Abyss Handed Seyta one bottle of water and then opened another filling the cup of soup to the fill line and putting it in the microwave for the suggested amount of time.
“Fair enough, you get to call the shots, I am just along for the ride and to scare the hell out of someone. He watched the soup spin slowly in a circle. And once he dinged. He realized what her issue was.
“Oh that would most likely be resolved already, One of those ladies just has that effect on people. Turning abilities off that is.” He would leave it to her to figure out which one. Lori seemed fond of Lenna but he couldn’t get over the fact that she made a little pink pansy out of him. ok so he wasn’t little, but by comparison what do you call a man that couldn’t even lift a car.
Seyta took the water with a smile. Despite his looks Abyss seemed nice enough, though it could easily just be his business attitude.

Seyta nodded, then her powers had already turned back on? This made her relax quite a bit. Now she could run if things turned out badly. Until then she was going along for the ride. "I am hard to notice...It's complicated." Details would come later if he needed them. Right now Seyta wanted to figure out thier plan for the blackmailer.
Taking a swig from the water Seyta watched the timer go off for the ramen. "As for why I'm here. Doing both, I suppose we can do that. I know in movies they copy the letter and send it on its way then wait for the cash to be delivered." After that the movies usually had the entire police force hiding to catch whoever showed up. Seyta had herself and Abyss, intimidating but that might not be enough.
A smirk came to his lips. “Me too.” He had the exact opposite mutation he thought, He might as well have Xgene written on his forehead. A finger went to his lip, “ Ok well then, after you finish your food we can get started.” The ramen finished and Abyss set the hot little bowl on a shelf next to her and gave her a plastic spoon.
He then popped a hot pocket into the microwave. He would finish the hot pocket before she finished her noodles he thought.
“ So I guess firsts things first, we find out where to intercept and where to shake this guy down.”

Seyta nodded taking a few bites of her ramen. Too much salt, store bought ramen was always to salty. "The letter only had one address... I'm guessing that's where it was delivered." Pulling it out she quickly scanned it over again. "Our blackmailer says he will tell them where to deliver the money in three days. If we just send this on its way, I can easily steal the second letter and copy the drop point."
Frowning in thought for a moment Seyta went over every episode of CSI and NCIS she had seen. Granted these where only TV shows but it was the only experience she had to go off of for her ideas. "As long as I put the letter back and resealed the envelope the mayor and his lover won't know we are involved." She grinned turning back to her ramen. The burst of confidence surprised her slightly, if it wasn't for her mutation she would likely be cowering in fear of the large red demon in front of her and completely unable to think.
The pair set to work getting things prepared and set into motion to ensure everything would go smoothly and in their favor. Abyss wasn't going to do something unless he was going to do it right. More than anything, Lori had intrusted the girl to him and he would do right by her, if not just for her, for the reason that this was the first mission handed to him since he didn't know when.
