The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Alright everyone, there has been some issues with getting the plot moving due to Timezones, miscommunication or no communication at all. I have a simple proposal to make and I want everyone to listen to it.
Number one, as soon as possible we skip to the night time and a raid takes place within the camps. Were guards go in and attack prisoners and start beating them for no apparent reason except for anger. This is a free for all, but none of the inmates are liable to help one another. They may be to busy getting beat up themselves. These posts will be done by each person in the camps at some point in time if the time jumps before one is able to make a post then as soon as a chance is given to make a post you fill in what happened on the Bloodied raid. All the prisoners will be running, and hiding, ultimate chaos will take place.
It is likely that people may escape during this raid.
Number two, the Resistance members will make a post at the church of humanity there they will wipe out the members of the church that made the registration bill, in order for it not to happen again. A kind of 'cleansing' if you will.
Number three, The surviving x men will come in with all of their bells and whistles on and storm the camp and start saving people. This will take place a day after the raid. A few aggravated Resistance members will team up with the x men and instead of following the order of the Resistance, go on their own conquest, along with the x men to go free the camp inmates.
All of these time periods I speak of are in game.
I would like the peoples opinions on this. I may end up doing this though, creating one post for one thing and one post for another. I Would also like any suggestions.
"Look, I... I may not be an explorer, or an adventurer, or a treasure-seeker, or a gunfighter, Mr. O'Connell, but I am proud of what I am."
I'm all for the idea. Honestly, I could care less about the resistance taking out the CoH, that can happen after the raid and such. But yeah... let's get everyone out of there.
Personally, I'm all for the X-Men and such coming in the day of the raid, either have them come because of it or have the raid happen because they show up tearing down the perimeter.

While I'm all for moving things along, I'm not so sure I agree with this much moving, since it cuts down on rping oppotunities for many people.
In the case of CoH and Registration Bill, Hunter and I are handling that one, working through PMs so we can post efficiently.
In the case of the Resistence, a free for all posting will most likely just add to the confusion, not help it.
Also, when we first were talking of this Plot in planning stages, I was under the impression it was to be a way for Xmen, Order and Kabal to work together. I'd like to see that happen along the way, instead of one particular group going all out.
Also, there hasn't been much Stalker activity, or taking them into account, at least not that I've seen. Which is kind of a shame, considering they are not NPCs, but an actual character.
Well however things happen, they should actually start happening. I'm all for the three groups to work together on this, but we have to get it moving. I think it's pretty ooc to just sit there and not pop in, fight the slaves free, and then port back out again.

If necessary I will make a posting order for the resitance.
Also everyone is united, in the camps they deffinantly are and the resistance is divided though for those who want to act now and those who don't. We just have the disgruntled members of the resistance such as Vibe and Sapphire go over to the mansion, to tell the current leaders of the x men it will take more time at least a week for the people of the resitance to get out. They want to act now.

Yes, that's true. But 'porting in and out' seems to be a simplification of things. It's more than just human guards and normal robots to be dealt with. It's supposed to be hard. A rapid-fire posting kind of makes it hard to be descriptive.
Also, I thought it was agreed that even after the Camps are destroyed, the Stalkers would make a final raid. Is that idea still agree on?

Where at? In monodragon? that would make the most sense.
It won't be rapid fire. If necessary I will make a posting order and monitor it to make sure it makes sense. I will even make note of it in he first post that the guards and robots will be hard.
But you also have to remember the characters are skilled fighters, but just not one hit KOs
"Look, I... I may not be an explorer, or an adventurer, or a treasure-seeker, or a gunfighter, Mr. O'Connell, but I am proud of what I am."
Oh, I agree, it won't be easy. That's just the general plan like a general would say "You parachute in here, go in and destroy the target, then meet the escape chopper here." It's likely going to be damn hard, and some people are going to get very hurt.
As far as rapid-fire posting, I think it's going to be more of a thing to be decided in each camp thread. Each 'team' would likely get a post order. Then the final fight... honestly, it'd have to be free-for-all, because I see no other way of doing it that won't take ten days.
I agree with Iris that it would be a shame not to have all of the groups working together to solve the problem.
There are a lot of things that the resistance has planned that would not get to happen if we did this. Including:
Catching a Stalker to find out what it's weaknesses are, (planning) and (thread) Training, to help everyone learn to work together (planning) Infiltrating the Church, which Hunter and Iris have been working on
There are also cool opportunities with all the connections Sonya has made with Rupert in the camps, the resistance, mutants living on their own outside of the resistance and camps, and the newly reactivated X-men (who haven't actually connected with everyone, but it sounds like Shrapnel was planning on meeting up with them, which would provide a link between the Xmen and the Resistance).
The only people who don't have any thing to do is the people who are in the camps themselves. Perhaps there is something that you could plan just for the camps? If people are tired of being in the camps, maybe those people could break out and the people on the outside could carry on with their plans and just rescue a bunch of NPCs that didn't escape from the camps.
I think that all these plans are interesting and they need to play out in their own good time. It's a shame to rush those things. Things like that would take a lot of time in character, too.

I'm not trying to rush it I just wanted to plan it out so we could get done with the post soon. There has been so much character development and such that I don't think there is really anything to do except wrap things up.
I do want the people to escape from teh camps though. As soon as possible.

Sorry Librarian, I guess I just don't agree. *sigh* Forgive me for saying so, but I just think it's too early to 'wrap things up'. Move ahead, yes. Finish? No. *shrug*

You know, how about this why don't the group of people outside the ones at the mansion, accompanied by some resitance members breack intot he camps . This takes place during a raid and all of the collars have been turned off by Rupert. Because the people in the camps need to get out and leave.
Then the resitance can do there thing to shut the humanity church down for good...or for now.
"Look, I... I may not be an explorer, or an adventurer, or a treasure-seeker, or a gunfighter, Mr. O'Connell, but I am proud of what I am."
I just don't see what would come of waiting. Right now, and since I've gotten back, NOTHING has happened. Stagnation isn't really fun for an RP. If the resistance were actually moving forward with things instead of just talking about it, I'd feel otherwise.
