Davon didn't have much trouble getting on the subway, aside from a strange look from the ticket lady.
He did his best to hide his feet by crouching a little, so the duster would cover them. He decided against sitting down, and held on to one of the loop hooks instead.
Mostly, people avoided looking at him. His scent of sulfur pretty much assured that no one would be close to him either.
He grinned at a gawking toddler, who waved at him before her mother pulled her back while staring daggers at Davon. His response to that was to stick his forked tongue out at her while making a goofy face. She shuddered and looked away.
After changing trains a few times, and getting stared at more than he was comfortable with, he exited the subway in Westchester. He didn't have any idea on where he was going. It was as if there was something in the back of his head, steering him.
