The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Drago had been traveling for a long time trying to find a place where people were like him and understood him. He had heard a little about the mutant registration act and he was torn between whether or not he should join what people called the resistance or if he should just give in and go to one of the camps. Drago had made his way to New York. He was sitting on a bench in the middle of Central Park watching a young boy and his father play catch when it happened. The boy missed the ball that his father had thrown to him and the ball rolled to Dragos feet were it stopped with a gentle thud as Drago bent down to pick up the ball and hand it to the boy who was heading his way his arms started to hurt and he started to transform into his partial dragon state. Drago let out a yell as the boy got closer. The little boy not knowing what was going on looked at Dragos hand and realized that it was no longer a hand but a claw. The boy looked in horror as Drago continued to transform. The young boy started crying for his dad who quickly came to his rescue. Drago had tears in his eyes as he saw the terror he had instilled in the boys heart and as things blurred and his eyes changed he read the boys fathers lips as they said freak. Those words burned Drago deep down inside as they were the same words that had plagued him since these powers reviled themselves to him. These thought faded away fast though as Drago saw guards running to him. He sat for a moment wondering whether or not he should just give up and be taken off to the camps. After a moment thought he realized that he would never let himself be caged liked that. As the guards rand to him he stood up and started running at the one to his right. In one move he grabbed the guards throat and slammed him into a tree squeezing with all his might. the guard stood no chance and within second feel limp in Dragons hand next he turned to the other to guard running up behind him and in one breath shot a spiraling vortex of fire out of his mouth incinerating the two guards. Drago new that more would be coming and that he had to flee. He took off out of the park and into the streets. As he ran he could hear people screaming with terror at the site of him. As angry as this made him he really couldn't blame them for their fear. He quickly dove into an alley way and kept running. He knew that he had to hurry and transform back into his normal self so he hid behind a dumpster just a few feet away from a fence. As felt the scales retracting and his eyes began to go back to normal he heard more guards coming toward him. Once his transformation was complete he jumped up with fake tears in his eyes for he new he had to come up with a lie and put on a show for the guards. He told them that the dragon man had thrown him into the dumpster and jumped the fence fleeing from the scene the guards took off on this false trail that Drago had givin them. As he walked back to the street he realized he must find some body from this Resistance and in a hurry if he were to ever make it in this world.
Nigel had watched all that had happened in the park, and followed the chase at a distance. He saw the boy emerge from the alley into which the guards had rushed having reverted back to his normal stated and sauntered up alongside him.
“I see you lost them then,” Nigel mentioned casually, “Though you lose control like that again and you may not be so lucky next time.” To make his point Nigel jerked his thumb back over his shoulder. A pair of Stalkers had arrived and were now beginning to prowl the area.

Drago looked over his shoulder at the Stalkers following behing them. "Who are you and what do you want with me?" Drago asked with a hint of apprehension in his voice.
“I’m offering you protection from them,” Nigel said gesturing to those around him, indicating humans, “and a chance to fight back against this injustice. The man I work for disapproves of this law and is working to see it defeated.”
Nigel had kept them moving. They had discovered that Stalkers had a sense of smell, and sooner or later the pair that had just seen would be on them. “Whatever you decide, decide fast. We got about two minutes until those machines track you down.”

"Anything to fight back against this injustice." Drago said without hesitation "These humans treat us like scum simply because they fear the abnormal and they refuse to try and accept that we are just like them. I will do what ever it takes to make them pay."
“Smart call,” said Nigel as he opened a car door and guided the boy into it. Shutting it behind him he quickly got in the other side. Pushing a button on the dashboard the car released a chemical that, while odourless to humans, would mask the boy’s scent. As far as the Stalkers would know he would have vanished into thin air.
Nigel then set off towards the lab. With another member the resistance seemed to be steadily growing. Soon they would have a veritable army of mutants. Problem was that the government has a veritable army of Stalkers.
