Omen nodded. "What's address? I've got a little stop I want to make first. Can I meet you there?"

Shade pulled out a receipt and wrote the address on the back.

"Drop by if you don't find a place to stay. Talk to the clerk. He will answer any questions you need." He said handing Omen the note.

Omen's phone rings....When she picks it up and says hello she's greeted witht he sound of Syn's voice. "I heard you came back. It's been awhile. Where have you been and what are you doing now?"

Omen nodded to Shade and pocketed the paper. "I'll probably show up. and if i don't, don't hesitate to call me. Any friend of Syn's..."

She picked up the phone. "Hello?" she laughed when she found out who it was, "Speak of the devil." she said to Shade.

"I'm with Garth. Just got into a bar fight, the usual." she bit her lip and said a bit more softly. "How are you?"

Syn recognized the tone when Omen asked how she was. It was the sort of sound that let someone know they were thought about. It wasn't the kind like 'Oh I remember you' like one might say to an old school friend. No, it was more like saying 'I've been missing you' from someone you care about.

The fact that Omen was with Garth threw Syn off, but then she rememebred the message she had received from Lisa. It told Syn about Garth and a brief description of what he was capable of. What an interesting combination she thought.

"I've been doing well other than being ran out of Sanctuary by the humans. That is something I plan to rectify, but all in due time." Syn's voice softened. "It's good to know you're back."
