The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Getting restless Ire slowly made his way down the beach. His curiosity for who this other person was compelled him to proceed to the water. Who ever he was he had a energy about him that was dark yet at the moment it seemed to be less intense then Ire believed it could be. Saying nothing Ire stood a few feet from the two.
He smiled and shook her hand but was looking right past her directlyt into Ire's eyes, and did not let go until he had said the rest of his piece. "I hope you know this man. Hes definatly an assassin of sorts. A field I know much about." He said indicating Ire with whom he hadnt broken eye contact.

Ire smiled under his mask. "Haven't been called an assassin in a good long time, I do truly miss that title." Ire looked Cage over for a minute then turned his attention to Tricity.
"It's been quite some time Tricity, things have been well?" He asked as if nothing had happened between the two.
*she turned around quickly, backing up near cage.* ire! wh... *tricity swallowed and then began to speak again.* things have been fine. how about you? killed anyone lately?
Cage laughed. It was an easy rolling laughter, one of pure entertainment. "Delilah hes an assassin, we make it a point to be good at what we do and a good assassin never boasts of his victories or his reputation. He or she as the case may be merely slinks in and out of shadows and the dark taking care of what business has been laid before us." Cage looked Ire over thoroughly while he spoke to Delilah. "You kill in the ways of old, where did you study from if you dont mind my asking?" Cage was not only partially hiding Delilah but also very curious. He did not often see people walking around with dual swords, or that kind of mask. Besides this stranger might know where to find thggat cop who killed his father.

Ire looked Cage in the eyes and spoke distantly, "It's not a question of where, it's one of when. I trained in a time far before this one, a time where it was a necessity to be trained in such ways. The weak fell and the strong prevailed, here there is a degree of this but little honor is maintained in this decaying time."
well it seems you are falling well into place here, ire. *tricity said, seeing the nearest lightpost was some distance away. she couldnt help but make sarcastic remarks, though the last thing she wanted was to get into a fight.*
Taking a leap in the dark Cage asked Ire. "So what is it you can do, Assassin?" Cage had his hands in his pockets just in case but they were not the hands of a human. He didnt fel like fighting but he didnt want to be caugh unawares by this new power. Whatever his ability was it was powerful and dark. He could sense a calm fury in this man. He wanted to know more about him even though his instincts told him to just shut up and watch. He agreed with his instincts but wanted this one question answered.
*she tugged on cage's arm* let's just go...come on... *tricity began to walk backward as she held onto cage's arm, but he didnt budge.* cage, let's get out of here!
Cage nodded to Ire. "Good day, Assassin." Ire nodded too and Cage turned to go with Delilah. It felt good to have a woman look out for him again. It had been quite some time but he tried not to show it. His mind raced with so many thoughts right now. He wanted to know more about the shadow king. He wanted to know more about this beautiful woman tugging his arm and why she was doing that. He shrugged it off and followed her to wherever it was she was headed.

Ire smiled, "Walking away with your tail between your legs Tricity? I had no intention of starting trouble here but I see your one track mind would not let you see that." Standing on the sandy beach he simply watched the water.
Cage followed his instincts now completely and let them shout it out. He had learned long ago that keeping quiet during verbal spats earned him not only respect but something much more valuable....information. He made up his mind that in the future he would seek out this shadow king and chat with him some more when the time was right now however the time was wrong and he knew it. He opened the drivers side door for her as she glared at the other man. "May I come for a ride, Delilah. It has been sometime since I have been in a nice car like this." he mused looking over the car with appreciative eyes.
