Autisim is a very complicated illness that even some doctors do not understand. Not only has Michael handled the issue well, in a manner that is believable, but he has taken a character who's disability makes social interactions difficult and managed to find ways for him to be a part of a community. I have enjoyed reading his topics and look forward to what he has up his sleeves. Curious for his work? You should be. Finger Paint (Mikey Style) A fun thread with Hokee. Who wouldn't want to paint by flopping over the paper? Be My Valentine Little kid worrying about spilling their punch and not about love and romance? Classic!

I'd like to second the nomination for Michael. I am amazed at how well the handler has a grasp on Autism and pays attention to the little details such as lack of eye contact and such. I love the interactions that Michael had in this thread: Game Over The kid is still new to the area and follows Chase blindly into an environment his character fears. The blind attachment to puzzles seems to help him cope with the world around him. Bravo. He Was Just Scary! Small, scared and totally wet himself. This thread is beautifully written as a rang of emotions are drawn between the characters. Plus there are aww moments like when Sam starts to sing to Michael. Two dreadlocks up!Introduction by Algorithum is a cute little lighthearted thread. You can see how Michael tries to interact with others and just how precious the puzzles are to him. Thumbs up on that one Mikey!

MRO!ladies and gentle!RPers, I present for your consideration a nomination a long time coming: Mr. Simon Oliver Smith. To members of the catachrestic masses, the appellation "Zephyr" may be more recognizable. He's been with us since May 2007; one of our oldest members, yet he's never won Mutant of the Month. A sampling of his recent work: The Ick Factor: in which aeroplanes, trips to England, and doing that with your sister are advised against in equal measure. A true cautionary tale for the ages. The Doctor Is In: in which Zephyr works diligently to ensure that Isabel's pristine reputation is maintained. And Isabel kindly reciprocates. MROians, I beseech you: let us cease our floccinaucinihilipilification of this modest man. It is high time for the fans of Zephyr to rise up, and give Katrina a chance to put a white-haired picture of him on the main page for the lolz applaud this outstanding member of our humble community.
