Night fell outside the bookstore; the ghost could finally rest. Unlike many other ghosts, he was a daytime worker, spooking customers as was his habit and his job description, and keeping quiet once the door was closed. He had all the books in the shop to read at night, and a tiny room in the back with a bed. It was a good life, for someone who was dead.
Krisz knew he could not stay there forever. But for now, having a place to stay and a job till he figured out the rest was good enough.
Everyone else left after work; they locked up the shop and turned off the lights. Krisz was the only one left, lying on his bed, reading a book and sometimes scribbling notes when one thought triggered another. It was a quiet, peaceful night. Kind of perfect, in its own way.

Frustration was never fun and right now that was the predominant emotion that Cosmina was dealing with. Frustration. Jobs had been scarce recently and while that wouldn't make much of an impact on her lifestyle in the short term it certainly annoyed her. When annoyed Mina ended up thinking of all the other little grievances that bothered her. At the moment one in particular stood out.
A certainly ghostly individual named Krisz.
The sheer amount of ire he'd raised in her ought to have ensured his death long ago. It really should have. Why she'd let him live this long without attempting it Mina did not know. Regardless, the attempt would provide her with a good opportunity to relieve the stress. Thus she left her apartment with a few choice weapons stowed on her person and the intent to kill someone.
