The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Oh look another jerkwad...him and Deathstar would get along great if he didnt look like he was about to kill her. Emerald thought to herself.
She had listened to Kaz's whole speech to Tricity about how much the X men sucked except he tried to make it more refined but Em got the gist of it. The wolf girl wasnt exactly in the moof for him openly putting down the team or thier valiant leader so she was itching to get some action.
Em stood behind Daria, her tail lashing back and forth irritably. She was waiting for the first chance of action, the first call of a battle because then she would let loose.
Emerald was ready for anything at this point and she didnt know if these enemies knew about her or not she wasnt exactly the oldest X woman, but she was still a force to be reckoned with. Well...Besides Daria, Mike And Tricity of course.
She glared at Kaz, a low Lupine growl escaping her throat, causing her to bare her vicouse looking fangs. As much as she Disliked Deathstar she sure as hell wouldnt let him kill her...that was her job anyways. The wolf girl also dislliked the fact he just insulted Tricity, that made her sorta angry and she wasnt exactly herself when she was angry.
Em glanced Over at Tricity with a look that said, 'Can we hurt them now?'
Isabel was leaning her back casually against one side of the building, opposite to where the two redheaded twins were positioned, having arrived shortly after summoned. Her arms were crossed and her head was tilted to the side, looking almost as if she'd doze off as she silently regarded the group of X-men in their matching monkey suits. Gazing over the different faces, she quickly picked out a few that Kaz had taken the time to mention and warn them about, the ones that were supposed to have troublesome powers. Somehow she didn't think they were here just to have a word with King or Syn, considering how many people had been brought along with them. Figures. People just don't appreciate others' work toward progress nowadays, at least not when it wasn't done according to their standards. She didn't at all like the way their leader Tricity was ignoring them. After all, a leader wasn't the only thing required to create an organization. Members were needed as well, and they were just as important. Isabel didn't like being ignored.
"As Kaz has stated, our second in command will be here in due time. Patience is a virtue, you know," she said, not even bothering to move from her comfortable position, though at the moment she didn't look quite as likely to drift off as she had before. She fell silent once more as Syn finally spoke up and claimed her title. She found it rather amusing how riled up some of their team seemed to be after Kaz's little speech. Isabel enjoyed watching their reactions, though they all seemed to be restraining themselves fairly well. And, as much as Isabel liked the insulting banter, it was nothing compared to a physical brawl. She was ready for a fight, not having had any good ones since she'd first arrived at Sanctuary. C'mon leaders, lets get down to business.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
Tricity had heard rumors about Star and the trouble she had with her siblings. Her head turned toward the new voice from a girl who stepped out from the side of the building. Tricity ignored their attack on the trainee and acknowledged the young woman who had stepped forward to indicate she was second in charge. "Well, there have been some rumors going around that a very young mutant named Jacquelyn was taken from her doctors' care and brought to your facility. Along with that, I also have come to learn that a couple of my residents are also here. Not by choice. I was hoping you could explain."
She tuned into Mike who stood behind her on the right, though she faced forward and waited for an answer. 'Mike, can you sense the mutations they have?' Tricity counted the number they had compared to their own numbers. This would be an interesting match if it came down to it.

Kaz chuckled a bit at Tricity. "Taken from her doctors' 'care'? Do you have ANY idea what kind of experiments they were doing to her and to the young children there? No of course you don't. You didn't bother to look into it. Or...maybe you did. But didn't do anything because they were human. That would fit with Xavier's thoughts. 'We have to make peace, be friends, and live in harmony with humans, so we shouldn't attack them, accuse them, or make them stop hurting and scaring mutants'." Kaz spoke threw a sneer. " 'But it's fine to go after other mutants because if they get in the way of OUR goal, OUR way of doing things OUR rules, we can just get rid of them.' Just like you did to the Brotherhood!" He was now talking out his ass so to speak, he enjoyed seeing the aggravation on their faces.
"They were rescued, they've been giving homes, given the chance to go free, to live their lives as they choose. We've done nothing to Jack. She's in good health. We've been helping her get a grip on her ability, or I should say Syn has. She's the only one who can." Kaz moved away from Deathstar and towards the growling girl, taking a round about way, his eyes locking on to hers. "There's no one being held against their will. If you wanted, and the others agreed, I'd let you check for yourself." Kaz spoke the truth...mostly. Sentenal had been moved to a different location within the building, in the upper floors. Iris was no longer at KP, and the other captives had already been released. Before they had gone up to ground level, Kaz had set the cells to do a 'Deep Clean'. Meaning anything that wasn't PART of the cell, was fried off completely, or otherwise destroyed, this also happened in the hallway once they had stepped out. The beds, toilets, sinks, and food dispensers had gone back into the cell walls leaving the cell rooms completely empty, like storage cells.
He looked at the wolf girl and began to growl, a beastial sound. Deeper and more guttural than a human should be able to make. His shoulder twitched slightly. It rippled down his entire arm. His voice was deep, like his growl as he spoke, "Keep that wolf form under wraps my dear. Otherwise I may just own a new fur coat when we're done." A smile ran across his face, "Though a panther skin would be much nicer me thinks."
Emerald's low growl continued, the feralness in her starting to show. She let out a snarl, her Lupine canines showing in the light. She didnt like this guy and as soon as Tricity said she could she would attack him.
"Its not the wolf you should be worried about. " Emerald snarled at him. "Youre lucky we didnt meet before I joined the X men because If we did I would have already ripped your arm out of its socket and shoved it down your throat. But you should be glad I respect my leaders orders."

"Right, it's that half beast form of yours I should worry about." Kaz snickered. "I doubt you'd be able to lay a scratch on me, let alone rip my arm off." Kaz burst into a full on laugh. "Respect your leader. Sounds more like you should be wearin a leash, you're pretty whipped! Letting your 'Master' give you orders like a common house dog."
Kaz stopped his banter for a moment as something crossed his mind and he voiced it. "If we had met before you joined the Xmen, I probably would like you better. If what you say is true, you've become a pansy."
Deathstar stepped out of the van following closely behind Tricity, This was her first mission and she didn't want to screw up the plan, she wanted to prove herself to Tricity that she is ready and willing to die for her teamates even though she doesn't get along with half of them. She was mesmerized byTric's power and knew why she was the team leader. As Tricity gave orders, Deathstar reluctantly followed her orders and reamained silent as Tricity spoke with Kaz.
She stood confident with her arms crossed and legs shoulder width apart, awaiting Tric's signal to battle although that was not her true intentions. During the conversation Tricity and Kaz, he spoke of Syn which opened Deathstar's rage releasing her deep dark secrets in which she knew the others would test her loyalty. Out of words Deathstar clenched her teeth and fists, biting her tongue, "Tricity" she says between her teeth aggravated by Kaz cowardly confrontation, "Please let me take him out" she tells Tricity as she took a deep sigh holding back emotions she never thought she will ever feel again after the death of her parents.
Kaz stood behind her but that didn't phase Deathstar she remained calm as possible and close her eyes holding back the urge to sap him dry. In the mist of the confrontation, the woman who Deathstar despised and have the most hatred toward. walked out the shadows and emerged from the place she was hiding. "Syn you b#tch!, you better pray you have a quick death" she belched out in between the conversation between Tricity and Syn.
Deathstar could hear Kaz babbling about the orders plans and so fourth, all that was on her mind was Syn, but Deathstar knew she had to achieve their initial objective and stood calm throughout the rest of the meeting.
Bang, went the glass doors as Nail slammed them open and stepped out onto the front steps.
"Alright, lets get this over with."
He was shirtless, with a towel around his shoulders. His hair was flatened slightely, and was damped. He wore the Jeans he had been waring almost a week ago when he was hauled off here, They were ripped and dirty, but they were the only clothes he had left. His expression was anything but happy. He scanned over the crowd of people, looking over the faces. He figured the ones in the matching uniforms were the so called X-men. Those were the people he had to deal with.
He tossed his towel aside. almost immidiately, diamond began to form along his body. His armor was spiky, with sharp points running along his back, arms, and legs, like fish or lizard spines. A thin three foot blade of crystal shot from his wrist, looking quite deadly.
"The names Sentinel."
His left hand lifted towards thecrowd, beckoning them to come and attack. He was finding it hard to keep still, and he needed to keep moving. Fighting these people was the only way for him to fix his little problem, and if he got hurt, it wasn't like it would matter. He was pretty much skewed no matter what he did right now.
But this is what he had always wanted. To see the world unshielded. To see the struggle between mutants for what it really was. He suposed this is what he got for jumping blindly into the mix like this. Nothing he could do about it now.

As one the twins yawned. All this talking was doing was boring them to sleep. Posturing, threatening, more talk, more posturing. From the way Abyss reacted, he was ready for things to happen, as was Isabel.
>If things don't start popping soon, I say we give it a little 'nudge'.<
"Agreed." Amp continued to watch. Something about that echo was bugging her. It would stop, then start, then stop again. She kept scanning the crowd, trying to figure out which mutant it was coming from. But with most of them it was nearly impossible to tell what they were capable of. And they were all so calm, it was uncanny.
Well, most of them were calm.
The girls perked a little as one them lashed out at Syn.
"Sister, huh?"
>So much for family ties.<
"Tragic!" Amp chuckled aloud.
But then something else caught their combined attentions. Another set of footsteps, this time coming from inside the building. As one both girls turned and looked. A split second later the door banged open an another guy appeared. The pair raised matching eyebrows. When the crystal blade appeared, the other set of eyebrows went up. They looked at each other, then back.
>"Ooooh, this is going to be sooooo much fun."< Amp looked at Syn, grinning from ear to ear.
Kaz was adding fuel to the fire. More of the unknown mutants began stepping forward, including another who came through the door. He introduced himself as Sentinel. 'That sounds familiar... Was he at the mansion at one point?' she thought, watching yet another mutant step forward. He reminded Tricity of an old friend who wasn't completely red, but blue instead.
"If all you came to do is talk, why bring so many with you to listen?” he inquired.
Tricity turned to him with a smile. "I like taking my friends out. I'd like to see Jack then, please," but before there could be any reply, the red mutant had suddenly created clones which seemed to attack each X-Men. Tricity grumbled in annoyance and decided there was no avoiding a fight. They all began defending themselves.
The first clone swung at Tricity and she ducked, grabbing it's wrist and sending a shock through its body. She then kicked it to the side as the second clone advanced. It swung madly at her, but she put both her arms up in an attempt to block the blow. It knocked her backward and she skidded across the ground. She was able to stay on her feet though, summoning more electricity from the high-tec security system that held up the facility. Her eyes began to change to black as her body absorped more power.
Dominic hopped out the second truck and cracked his neck. Frankly, he was hoping for a good fight. He had a feeling this wasn't going to go down as easy as Tricity always liked it too. Couldn't blame her though. He walked with the rest of the X-Men as Tricity tried her best to talk it through.
Deathstar seemed to know many of these mutants here. He wondered what their history was. The one that now stood behind her was really starting to piss him off. If Star didn't take care of him, Dominic knew he would give him a hard right hook instead. Well, maybe he would regardless if Deathstar did or didn't. He recognized the red mutant from The Sanctuary and looked over at Raphael to see if he remembered him as well. Of course he recognized Syn too, thinking how it was a shame she was on the other side. Otherwise he may have been trying to hit on her.
There were a good number of them to handle. This could really be a tough battle and someone new seemed to step out of the shadows every other second. His eyes fell to the red mutant again when the clones had appeared. Dominic immediately put his fingertips together and pulled them apart, revealing his wires. One clone came charging at him and he quickly spun out of the way, but it had turned and rushed him from behind. It hit Dominic hard in the back and the two toppled over in a brawl on the ground. These clones were strong...
Wow. Mr. High and Mighty wasn't the one to start the fight, some red guys were. Fade got up from her stealth mode, while still invisible and looked from the X-Men to the entrance. The entrance had too many mutants blocking it so she'd have to wait until they filed out of the way before she went looking for Jack.
For the time being, some red dudes were attacking. Odd. She pinned some of the members of the Order with their role, but she wasn't sure with the others. The annoying one that wouldn't shut his trap was the talker, the crystalishy one wanted to walk, but he didn't seem ready and that red guy, excuse me, those red guys, were the ones that tried so hard to walk that they brought about their fall much faster. Ignorant Ordereans. Fade was glad that she chose the right side. Eyeing the area as she saw that Tricity and the other X-Men would be fine with the red creatures, she targeted the crystal boy, she'd just call him Jared for the Galleria of Jewelry. She scuttled over to Jared, seeing the crystals jutting out of his mutated body. Thank God I have these claws or ouchies. She mentally muttered to herself before she grabbed ahold of him with her raptor-like claws, phasing through his crystals and grabbing on before she used most of her strength to throw him to the side. Primarily to get him scared for not being able to see his attacker. Fade wasn't a strong X-Man but she could deal with pain and muscles.
Thorn came out of the building, late, of course. Her cigarette hung loosely on her lips as she took the last drag, dropped it on the ground and then stepped on it. Her usual attire consisted of her black corset and pinstriped pants. Her hair was pulled back and her make-up was well-applied. When she saw that some of the fighting had already begun, she walked forward and leaned up against the wall. She's just see how her red friend would handle the X-Men, who knew, maybe she'd give him bragging rights, or maybe she'd poke fun at him when they lined up shots.
Thank God her surgery had been completely and she was fully recovered for this battle. Within milliseconds, thorns shot out from under her skin and clung to her body. They began as green but they were tipped with titanium, the result of her surgery. With an air of enjoyment, she walked forward, ready to take on the first person that dared her. Although, one though did remain. Which one of these red guys was her drinking buddy? She can't very well have a drinking buddy with a hole in his throat, where's the fun in that? So she scanned, not only looking for him, but looking for her fighting mutant that she would 'tussle' with.
Abyss rushed the X-Men after Nail arrived. Shortly after him Thorn also arrived. The Order's numbers were growing. This was going to be a tough fight for the X-Men. Syn smiled at her sister but remained in her position at the top of the stairs. She wanted to see what kind of powers their opponents had. She ahd already seen Tricity use her electricity. One of the guys from the tour in Sanctuary made some kind of wire come out of his hand. He might've made a good assassin. Too bad he was on the wrong side she thought.
Then for some strange reason Nail seemed to fall off to the side. It was as if he had been tripped or possibly thrown. She knew he couldn't fly so it had to be one of the other two options. Quickly turning to the twins Syn got them started. "Do you detect anything strange?"
Deathstar wasn't afraid when more mutants emerged from inside the building, This in fact added fuel to her fire. As the two groups was going word for word with each other, Deathstar notice a mutant made of diamond skin and a red grotesque beast standing in a fighting stance.
"Alright, lets get this over with." said the man made of diamond skin
Deathstar notices two deadly sharp blades coming form his arms, she knew then they were not going to give up jack that easy, "If its a fight they want, a fight we should give them" she said out loud so the opposite team could hear her. Deathstar stood firmly with her arms to her side with clenched fist ready to strike. Before Tricity gave the okay to battle the beast like created clones of himself and sent them charging toward them. While the other clones attacked the X-men, the original puts his arms around her, Deathstar thinking it was some sort of an attack, she tries to manuever herself from his grasps but to no avail Deathstar knew what she had to do. Her eyes faded to black as she grabs his arms absorbing his ability shooting agonizing pain throughout his body, it was then when she notices something familiar about his touch but shrugs it off and continues sapping his ability of superspeed and superstrength. She releases her grip on him for her true intentions was to just to release his grasp of her. "Who the hell do you think you are grabbing me like that" she says to the red guy as she walks to away to help her team.
Noticing Tricity getting double teamed by the clones, Deathstar ran to her aid, stopping one clone from charging toward her again by punching him using the beast superstrength she just absorbed sending him flying 20 feet into air landing on the concrete surface. Not knowing if her punch effected the clone that much, she quickly ask Tric, "Tricity now what?", she asks while watching her back for other surprises.
