Ranger (March '11)

HISTORY
Hailing from the twin cities of Bryan/College Station, Texas, the Ranger is a former Master Sergeant in the United States Army 75th Ranger Regiment who became an Operated for the 1st Special Forces Operation Detatchment-Delta (1st SFOD-D) commonly called “Delta Force.” He spent most of that time overseas, until he was suddenly discharged. After that he moved to New York City to make use of the skills he acquired in the armed forces to bring his own brand of justice.

Since arriving he has found both allies and enemies, and they have drawn him into conflicts he’d have otherwise not been involved in. One such event was a brawl at King Pharmaceuticals. He had been called there to aid a comrade in holding off violence, but due to prior conflict with one of the mutants there it in fact set off some of the violence.

A few months later he had the misfortune as waking up in the body of a woman he had never met. Lori. From there he set out to find his body and a way to fix the situation, which led to a massive series of unfortunate events. Though, amongst that he was given the chance to meet Lenna and through her introduced to Slate.

When the Kabal made their move on Romania the Ranger was dispatched to eliminate parliament members who had voted for their country’s very own mutant registration act. He was to avoid being capture, as should he be caught Slate would disavow any knowledge of his actions and he would left to handle alone whatever the Romanian authorities would have done to him.

After returning to the states and a long stint deep under the radar he received a call from Lenna. The Mona Lisa had been stolen and word was that it was in New York. Together they found the fence that was moving it on the black market and stole it from her.

A few months later Lenna again called the Ranger up, this time she was in a bar. That night was spent at Lenna’s place where they enjoyed, coffee. Following that the pair went on a trip down to Texas for the Ranger’s birthday and after coming back to New York there was a run in with Lenna’s hothead Ex.

POWERS
Reactive Support When in need the Ranger’s body enhances the power of one physical attribute. It can boost his strength speed or night vision. It can only enhance one at a time. Although, his power has grown to include hearing and breathing and night vision by way of ultraviolet and infrared. Theis second set of enhancements can operate in tandem with his first set but at a loss of power to both.

POSTS TO SEE:

[FF] Consciousness Relocation – (Beginning of a long arc, and includes a Fade to Black reader discretion is advised) The Ranger awakens in a strange room with a strange man in a strange body… a woman’s body. Eventually he arrives back at the hotel he had been the night before and finds his body still in bed. His attempts to subdue the person in his body were met with disastrous results.

Texas Sized Justice(WIP) – Following the recovery of Lee after her having been abducted and held in a house within a warehouse for much of her pregnancy, The Ranger was contacted by Tarin. The two had met once on the streets and were surprised to meet each other in what was very close to hiring a hit man. After some debate the Ranger allowed Tarin to accompany him while he tracks Lee’s abductor. The pair of them traveled to the warehouse to investigate it and find anything the police had missed that would lead them to their target.

"...Or Yours?" – (Includes Fade to Black, reader discretion is advised) The Ranger drove Lenna back to her apartment from the bar she had been at. Arriving there he carried her up to the apartment and was let in for coffee. From there they went up to her bedroom, acting on feelings that work had previously distracted them from exploring.
