The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Desiree immediately backflipped once, twice, three times. She landed with both feet on the second rope, while her hands gripped the top tope. She pulled hard, as hard as she could, stretching the top rope up and the middle rope down. Like a bow and arrow, she shot into the air aimed for Daria. The crowd began chanting: "Holy sh*t, holy sh*t, holy sh*t!".

Daria's immediate instinct was to teleport and almost did. She blinked so fast that no one could really notice but stayed where she was. Desiree was flying so hard it was impossible to dodge.
Daria braced herself to fall as she had learned to do so.

Desiree flew at Daria, and soared over her. She'd hooked Daria's neck with her arm, driving Daria onto her back on the mat. This flying neckbraker usually hurts alot, and Desiree instinctively attempted to quickly lock in the katahajime, or as she called it the Tazmission. The crowd roared with anticipation.

It did hurt Daria when she hit the ground but she had heightened endurance since the mutation. Still, sharp pangs of pain shot up her spine, she'd been expecting to fall with Desiree on top of her and had not prepared for the right fall.
Still she didn't give Desiree any time to do her next move. She bent her knees and planted her feet firmly on the ground. Pushing up with her left arm she help onto Desiree with her right, intending to slam the girl onto the mat.

"Shi-" Desiree started to say, but was cut off as her face slammed into the mat, she rolled over quickly, and got to her feet. She rushes back to Daria and attempts a Pedigree:

The move succeeded but Daria rolled from her grasp and painfully stood at the other side of the ring. The crowd was cheering for Des and jeering at Daria.
She narrowed her green eyes at Desiree and regained her focus. She didn't want to lose control.
She shook her body like a cat, her earings jingling. She went in again doing a strong spinning roundhouse kick aimed at Desiree's torso.

Unfortunately, Desiree backed away too awkwardly, and the kick slammed into her ribcage, snapping one rib. "Gah!" Desiree yelped, backing up. She stumbled over to the corner, resting on the turnbuckle with her back towards Daria. She appeared to be seriously injured from the kick, but was actually biding her time. She listened intenly for the movement of Daria on the mat.

Daria sniffed the air. Desiree was hurt, but she couldn't tell how hurt, not from a smell. There was no blood. Daria crept forward silently. She was light on her feet, and although there was no sound and the movement was almost unnoticible the trained mind could feel her appproaching.

Desiree solidly planted her feet on the bottom ropes in the corner of the ring, and with incredibly agility backflipped over Daria, attempting to lock in the katahajime once again.

Desiree brought her legs up, folding them across Daria's belly and locking them in place. The two fell back, slamming onto the mat. Desiree held back a scream of pain from her ribs, and tightened her grip. The crowd was going crazy, and the referee was right in front of Daria's face asking if she'd give up.

Daria didn't like he phrase "giving up" She refused to even acknowledge the referee and continued to rock back and forth pressing herself against Desiree's body because she knew the girl was injured.
The referee and the crowd, however, knew that Daria could not move and he declared the match Desiree's victory.

The moment the bell rang, Desiree let go, rolling Daria off of her. Not because of her pain, but because she wanted to make sure Daria was alright. She held a hand to her broken rib, which happened to be poking out of her skin a good three centimeters. "Shit, you got me good." Desiree said, looking down at her protruding rib bone. "You alright Daria?" desiree asked. For the moment, Soul's hatred for Daria and Desiree's disliking of cats was gone, replaced by her good sportsmanship and general concern for others.
