. Finally, she found one that wasn't preoccupied with two, he just had an Abyss clone attacking him. She would aid her red friend. Walking forward, ignoring the battles around her, she walked up to her red friend and the one with wires and smirked before sending around 5 of her titanium tipped thorns huddling towards his right foot. "Mind if I join?" She asked rhetorically as a smirk played across her face.
She held up her hands and caused at least one titanium-tipped thorn to appear on the top of her fingers, making her slaps deadly. She wouldn't attack, no, not until he took notice. As evil as Thorn was, she wasn't one to attack someone without them seeing her face before she brutally beat them until they could no longer see. It was her philosophy, for she would hate to send someone to their maker without them telling their maker their last memory of the corsetted woman.
Nail again taken by surprise. He had been pushed back down onto the ground, and felt someone grapling him. Mudd was geeting all over him, so he figure the invisable lady was trying something again. He wasn't hurt, but he saw blood drip on him and onto the ground aswell. He just kind of stared blankly, not quite sure what was going on. Then he realised that the spikes on his back were being pushed intot he dirt.
"Great... I've fallen and a can't get up..."
He could feel the girl release him, and onhis chest he could see a stange hand print made up of blood and dirt. He was more concerned with himself at the moment though. he was on his back on a battlefield... not smart at all. He needed to get up. He wiggled alittle pathetically, and quickly came to the conclution that he needed to lose the spikes. He absorbed them back into his body, and did a fancy little jump onto his feet, as if making up for his pathetic little turtle show.
"Sorry... we're not done yet..."
Nail jumped forward, as if about to go into a summersault. However, he tucked his legs and arms against his body quickly in mid air, and made encased himself in crystal. A tire-like shape woud form around him, and spikes would protrude from the 'tred' of the 'tire' looking quite deadly.
This was a totally ineffdective technique, and he knew it. That was the point. He didn't want to fight, he just had to make it look like he was fighting. The tire began rolling menacingly towards fade, following the trail of mud. the spikes seemed to rotate around the rolling tire, causing it to move pretty quickly. He would catch up to fade within seconds.
Just as Tricity was about to handle the second clone again, Star had sent the thing flying backward and out of comission. She watched it tumble to the ground in defeat.
"Tricity, now what?" Deathstar questioned. Tricity moved the girl out of the way and sent one of her charged blue electric balls into the water burst that she noticed Emmy create. Hopefully that big mouth would take a hit and shut him up for a moment. Mud was spreading across the ground now, making it hard to keep ones footing while in the middle of a fight.
She scanned the field and saw the X-Men being pushed back and then Fade being visible for a moment as the mud covered her body. Tricity turned back to Star. "Make sure Fade gets in..." she said quietly and nodded for her to go. There were a lot of mutants trying to find the invisible girl. This water could possibly be a downfall for Tricity. She ignored it and focused on the fight at hand. From her far position, she sent another electric ball straight for Sentinel to help Fade get through.
Emerald let out a growl, glad that the water was already shooting upwards so fast her break of concentration wouldnt affect that one atack. Emerald ducked underneath the oncomming swords aiming a punch toward's Isabel's stomach.
"A dog pun? Oh come on now, arent those getting a bit old? Why dont you just call me Rover and call it a day." Emerald rolled her eyes.
She felt bad about messing up the field of battle but her actions most likely would save Mike from pain. Besides she couldnt let her surrogate Big brother get hurt. Not only that but the less she turned into a wolf, the more likely she would keep herself in control of her abilities. If not she wouldnt be able to tell who was trying to hurt her and who wasnt.
Isabel simply gave an amused chuckle at the wolf girl's reply to her little hello. "Well alright then, if you insist, Rover," she said being the typical little smart-ass that she was, that wide grin still plastered to her face. By distracting the lupine she'd hoped to change the water flow but was sadly disappointed as it just kept on going. On the bright side, the girl was paying attention to her now, and was even throwing punches. Isabel had to give a little hop backward, arching her back slightly to avoid the fist from colliding with her stomach, the girl's knuckles just barely grazing her clothing. It wasn't like the fist would have done much, considering the bone armor under her skin, but what was the fun of just standing there and letting someone hit you? The mud didn't help any either, but she managed to keep her balance fairly well.
Well, now it was her turn, wasn't it? With her right arm she slashed again at the girl's stomach once her grip on the ground had stabilized. Her left arm followed with another slash, this one aimed at the girl's neck before Isabel took another half a step back and kicked her leg straight up, hoping for her foot to connect with the girl's chin and knock her off balance. Tag, Rover. You're it.

Dominic took a kick from the fast clone and he slid across the muddy ground, but sent out his wires, wrapping them around the clone and taking it with him. He quickly tied the clone up and pulled the strings tighter and tighter. He gave a swift kick to the clone's face and it turned over without moving.
A lovely young woman came up next and sent out a series of spikes into Dominic's shoe. He felt a sharp pain as they pierced his skin. Flinching a moment, he touched his fingertips together again and pulled back more wires. 'More beautiful women on the wrong side. It's very disheartening.' He smiled at the woman and stood up straight. "Look, I don't like hitting women. So, if you please, I'd like to attack your fast-talking friend over there who's increasingly annoying my patience."
Deathstar shifted to the right as Tricity sent a ball of electricity into the spraying water aimed toward Kaz, "Make sure Fade gets in..." Deathstar listened and obeyed Tric's orders. She turns around noticing Fade was in one versus three situation, and This did not sit well in Deathstar's mind at all. She notice her main distraction was the twin girls giving her hard time staying invisible, even though Deathstar couldn't see fade she speaks to her through the tech device Daria gave all the X-men. "Fade are you hurt?, its about time we take care of these jerks" she said softly so only Fade can hear her.
Deathstar sees one the sanctuary gates Tricity blasted off laying on the ground , very heavy and Solid, she uses her superstrength picking up the gate up over her head and sends it flying toward the twin girls. Meanwhile the guy with crystal blades is up on his feet again making some kind of crystal contraption aimed at a specific point, Deathstar knew it was trouble brewing, she had to think and think fast. The only way he can be successful is if he knows where Fade is, but then again Fade can always phase through his attack. Deathstar shot off charging toward this crystal guy leaning in with her shoulder trying to knock him down and his attention off of Fade.
Emerald cursed inwardly as her attack missed its mark. But she quickly dodged the Bone sword, in order to avoid a Painful fatal injury. However the kick was another story.
She saw it comming and somehow, someway she managed to move her arm up to block it, allowing the floot to connect with her upper arm. The wolf girl grunted, wolfishly, knowing that was proably gonna bruise, but thats not what she was focused on.
Now that one foot was up in the air, Isabel was more open for attack. Oceanwolf smiled at that.. She full on kicked out at the girls stomach using her wolven strength and speed, if it connected, it would proably hurt considerably. If it didnt, well Em would just have to get better aim.
Isabel's grin finally faltered a bit as her leg was caught up in the air. Not only had the swipes been dodged, which she'd sort of been expecting, but she had also just put herself unto a very unfavorable position. The girl had good reflexes, she'd giver her that much. She gave a slight "Oof," as the lupine's foot connected with her stomach, the bone armor doing its job perfectly well to protect her, though it did absolutely nothing for her balance which was made even worse due to the slick ground underfoot. Internal injuries would not be a problem. Bruising, now that was another story. She had to stick the tip of one of her bone swords into the ground to keep from slipping and ending up on the ground.
Letting the bone sword in her left hand slide back trough her palm and up into her arm once again, she instead commanded individual spikes to protrude from her knuckles and thickened the density, giving herself a built-in set of brass knuckles, nix the brass part of course. Letting her expression dissolve into a more determined look, she regarded good ol' Rover for a second, formulating her next attack. In a sudden jolt of movement she rushed the lupine, a spine of bone jutting out of her shoulder at the last minute as she attempted to ram the girl before bringing her fist up with a left hook.
