>> "My concern is for those of our kind, the rest are not my concern. When our people are safe, i will care for the animals as well. However i do not think i will see old age much less our peoples inheritance of the planet."
So this was the true mindset of the mutant supremacist... part of him could relate to her. It was the part of him that wondered whether mutants were still "human" or whether they were a different class of being all together. Nate had nothing against most humans, and he did not feel any more superior than he did just being him. He wanted to argue with her, but it was her M.O. to see mutants on high, and until that interfered with his life, he would just walk away.
>> "Still these humans were certainly no credit to their people... Mutants are more fun to fight but i try very hard to avoid mutant deaths."
She hunted gang members, which, as murderous psychopath plans go, was pretty grey on the karmic scale. After spending plenty of his own time in the dark corners of the streets, he could confidently say the loss of a scummy life did not phase him. The path would be almost noble if it was not clear that this girl killed gang members for sport.
>> " i am curious as to your shadow's various uses. I do love seeing the various powers of our people."
Nate paused his search through the phone when she commented on his power. Normally he would be the first to flaunt his shadow mastery, but this girl was a criminal. There was no telling what would happen the next time they met-- he might need a trick or two up his sleeve. "Maybe next time, sugar."
He found the contact in his phone and his finger hovered over the call button. "You should get going though; I have a call to the boys and girls in blue to make, and I doubt they'd react well to a cute little gang-hunter relaxing on the scene."

"It was nice fighting with you, and fighting with a handicap i suppose is not bad sometimes" She said about her shadow friend and about not killing the Humans. Aura almost always enjoyed other Mutants other then the adapted's. They were Mutants but their powers bothered Aura to no end as Aura never felt comfortable without her aura wrapped around her body. Even Off it was still actually there waiting for her.
Aura glanced down at the Wingless girl again. Weather she was on M or was a Mutant wonderd Aura's mind for a few moments. She guessed in the end if their was even a chance the girl was mutant she had to try and help. Aura shook her head hoping if the girl was human she would be at least grateful for what they had done. For better or worse she would live this day and Aura found herself smiling, it was over now in any case.
"Personally i think hanging around and ambushing the cop's would be fun perhaps even a good work out. However Orders are Orders" she said with a shrug. SHe made sure to step on the M Mutant who had struck her, but she left no damage on the man. Her eyes scanned the horizon to judge where she was and then Aura walked into a thick cluster of trees knowing the shadow and the darkness of the growing night would obscure her enough. SHe hoped she would meet the Sahdow man again.
