The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

>> “N-N-No…I got it.”
The gargoyle girl smiled and nodded. Let it not be said that she wasn't merciful. Gina hummed and danced out of Agnes's way, ushering her past. She allowed Agnes by to answer the door, bouncing up and down on her feet as she waited, watching as Agnes shakily picked her way towards the dormitory door. Agnes looked scared witless.
“You’ll be fine,” Gina murmured, just before Agnes cracked the door open.
>> “Hiii— J-Jasmine? What’re you…?”
“Jazzy!” Gina shouted from the background, still bouncing. She was standing just behind Agnes, so had to jump to see Jasmine, and was waving her hand excitedly, “You made it!”
It took a few moments for her brain to catch up with her mouth. Wait, Agnes knew Jasmine? Gina paused in her jumping and excited waving, her pause leaving enough time for a moment for Agnes to gawk, or… well, whatever she was doing. Well, that saved them from the awkward introductions, if they’ve already been made. Was that a good pause, or a bad pause?
Gina inched closer, peeking over her sister’s shoulder, and grinning between the two girls as she surveyed their faces.
“Say hello to your blind date,” Gina murmured in a stage-whisper. She grinned at Jasmine, then slipped back into the background. Gina couldn't stop fidgeting with excitement, even though Agnes seemed to stunned too get a "good" or "bad" reaction off of yet.
Agnes couldn’t help it. She just…stood there, staring at the pretty face and surprised eyes of a young woman whom she had met, what, months ago? Standing there, she just remained gawking, unable to really comprehend what Jasmine Honey Blossom was doing here. She knew that she was supposed to be meeting a blind date at this time and she knew that Jasmine was actually standing there right in front of her but for some reason her mind simply could not connect the two incidents together. Her mind just refused to fuse the thoughts together.
It was another moment or two as the two of them stared at each other before Gina’s voice finally cut into the white noise blaring so loudly inside of her skull.
>> “Jazzy! You made it!”
Jasmine smirked as she peeked on the other side of Agnes and waved at Gina. She was dressed rather beautifully in nice jeans, a loose purple top, and a beautiful, ring upon her finger. She stood in her high shoes as she smiled at Agnes.
Agnes blinked. So…Jasmine…she really was her blind date? She turned back around to face Jasmine, sheer confusion still covering her features...
“H-Hi…” Jasmine said with surprise as she tried to keep from grinning. “…Agnes…right?”
“Ugh…yeah,” Agnes finally managed to choke out.
>> “Say hello to your blind date,”
Standing back a bit, Agnes simply watched Jasmine as the young lady stood there. Jasmine looked as pretty as she remembered her from the first time she met her. Instantly, in that second, she flashed back to that time when she did. She remembered being hit on the head with a soccer ball, she remembered the cute girl that ran up to check that she was okay, and then she remembered their light conversation as they sought that lost item.
But most of all, she recalled the feeling of gently lifted Jasmine down out of a tree. She remembered the girl’s body pressing to hers, the sweet smell of honey in her hair, and most of all the look in their eyes as they momentarily locked gazes.
A sheer, embarrassed blush crept across her features. She was surprised she remembered it so clearly…
By the look of the blush that rolled across Jasmine’s features it became apparent that she too remembered that event as well. But…if that was the case, why did she run away? Agnes remembered that once they retrieved her lost soccer ball Jasmine just kind of…ran off. It was obvious that the whole situation confused the runaway because of that moment that the two of them nearly shared. She repeated it a few times and convinced herself that she imagined whatever spark was there.
Yet…here Jasmine stood.
For a second she was still frozen in her spot when she realized that Gina was still standing behind them. Suddenly feeling rude she smirked and laughed in an embarrassed manner as she opened the door for Jasmine to walk in.
“Um, I-I’m sorry, I don’t mean to sound so…ugh, my bag, um, would you like to come in?”
“Oh, ugh, yeah. But first,” Jasmine turned and even fiercer red as she held out a small bouquet of calla lilies. “These are for you.”
Shocked by the gift, Agnes momentarily found herself unable to speak as she carefully took the presented gift in her hands. “Uh…thank you,” Agnes’ face began to brighten considerably at the sight of the flowers…her favorites no less.

They just stood there, and half-stared at each other while blushing wildly at some shared reminiscience. And Gina waited, as confused and as patient as ever. She took their expressions to be a good thing... or, at least, the upper right corner of the expression on Jasmine's face. Because Agnes still had her back to Gina, which was really, really annoying. Gina had taken to bouncing to get a better look.
Agnes seemed to recall that Gina was back there. As if the sound of her bouncing excitedly wasn't enough to go by. She stepped aside so that Jasmine may have entered, quickly murmuring that she had to get her bag, but Jasmine interrupted with a small boquet of flowers. Gina beamed broadly at the exchange. This girl was an obvious hit. Ten points, to the gargoyle girl!
Gina moved out of the way so that the two of them could move freely about the room, perching atop her bed so that she was balanced by little more than her feet. She was busy patting herself on the back as Agnes hummed about, getting herself physically and emotionally ready. Gina turned her attention to Jasmine, still wearing her pleased expression.
"You look great tonight, Jazz," Gina smiled at the ensemble, "Where on Earth did you get that shirt?"
>> "Thanks, you like it?"
The two of them chattered about Jasmine's outfit until Agnes was good and ready. And, when Agnes seemed to be finished with whatever-it-was that she was doing, Gina turned her attention to the two of them, appraising them with her eyes. Yeah, she'd done very well. They even looked adorable together. Extra ten point to the gargoyle girl for making a cute potential couple!
"Oh God, you guys," Gina sighed, getting back to her feet and clasping her hands together, "You cute together-- so pretty-- I hope you have fun." She was fawning over the two of them like a proud mother, sending her own children off on their first date.
Agnes was almost floating as she held the flowers up and took a whiff of them. They did smell absolutely wonderful and the fragrance alone just put her on cloud nine. With a grateful sigh she unintentionally hummed to herself as she wandered off to find something in order to put them in.
>> "You look great tonight, Jazz, Where on Earth did you get that shirt?"[/i]
>> "Thanks, you like it?"
While she busied herself in the restroom with a glass, into which she put the flowers and filled it with water, she could hear the sounds of conversation that Gina and Jasmine were having. Just the sheer shock of this meeting was nearly too much for her to understand. What were the odds that the blind date that her young roommate would set her up with, also happened to be a girl that she had met months prior and nearly felt a spark with? It was just too crazy to comprehend.
Once the glass was heavy with water and flowers, she carried it back into the room and placed them gently on her study desk. She hid a smile as she nervously tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Her cheeks still felt flushed from the heat on her cheeks.
But after a taking a breath or two, Agnes returned to the pair and smiled. In her hand she held her small purse which she would carry for the evening.
“T-Thank you again, Jasmine. They’re…very beautiful…” she said with a nod.
“Oh! Haha, I’m glad you like them. I…I wasn’t sure if you would. Big weight off my shoulders,” Jasmine beamed back with a nervous laugh. “Umm…a-are you ready?”
“Oh, heh, yeah,” she said as she raised up her purse and once more settled it over her shoulder. “I’m all set.”
She was still nervous to the point where those butterflies in her stomach could carry her away if they pleased to. But she managed to keep herself calm with some steady breathing as she strolled up to Jasmine. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Gina’s excited bouncing. Oh no…
>> "Oh God, you guys…You cute together-- so pretty-- I hope you have fun."
Fierce blush on her cheeks. Agnes smiled appreciatively at Gina and then glanced to Jasmine. After a quiet understanding that they were ready to go, Jasmine turned to get the door while Agnes followed. A glance back to Gina and she smirked.
“Bye Gina! I’ll call you later!” Jasmine announced happily as she waited outside the room.
Agnes paused then strolled back over the Gina and gave her a little kiss on the forehead. “Thank you Gina. You really are the sweetest sister in the world.”
She grinned shyly as she turned on her heel and headed out the door. She gave her sister one last wave and exited with bated breath. She had no idea what tonight was going to bring.
