Kaine stepped away from his bike removed his helmet and walked to the waterfall where him and Tricity had come.

The area had been wiped clean of any clues or evidence even the burnt grass from the flash bang grenade has been replaced.

"Wow they were professional" kaine noticed a car parked on the roadside with a man in a suit and black sunglasses.

Kaine turned and faced off the water fall concentrating hard on the task in hand.As he concentrated the car began to rise as a shadowy hand pushed it up and held it there.

Kaine turned quickly and dashed to-wards the car staying low to avoid any bullets that may be fired. Kaine reached the car and activated his powers engulfing him in shadow infusing him with the strength of the surrounding shadows.Kaine pushed his hand threw the window of the car and ripped it clear of its hinges. the man reached inside his suit and pulled out a berretta handgun.

"Get the f*** away from me mutant scum" he screamed as a bullet went whizzing past kaine.

Kaine had lost his shadowy veiner and was in his normal state again as he wrenched the man from the car into a heap on the floor.

The man rose firing another shoot at kaine grazing his shoulder threw the leather jacket kaine dashed forward quickly before another shoot was fired.

Kaine grabbed the end of the gun twisting it and the man wrist around, then applying a sharp hard blow to the wrist as the gun fell to the floor. There was a loud crunch as the mans wrist broke

kaine grabbed him by the lapel and punched him in the face "Who sent you? mother f***er!Answer me? damn it!" Kaine said slamming him against the trunk of a tree. kaine used his powers to make the gun appear in his hand by making it travel by shadow there.

Kaine was in a very agitated state he knew he had made a mistake kissing tricity then every one at the mansion were scared of him because of the stone in his arm and the mission in his brain.

Kaine pushed the gun into the man jaw "speak damn it" the man jerked slightly and pushed kaine trying to escape. In a moment of fear and Adrenalin kaine pulled the trigger sending a bullet into the mans brain sending a mix of blood and brains to cover the grass the tree and kaine.

"OH S**T" Kaine dropped the body as it fell limp on the grass. Kaine knew what he had to do he looked through the mans wallet and found exactly the two things he hoped wouldn't be there one was a picture of the man and his family two kids a wife and himself. The other was a business card from witch kaine could decipher from the name on his driving license was his saying Tom Franklin journalist.

Kaine knew that he didn't have long someone would have heard the gunshot and would be coming to investigate kaine dragged the body to the edge of the water fall and kicked it off hearing a loud splash as it hit the water.

Kaine tucked the gun into his combats and walked to-wards his bike nervously.
