The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Don't worry Geo your not missing much >.>
As for the bard thing, They're good if you want to be a jack of all trads, but a master of none. And in that case, whats the point of having a party? Bards are good at lower levels when everyone sucks anyway, but the whole point is to form a party where everyone has a strength and can back eachothers weaknesses up.
But the general consesus im getting here, is that people still want to play. So heres what I'll do. Anyone who actually wants to play, has the time, and has the resourses, post here, and tell us what you want to play. If we have enough people for a real party, we'll start over. I'll make a new thread, and we can be on our way.
Those of you who really want to play, try to nag at other interested people so they can get involved. Thats see if we can keep this one from flopping.
k well... geuss its not going to work out. cause you seem to be the only one damian. Lets not try to rez this ok. It's obvious theres not enough people for that.

more like "What the hell is he doing?! He'll give us...." *guards and sentries come running down the hall towards the sound of singing and flute playing* "...away. *sighs and pulls out sword* Too late."
ROfL! I almost always play a bard. Although I try not to be that stupid Kaz. lol *Only sings when it counts.*
Although what I really find funny are Dwarven defenders that keep falling down holes and don't hear the spell casters IC or OOC because they are yelling too much. (IC and OOC)

That's why they almost always have something that increases reflex saves or automatically cast Feather Fall on them.
I should know because I'm selling those kind of stuff to dwarves in exchange for... 'things'. ;D
By the way, is there any more slots for me to partake in? I only have D&D sessions with my friends on saturdays and we have stopped because of heavy workload.

Dungeons and Dragons Online Games, in short DnDOG. Most games are generally fasted paced (requiring at least one post per day), but I'm sure you could start your own game or see if a GM (on the board) would be willing to work with you or your group if you wanted to do a slower paced game.
