The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The hint was like a dangling a piece of cheese over a mouse. Still, it was fun. He couldn't help but enjoy the little things like this. Nothing against Chase or anything, but it always felt good having people acknowledge his superior intellect. It wasn't often he was able to do this, most of the time he would just get that look from adults, that one that said 'you punk you don't know crap' kind of look. Nope, with Chase it was different. This was like he was a god. Now that was how life should be!
Chase's attempt of kicking his own bike was rather pathetic, but it was amusing all the same. This kid was a riot, a piece of art for sure. Maybe it was his age or the innocence of him all, but it was a hoot to watch the guy. The kid saw the world differently then he did, it was unique and cool. Though he most certainly wouldn't express these words to the other guy, that would be dumb. There were elements in the man's world to which people never seemed to really understand, telling Chase such things would be against all man codes.
With his eyes on the screen, hi body was preparing for the game. Sure it was just a video game, but there was a thrill about driving. Being that it was in reality or not, driving was just a fun thing to do. He hadn't really tried riding a real motorcycle before, he might have to give it a shot some day....like in the summer. He could really pick up chicks in the summer. Get those arm muscles going, dreads flapping in the wind. He could have all the girls salivating for him for sure. With a twist of the wrist, the representation of Hokee on the screen was moving forward taking the lead. "Pop into third, skip 2nd. Just push it."

Sophy
As Hokee readied for the game, Chase did so as well, averting his attention from trying to land a kick on Hokee’s bike, to the screen, to the game, small hands clasped onto the handlebars. There was a countdown. Ready… set…. GO! and they were off. Chase fumbled slightly with the unfamiliar controls, but only for a moment, before his hands found out which handle was the accelerator and his digital representation launched into motion. Out of the dozen players on screen, Hokee’s motorcyclist included, Chase was maybe ninth place, kissing eighth. He’d started too slowly and was going to have to pay for it. But, he could see Hokee on his own screen.
“Go, go, go,” Chase chanted, leaning down as if doing so would make him more aerodynamic, make his character catch up with Hokee’s, “Go, come on.”
The group went from the straightaway to a broad left, but he swung it a bit wide and lost some distance and time for it. Chase grit his teeth. He was only nine. Obviously he wasn’t going to be an old pro at the game, wouldn’t be able to keep up with Hokee, but he was still going to try.
