The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Danger was right, a danger for anyone dumb enough to go in there and do anything. Yet there it was, itching to be used. Sure a person with more reason and such would make sure there was someone down there with them before setting up a session, well why do that if the whole purpose of going there was to get away from others?
Here he was though, stuck in a tough spot. Literally. With the room set up like the city, his body was stuck between two buildings halfway down. Having a really good view of his shins, Hokee took these moments to catch his breath. The gap between the two buildings was an easy jump, yet somehow he messed it up in his own cockiness and was now shoved between the two like a contortionist.
This was one way to get out of doing homework....or any sorts of work. Problematic though was the Taco Bell he had for lunch, and the southern burps weren't very pretty. What he really needed to do was get his head above his knees again. Walk up the wall that way and then he wouldn't have to drop to the ground on his head.
The muscles in his legs and lower back were already starting to protest the cramped style. There had to be a reset button or something that he could activate the scenery to change or possibly give him a soft landing. If there was, well he hadn't paid attention to it when he should have. Smooth move ex-lax.

Boop beep. Beep boop. Huh?
It seemed the Danger Room was already in-use. Shin stepped away from the access panel and tilted his head at it, like it had to be lying to him.
The doors opened. He stepped on in.
Hey, who was that up there? Speaking of, what the heck kind of situation was this?
A few moments of focus let him summon up a triangular green platform to check all of these things out, and more. Rising up off the ground, Shin went to talk to the poor soul stuck.
Turns out, he wasn't a poor soul after all.
Shin crossed his arms and frowned at the guy. "Hey." He said. "Just what happened here?"
Good thing he didn't eat one more burrito or he might be busting his head like a cracked egg in a frying pan. Wiggling one shoulder blade up then the other, he was getting closer at maneuvering his arms at least into a position where they would be a bit more useful. It was during this slow process, the room adjusted in a new range of lights as someone entered in on him. Hitting his head back into the wall a bit, he was a bit distraught about being found in his current position. The likeliness of anyone believing him having complete control over the situation would be a bit far fetched.
Working harder to get himself in a position where he didn't look as foolish, he was soon interupted by a floating male with an Eastern Asian appearance. Wasn't this the guy with the grandma and elephant? Yeah, weird dude that didn't say much of anything but whatever. The guy was floating up in the air on a green float. Cheap.....why didn't he have one of those.
"Hanging out." Smartass answer, not always the best, but what was he going to say, certain not that he missed his jump and got himself wedged in between the two buildings. Good thing there were not birds in this. He would have a harder time not falling down if pigeons were roosting on him or smacking his face with feathers. The squinted eyes looked over the guy. "What you doing?" He had every right to know, this was his training idea not Mr. Floating pants. The name was slipping his mind, but when your toes were higher then your head, how well would you remember a name of a guy you didn't really know?

>>"Hanging out." Smartass answer.
Smartass reponse time. "Cool."
He did not seem excited as if this situation was 'cool'. Whatever the situation was, it looked like someone was at fault for it.
What was he doing?
"Just floating by." He said. A pause. He continued. "Has Kealey talked with you about your punishment for ignoring her orders and driving that golf cart into a crowd of people?" He asked.
The muscles in his neck were screaming against his current condition. He was going to need one hell of a hot shower later today for sure, that or find one of those full release massage places on the street. He could go for a good full body pampering. Sliding one foot up a bit, he maneuvered his body a bit and was able to move up the wall about a foot. He certainly wasn't going to ask for help now, not with Mr. Floaty pants. Okay, so he was on a platform but whatever.
"What's it to you China Town?" Not the best thing to say, but when your neck was getting all tight and your legs were locking, it wasn't like roses were going to spout out from his mouth. A person doesn't exactly always think clearly when they were stuck between two walls like this. He had to get up and not bust his skull in the process. This wasn't exactly the time or place for him to hold a conversation, he was a bit preoccupied. Still, the stubborn ass he was, he kept at the wall.
"The mission was a success. So what a golf cart did whatever, deal with it." His words were a bit directed, but it could have been worse. On the plus side, he wasn't getting an atomic wedgie from the climbing stunt he was stuck in. Having a pair of boxers trying to floss him out wasn't something he wanted to experience anytime soon. Pushing up with his palms, the teen's back slid further up the wall. "You weren't there, so just go and do something else, I'm busy here."
Gravity was a real mistress today, one nasty mistress. "Probation?" With his foot sliding down a bit, his head turned to watch the lowering mutant. Did this seriously just happen? Here he was stuck between a rock and a hard place, and the guy had to come in and pull some bull on him. About ready to call his session short, he certainly wasn't going to let the guy just walk in and tell him this crazy stuff.
"Probation my a**." The delinquent mumbled. There was no way he was going to get stuck in any probation crap. Leaders or whatever, that didn't make them his boss and it most certainly didn't mean they could tell him what to not do. He was going to have to bounce out of this place soon, and the sooner the better. "I'll Probation you."

"Danger Room. Session, end." Shin stated in an even tone.
The Danger Room obliged. Suddenly, everything in the session blinked out of being. Including the buildings the kid was stuck between. In their place was a whole lot of air.
As an afterthought, Shin added. "A whole lotta pillows. Stat."
There was an explosion of downy feathers behind him as Shin drifted out the door.
Danger Room Session End? What in the world was the guy saying? He didn't have long to think about what was being said, no gravity responded quicker to the change in the room then the teen who had been stuck between two buildings. When stuck between a rock and a hard place, the sensible thing to do would be to get out of it. Hokee had not anticipated being dropped to the ground in the fashion in occurrence. There was no screaming or floppy limps windmilling about, there was no time to make a fool of himself, only time to crash land on his back towards the ground.
Being part cat would be helpful, or if he was made out of rubber, even half a dozen other options for mutation could make the impact a bit more comfortable. Lucky for him though, at least the intruder of his training was nice enough to give him something to land into. His body dropped into the pillows like a ton of bricks. Feathers flew up into the air in a comical fashion. Sinking into the pillows more, the temper was brewing "End session....end you session. ".
