The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Troll, you there?" The voice of a young child echoed throughout the sewers. He had been looking for him for quite some time now, but he either lost his trails or he just winded up having some 'talk' with the othe residents of the sewers. If there was one thing he wanted to teach the youngsters these days was to teach them on how to respect elders!
"Troll, come out right this instance or I swear I will have Red and White chasing you down the sewers! " He yelled out in annoyance.
"Doctor, I have sensed the presence of the subject two hundred feet from here." A young girl with long brown hair in white dress appeared as a holographic image in front of him.
"Thank you for your help, White." He replied and snapped his finger. The image quickly disappeared as he continued to walk. When took another turn, his iris contracted as he set his eyes at the new-comers, and later at Troll.
"Surface-dwellers?" A frown was visible on his face.
Proxy Blues eyes had adjusted to the dim light of the sewers long ago, however her feet had no adjusted to the dank, sometimes slimy, and evil smelling pathways that could be found in the sewer tunnels- which was why she was currently strolling causally through the sewer tunnels on the walls (sides, it meant her shoes could stay dry).
She heard voices coming from further up the tunnel she was currently walking through, but the voices sounded non threatening, and she saw no reason for the moment to turn back, so she continued on.
Crystal was used to being in the tunnels, she'd been here for a long time now. Her eyes, perhaps, were not incredibly advanced but like all Morlocks her hearing had adapted itself over the years to accomodate for the ever-present darkness.
She heard the voice of the doctor, and of Troll. She walked closer, careful to keep her limbs close to herself. The surface dwellers were an incredibly stupid bunch, not accustomed to the light levels. She'd already had one walk into her; needless to say, he'd wear that scar for life. So from now on she kept herself small and unobtrusive. She didn't necessarily like the surface dwellers, but she certainly didn't want to turn them into sheesh kababs.
"Troll," she said, seeing the eerie glow. It was a quiet greeting, but very true to Crystal's nature.

"Alright Troll, you know what you did, now hand it over!" The boy's hand extended to him, opening his palm like a child bugging his parents for an allowance. Just as he was to say another word, a girl in red dress appeared beside him. She giggled a bit, whispered in his ears, bowed to the crowds and disappeared again. It all happened so fast.
The child's face turned from white to even a paler white then to a flaming red. He retracted his hand and faked a cough.
"Sorry, looks like my age is finally catching up." He tried to let out a smile, but with with his fang and big, round red eyes, it looked more like an evil grin before feeding on breakfast, with the lack of lighting and all.
"Ah, Crystal. Good day to you." He bowed like an aristocrat as the woman came. His eyes had already adapted to the darkness after years of living in the dark. He didn't waste his energy on changing his gene on this though... It was not required.
Like the other’s, Mim’s eyes had long since adjusted to the light. Olive skin that was almost ghostly pail, made it easier to see where one was in the dark compared to the damp smelly brick of the sewer’s tunnels.
Of course Troll was easier to see and Mim took the moment at the last turn, to take in the group. It wasn’t hard to not notice Troll and then there was the Gemmy girl, Crystal. Steal blue eyes seemed to pierce through the dark as he nodded one by one to the others in greeting. He continued in with a step that was more describable as a march. Arms swinging to match.
Actions spoke louder than words and Mim had no words to speak of so his actions had to do everything. He halted behind the doctor imitating his open hand gesture with one hand. Palm open and shoving it in Trolls direction. The other hand was held over his head as if working a gabby sock puppet.
He only Mocked the Doctor for a moment before stepping around him, with the actors presence he bowed, adding a graceful fluerish of his hand. Turning to Troll in turn, he touched the tips of his fingers to his forehead in a sort of solute, and to Crystal and the rest, he tipped his palm up from his head, as if the movement for tipping a top hat.

In a nearby dead-end tunnel, Mira yawned, and stretched. She had claimed the little hole-in-the-wall as her own personal living quarters, nearly five years ago, when the then-thirteen-year-old had found her way to New York's sewer system. Finding others cast off as she was, she decided to stick around.
The disadvantage to having skin that literally reflected the world around you was the nightly need to reclaim her bed. She often found herself rudely awakened by someone seeking shelter, and didn't realized the space was already occupied.
It wasn't a shelter-seeker that woke her this time, though. Her sensitive ears picked up the sound of nearby voices. She picked out Troll, claiming he 'didn't do nothing'. She snorted; no doubt an accurate statement. Curious, she 'slid' out of her bed. Sure, she could have formed her usual body and walked over, like a normal human. But she wasn't a normal human, so why act like one?
To anyone of the group watching, they might have noticed a strange movement approaching along the wall, like a blob of glass, rippling across the sewer floor, reflecting the world around it. From amid the shimmer, two deep purple spots quietly took in the scene.
Proxy Blue had found that the wall wasn't as smooth in some places, so now she shifted herself and her gravity center to the roof of the tunnel- a much less used surface then the floor, and so smoother.
She was still heading towards the voices, and now she was alittle closer- she could see a soft, diffuse kinda glowing humanoid shape admist the figures as well, a light bulb went off in her head and she clicked, putting the voice and the glow together- Troll, well she knew of him and he wasn't usually mean, might as well say hi.
.....Speaking of greetings, hearing soft footsteps below and behind her, Blue twisted her head so she could look behind and down (down as in their down, not her down, more her up really.......Blue sighed, the English language didn't have enough terms to describe her properly she felt) from the fairly high ceiling on which she was currently traveling.
There was a mutant down/up there, someone she'd met before. She smiled a greeting. "Hey there Timid- whats up?" beaming at the latest in her own run of very bad jokes that she found highly amusing.
Crystal pulled her arms in much closer, keeping her silence. The tunnel was suddenly getting crowded. She walked further over to Troll, so that she could see better even if it was only slightly.
She didn't answer the greetings. That wasn't Crystal's way... silence was key, alone with her own thoughts. She found that silence in the Morlock tunnels was the best means of defence.
She sat down beside the young mutant, close enough to him to hint to an onlooker that there was familiarity between them. The truth was, she was very protective of Troll; not in a warrior, guardian kind of way, but in a motherly/ older sister type of close.
She drew her legs up and listened to him back-chatting the doctor. She carefully placed a hand on his leg in a silent rebuke, careful not to let the shards which broke from her skin touch him. Whether he'd listen or not, she didn't know. Troll could be brazen at times.
The noises caught the attention of the young mutant Skadi. Opening her eyes slightly, she got up from her 'bed' and walked towards the source of the sounds. Her grey eyes had grown used with the dim light of the sewers long time ago. There were almost three years since she has been hiding. As she continued to walk, she began to distinguish the members of the group. It seemed that all this noise was made around Troll. Crystal was standing near him, as always protecting him. Skadi walked with silent steps to the group. She didn't say anything, just watched and listened, trying to understand what was going on.

"well I suppose if we don't have a reason we should all make one."
Mira shifted to a normal body, with clothing outlined. The brightness of Troll's skin reflected off of her, adding to the unique light source. She crossed her arms and leaned against the tunnel wall.
"Reasons to gather are easy to come by," she spoke quietly. " 'tis staying out of trouble where we may come up dry."
She nodded at the new arrival, a girl who had come to the Tunnels about the same time Mira had. She usually kept her distance from Skadi, not out of hostility. In fact, she rather liked the girl. But unfortunately she was especially sensitive to the young woman's icy mutation.

He slapped his forehead as all the others started to gather at the place. He shouldn't have shouted that hard... maybe just a little bit softer next time. "The world is getting interesting indeed. Is speaking in rhymes getting popular around here?" He glared at everyone that gathered here.
"Proxy, get down from the ceiling would you? You're scaring the poor kid." He turned his eyes towards the woman-in-blue.
Skadi looked up to the ceiling, where Proxy was standing. She laughed for a moment. Strangely, she thought that in the morlocks tunnels there were few things that could scare you. Ans a girl walking on the ceiling it was more usual than the out-dwellers that have invaded their home. She turned her look from Proxy to the 'poor kid'.
Mim turned and headed to his normal wall he found comfertable to lean against. He heard hs remark. "well I suppose if we don't have a reason we should all make one."
Mim shrugged but his stomach seemed to want to make a comment as it let out a growl. Making him pause. Man, dinner just didn't fill one's self like it used to. All the same he gave a shrug in response to the rest of the talk. He found his place on the wall to lean against and crossed his arms.

"The world is getting interesting indeed. Is speaking in rhymes getting popular around here?"
Mira stared at the little old man unblinkingly. "Popularity is overrated," she replied easily, and without rhyme, simply to be contrary.
"Proxy, get down from the ceiling would you? You're scaring the poor kid."
Mira glanced upwards, seeing Proxy for the first time, for obvious reasons, and smiled. Perhaps the girl would extend her gravity to the others; Mira loved zero gravity. It was a blast to pretend to be a giant soap bubble, or shiny cloud.
When Mim leaned against the wall, Mira deformed and slid across the floor to his side, then reformed as a copy of him, arms crossed and everything. She nodded, and tipped her hand in mimic of his earlier salute. She smiled at the sound of his stomach growling.
"Methinks 'tis time for a feedin', if a gathering reason we're still a'needin'."
Proxy chuckled silently to herself at Timid whispered reply, remembering who she was talking too, the fact that really bad jokes wouldn't work on him, and why he was so nicknamed.
She settled for a bright, if upside down smile; "Right you are." she said in a cheery tone. The conversation however had attracted some attention, which was evident as Proxy began getting yelled at
~"Proxy, get down from the ceiling would you? You're scaring the poor kid." He turned his eyes towards the woman-in-blue. ~
Proxy Blue rolled her eyes at the authoritative tone; "I aint scaring anyone!" she yelled back sulkily and stubbornly refused to move.
She did however giggle at the rhythms that were being put forth- Troll and Mira were some fun types to hang with and always had something interesting planed.
Her ears perked up at the sound of a raid topside- those well always fun, and was already strolling down the wall to join the group when surprisingly Timid volunteered to help.
~I…” he then raised his voice ot where it could be heard. “ I will come with you…” at the surprised looks he explained himself though the looks were for that he spoke up more than needing a reason why. “ I could be handy if there is trouble.” He offered.~
She jumped from half way up the wall, twisted in the air and landed next to Timid, nudging him in a friendly fashion with her shoulder; "You sure could hot stuff." she said with a grin, completely forgetful of the fact he was so shy, and so probably would like the contact. Proxy's heart was in the right place, but she was abit out with current emotional standards at times.
