The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Petunia was strolling down the street. It was late, and if Pix cared enough to carry a watch, she might of walked a little faster. Perhaps if she was really headed somewhere she would be taking on a faster pace as well. What was it that made one feel so important, when they convinced themselves that they were actually late for something? Petunia didn't know. It was magic. So was the 7 black scorpions that laced across her collar bone. She told them to imitate a necklace. so like magic they did. She told the same thing to the large lunar moth that hung off the side of her head and the small white butterflys that hung from the hoops in her ears as subtle decorations.
OK. so she had a bug fettish. she had her reasons.
With a sigh, petunia halted at a cross walk and let her eyes wonder across the street. Looking for something more interesting then the reason why she would be running late.

It was a late night and Jason’s heart had finally calmed down and began to beat a normal beat. He stood on the corner of the street and waited. Waited for something to happen, something to spark his interest. Maybe some stupid human could come by and he could mess with them some, who knows maybe even kill him. But for hours he just stood their in a pair of dark baggy blue jeans and a black hoody. As people approach they began to go out of there way to avoid him. Jason began to pace the corner. “Come on anything.” he thought as he the night got darker and darker.
Jason looked up and saw the street was now empty no cars no nothing, and it was really pissing him off now. Jason’s only choice now was to just go back to the hotel and call it a night. As he turned the block he looked and saw a young lady in the distance. He got a evil grin on his face as he began to walk faster. Sliding his hands in his pockets he began to pick up the pace. Faster, and faster he walked closing the distance he was now only seconds away then he stopped… this girl looked different. “What the hell is that on your head.” He blurted out.
Pix swiveled her head around to look at this person who had stopped her from doing what ever she was supposed to be doing, even if she didn't know what she was suposed to be doing. A smirk quirked across her face all the same.
"It's a bug." She waved her hand as if doing a magic trick with a coin."And here is another." Her hand flattened out to display a large grass hopper. Her hand waved again, and with a flick of her finger she turned her hand the other way, "Another" this was a cockroach. "and again." She flipped her hand around, the cockroach was gone, and she showed the tip of her finger. Where a speck of a bug sat on the very tip. a gnat. "Did that make things clear?" She cooed but her voice was close to a taunt.
What was wrong with people who couldn't recognize what a bug was?

Jason watched on as this woman started doing magic tricks with these bugs. Either she was magic with a really bad gimmick or she was like him. He watched as her hand flipped and twisted then he looked around. The street light above him was flickering on and off. Jason looked around the ground he new he was going to see a roach or two running the streets and stepped down hearing a gooey crunching sound coming from the bottom of the his foot. He looked up at this woman and waited for her reaction. Something in the overboard category was what he was expecting. Anybody that wore bugs sure wasn’t gonna like when one died.
Jason looked on as he lifted his foot from off the ground. With the flickering light you could almost make out the stingy guts sticking to the bottom of his she. He looked back up at the young lady. “How in the hell did that get there?” he asked with a bit of a laugh in his voice.
No! Not bigger crunch, it was the biggest bestest crunch Petunia had ever heard! And she heard a lot of bugs go crunch.
“How in the hell did that get there?”
"Simple, silly. You stomped on the lil guy." She took a step forward and a smirk quirked the side of her face. Her eyes were practically twinkling in the dim lamp light from above.
"Those must be really nice expensive boots. Good solid tred right?" Ok. Perhaps another bug mutant would be offended by someone squishing her bugs, but the thing about making your own bugs is that you can always make more. and at times, when hungry, pix was known to change to a mantice and cannibalize her own creations by biting off their little heads, just like they were animal crackers. It was only nature and nature's way. If big boots meeting bugs happened to be natures way, then so be it.
She dropped a couple more roaches on the cement, then prompted this boy with the most musical feet meet bug talent. "Do it again!"

The crunch almost echoed out in the streets. You could probably have heard that crunch for about a good five feet away if not six. Jason stood there almost happy about what he did and looked to see just how this bug girl felt about what happen but to his surprise she was happy asking to do it again. Using her gift five more roaches appeared out of thin air and Jason started to dance the jig. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. Was heard as the gooey guts from the bugs stretched from his boot.
“Yeah there some decent boots.” he replied as he scraped the rest of the guts of his boots dragging them against the sidewalk. This girl he was talking to was no doubt not normal. Or well normal to him not normal to others. But he could defently tell that she was as sick in the head as he was if not more but that only made him smile and smirk.
“So you got any more tricks over there or you only a one act show?” Jason asked trying to figure out as much as he could. From the way things were going any mutant was a mutant to know cause someone always new something new. And of course if he had to stab someone in the back he had to know just how far around his shoulder he had to keep a watch for.
Well those crunches made some nice music but it could have gone better with something else, rather then being heard alone. Still, she had to get herself a pair of those boots. They could prove hours of useless entertainment for just merely simple footwear.
He asked about her having any other abilities. She just shrugged. Her shoulders raising the rest of her turquoise pleather coat. “Really nothing worth mentioning, unless you’re interested in ever making money off of a real flea circus.”
She smiled as she spoke. No one just randomly asked about things like girls and bugs unless they were psychologists and wanted to use it against you, or if they just plane wanted to use it against you. “So why so interested?” Petunia returned the question.

“Oh nothing, you know just you seemed a little different then most people you meet on the streets these days. So I guess you can say I was just trying to be nosey that’s all.” Jason said trying to sound as convincing as possible. These days it was important to know who did what cause you never know when it could prove helpful to himself.
Jason reached in his pocket pulling out what seemed to be something from one of the house’s he raided earlier. Giving it a quick once over he dropped it and looked back towards this mystery woman. “So I gotta real question for you.” He said with a bit of cockiness in his voice. “How do you feel about humans?” Jason asked with a little anger in his voice. Now this girl was pretty interesting but what was so special about her If he gave the wrong answer he would probably just crush her like her fellow bugs. Cause if it was one thing he couldn’t stand more then a human was a weak mutant.
He told her he was just trying to be nosy. Yeah… ok she could buy that. Right.
She shrugged in response before the second question was asked. She crossed her arms and her head tilted as she looked at him. “I feel the same way about mutants as I do about anyone who asks me too many questions without answering my own.”
A small smirk formed across her face again and her tongue ran across her lips. “They all are very tasty. Why the questions?” she repeated herself. One dark eye brow raised high above the other.

Jason looked down and this extremely short woman. From the looks of it she could have of any age. But being out so late on the streets like these she couldn’t be that young. But then with her reply about them being tasty kind of made Jason give her a second look. She was small and skinny yet gave off the image of herself being big and scary. Or so she wanted people to think.
“So you would eat a mutant the same you would a human huh? Hmm which one gives you the worst gas?” Jason said laughing at his own funny less joke. Jason was starting to get the impression that there was something more to her then just this innocent look she had. She was now giving him the impression that she would cut through a mutant as well as a human if either got in her way… Jason just shook his head in approval. He was starting to get tired of these mutants that were so weak when they had such great power and who knows maybe he could use here to get rid of all the bugs in his place.
By asking that third question he had to know that an answer was coming. She shrugged at the first part. “I’m not particular in regards to the first part of your question. Whatever annoys me, it’s all find and dandy.” She shifted her weight as she looked up to the very tall man, thinking on the answer for the second part of his question. “As far as gas goes, the worst is from the people walking out of the fast food joints with the demonic looking red hair clowns painted in the windows.”
Someone like him must have thought her odd. Her posture and all, not even blinking at the slight aggression in his voice when he first asked his question. “So why all the questions. What makes you want to be so interested? And how do you feel about humans?”

“Well hmm…” he said as he starched his chin as if he as in a deep thought. “Well me I personally hate them! I don’t know I guess the only way I could really be happy was if I had the chance to beat and crush each one of there heads in personally…” he said as he started to go off in his own little dream world. All Jason could do was picture the scenes of him slaughtering all the humans in there homes. Remembering the way the little boys head splattered all over the room like the bugs did when he stepped on it. And the way the lady gasped for air when he drained her of the last minutes of life she had left.
Jason shook his head… “Yeah I don’t like them much. So why you asking me these questions now?” She was small and not his type at all but she was alright by him. As long as she didn’t show no signs of love for any humans that is.
She shrugged. To his violent words. Just shrugging. “They have their entertaining uses at times. Even in their ends.” She moved to the side and began scanning the roads to their left for movement. Anything odd going on and those stupid robots showed up lately. Seemed like they were everywhere.
“They at least make good meat shields.” If nothing else, very entertaining meat shields. “I ask because it’s only fair. I gave you answers.” and the funny thing was, apart from the last few answers, she was willing to bet not all of the answers were straight. Hers weren't
