MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. It's been suggested that we make a guide for some of the NY locations we have all come to know and love, but before that can happen I'd like to make sure I've got them all. I know there are several dojo that have been mentioned, but I can't remember any names.
So far the list contains:

Also if you have any notable New York events that involve well known landmarks, I'd like to compile those as well. For example: When the Statue of Liberty was thrown into the ocean.
New York Fifth Federal Bank- the bank CS and Jacen saved from robbers (Anywhere would work, I think. Ask CS/ Luke.)
Orchestra Hall- This modern building is the seaside home of the Club House Orchestra (Somewhere on a short cliff/ rocky outcropping with a beach down below. Ask Slate for exact location.)
Hijinx Supermarket - This is the closest supermarket to the mansion. (Anywhere close to the mansion would work.)
Velfont Hotel - Fancy hotel across from the park- they have a waterfall in the lobby! (This is right next to the park, possible on the opposite side from the super busy neighborhood.)
Flower Peddlers is near the park, and the medium shop, and the book store.
WereCat's Chinese Restaurant - I don't remember what it is called, but it deserves to be on the map!

The Wounded Dragon (where Shin used to box), The Flying Dragon (Where he trains and teaches in FP), and the Dragon Inn (Werecat plays chess there in FP). There's also the Thunder dome and the Ring Liter. The Ring Liter is a boxing/pub and the Thunder Dome is extreme fighting for mutants.
Club evolution---a mutant hangout and a neutral grounds (no fighting, just dancing, if you want a dance off, I am sure you could get people to chant served afterwords ) The peace is enforced by the owner a middle aged always finely dressed man named Brain freeze. He took on the name to make the enforcing go with out question. He has the ability to simply press pause on anyone's mind. The body typically goes limp and will wait until he has decided that the person in question has been efficiently restrained and embarrassed. He does so psychically and only when people break his one rule. No fighting, you can talk trash to your hearts content, make fun of each other. have a power breakdown. He would be understanding till the moment you were to harm another. He is a pacifist in the extreme at least where his property is concerned. There are bouncers but they are there mostly to do the lifting and removing when the boss has gotten done.
Club Evolution is a rough looking building on the outside and sleek on the inside. It takes up the first three solid floors. The entrance is at the second floor after climbing a large wide looking greek-esque wide stair case that looks very out of place when put next to the grimy black bricks of the building proper. In Bright Green Neon The words Club Evolution Glow into the night. The club is open officially from 6pm to 6am but you can still get in during the day if you need somewhere to lay low.
The inside looks like it could be the reason that Brain freeze hasn't been able to afford cleaning up the outside. All black and silver modern furnishings, the drinks are served in space age looking glasses. the whole place is squeeky clean something rare in the night scene. The second floor is vast with tables , pool tables, a wrap around bar on three out of four walls. in the center of the room is a large cu out looking into the dance floor and lounge. again wrapping around the whole room are poofy Neon green velvet both like seating, Lights flash and the floor glows a dim or bright green, pulsing to the beat of whatever techno is pounding through the speakers at the moment. A large stair case leads down along one side of the walls and spiral stair cases spiral up the three levels in two corners. The third floor is the Vip Where Brain freeze and a select group hang out. typically if you frequent the club you've been into the over the top VIP at least once..

Hotel Velfont and same hotel in another thread it should look tiny than the rest of the hotels surrounding Central Park but in the inside is one of the most luxurious hotels in the area . and it also is the house and headquarter of Corrosive Revolution .
