All of these people... And... A child? A CHILD?!
"Whoever did this moved on a while ago..."
CRASH!
His fist met the wall next to him and it crumbled upon having a deep well of energy shoved into it. "DON'T SAY THAT. YOU DON'T F@#$ING SAY THAT!" He took another step closer to her as he screamed. After the words left his mouth, and he felt his own heart beating a rapid pace in his chest, he stopped to gather himself.
"I..." No, not apologizing. "We need to get back on Clive's trail. We're wasting time here... We should go." He turned, and headed off down the streets, clenching his fists and teeth as he walked... He couldn't wrap his head around this, but there was nothing he could do about it... If Megan said they were long gone, they were long gone. Clive wasn't so far off, though, and they had to catch him... He had many crimes to pay for.

His reaction to the news was... unexpected.
She jumped that time.. nearly out of her own boots. Violent anger in response to her answering one of his questions was new.. and... very, very frightening.
Gulping down a lump that suddenly formed in her throat, she fought back the urge to turn and run. This wasn't him.. this was.. someone else, someone she'd never met before. Whoever had left that mark on his chest had undone him on some level.
"We need to get back on Clive's trail. We're wasting time here... We should go."
She nodded, not saying a word back. It was hard enough to keep her hands from shaking as she pulled her face mask back up; she didn't trust her voice not to quiver. She honestly couldn't even begin to try and understand what his problem it, and while it did manage to wound her feelings that he'd explode on her in such a way, she was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and let the matter slide. He didn't want to talk about it? That's fine... she had things she hated talking about too.
Her mindset didn't subtract from the fact that she probably wasn't going to risk talking to him for a while, lest he fly into a rage again and didn't happen to be a wall around for him to take it out on.
