The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

A nifty night with nothing on the horizon but endless adventures of the unknown. That was on the list for tonight, but she herself had no clue where her adventures would bring her. She was just wandering the streets in a summer dress because of the weather and else nothing with her. The lights of New York at night always attracted her attention while she passed by numerous homes, appartments and other buildings. But then there was a building that attracted her attention. It was shiney, bright lights and there where two very tall and big men in suits standing at the door. The sound coming from the building could be heard down the street and it sounded like loud dance music and people yelling at each other to make there voices heard.
Cailyn followed her curriousity and approached the two men at the door. She felt like a very tiny person compared to them and she swallowed her breath on time. "Uhmm." She said. "Might i ask what this place is?" she asked as she caught a glimps of what was going on inside when a youngman with a tail walked outside to light a sigaret.
One of the bouncers crossed his arms and looked funny at her. "This here is a club reserved for the gifted, if you know what i mean." he replied to her while nudging his head towards the youngman with the tail.
She pulled a face of non understanding and pondered the thought. "Owwwww." She replied. "You mean mutants." she continued in a bright and happy fashion as if she had broken a code and was proud of it. The bouncer sighed and said "Yes for mutants, if you want to come in you have to register your power here so we can take appropriate countermeasures if needed" he asked her.
Cailyn pulled a wiffey smile. "Sure, i'll do that." She never had been to a special club before, or a party for that matter. "Right this way miss." The bouncer said as he opened the door and walked inside. Cailyn followed him and signed a piece of paper with her name and what she could do. The sound was already blasting in the hallway and shiney lights could be seen through the glass doors at the end.
As she entere the club she saw that is was filled with all types of mutants. Mutants that could fly, looked like half animals, where on fire or frozen, mutants that lifted their drinks without using their limbs. It was like heaven to those who never could be normal in society. With amazement on her face and holding her hand together in front of her she just stood there, adjusting to the shiny light, loud music and the fact that two mutants with wings where making out high against the ceiling. She could hear thoughts and felt their sensations through their thoughts. It was a adventure for her already.
A club for mutants. It cannot really get any better than that.
Krisz was never big on clubbing, for obvious and less obvious reasons; but he was a mutant now, and an adventurer, and an explorer, and also invisible, which usually made things a lot more fun. Not to mention all the stories and the characters he could find in a place like that!
And he would not even have to stand in line. Just hum his way past the bouncers...
"Stop right there, mister."
"Hmmmm? Who are you talking to?"
"You, right there. Just 'cause you are not visible, don' think I can't see you. ID please."
"Umm I don't exactly have one on me right now, for obvious reasons, and I am sure there are many ways of going around that..."
"Name and mutation."
"Do I need to shift back to do that? Because that would be awkward."
"Spell it."
A few minutes later, Krisz hummed his way into the mutant crowd of Club Evolution.

Kalith was already in the club, having snuck away from his friends at college to attend this little club. He liked music and he liked loud places, all of which could be found here in the club. He had gotten in without much of a hassle, writing his name and power down so that he could enter, though he had not put his real power as he never gave that away if he could get away with it. Still it was a nice place, with great beats and flashing lights. He wasn't much of a dancer though, so he hung around on the outskirts of the dance floor, looking in on the fun and just bobbing his head to the music that radiated outwards from the loudspeakers.
To him music was an art that only he could truly appreciate, his powers making him very sensitive to even the smallest changes in pitch and tone. Everyone dancing barely even heard the things he did when he listened to the music, and if they could hear what he did they would be dancing much harder than they were.
Kalith was brought out of his music haze when a woman who looked like she was glittering under the flashing lights came up to him and asked if he would like to dance. He smiled and nodded, she was too pretty not to dance with her. So he followed her onto the dance floor and moved his body to the music, swaying in time with the beats that pounded the dance floor.
Lots of noise, lots of people. Two things that she wasn't really used to but never really experienced. She liked it though. Everyone around her was in a good mood and all she got was good and happy thoughts in her head. It automaticly made her happy aswel. Nothing to be concerned about when there are only happy things rolling inside your head.
She had made her way trough the crowd and finally reached the bar where you could order drinks. She didn't really have any pockets to keep money, if she had any. The bartender looked at her and she looked back at the bartender. "Uhm, is water free?" She asked the bartender. The bartender rolled his eyes and gave her a water with a straw. Cailyn took the drink and smiled while she turned around and sipped her water with a bit of a long and amazed face. She really had no clue what she was going to do now while she didn't know any people, or could dance for that matter.
Krisz autimatically hummed his way towards the bar, and he was there before he even realized he had no money, not to mention a mouth to drink with.
"Well, damn." he muttered. Music resonated through him like the waves of the ocean. Not in a bad way. But whenever he was only a voice in the crown, music had a much stronger effect on him than on normal human beings.
"I could get water too I guess but I'd still need to shift for that" he muttered to himself, humming above the bar "And I have no money to buy anything else. Who would shift for water anyway? I wouldn't. For free drinks, maybe. A beer. Ugh, I don't even like beer. Wine. Nice red waine. For free. Yup, free red wine would be worth it. But not water nuh-uh. I am not even thirsty. Go figure..."
