The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

He smiled at Tasean and nodded. The place looked much better than the apartment he'd been in for about two years.
"Well it works. Looks better than my old place before I moved to the mansion. Then again that was the apartment of three college students."
At Tasean's suggestion and gaze toward the hallway Drew blushed a little but only a little. He'd thought of something in the intervening time between Tasean asking what he wanted to drink and him bringing it. Andrew unscrewed the cap of the bottle of water and took a drink. He had scars. Some of which were obtained from the promise to Rhy. That could put a damper on the mood if Tasean asked where he'd gotten them. It wasn't that he was embarrassed of them. Scars were scars. No he simply didn't want Tasean angry again on his behalf. Better judgement however was not in command at that moment so he shrugged the worries off.

Tasean smiled at Andrew, his eyes sparkling. Normally Tasean wouldn't even have entertained a thought like this. He didn't like crossing certain lines with friends, because the situation always ended badly. He valued Andrew's friendship, but also he found himself very much attracted to the man. The smallest part of his brain is telling him to leave well enough alone, but everything else is reacting, some parts visibly, in a positive manor and urging him forward.
Tasean's smile takes on a mischievous look, as he unscrews the cap to his own bottle of water. Always the playful teaser, Tasean lifts the bottle to his mouth, and then tips it, allowing the water to stream down his chin unto his chest, and then over onto the couch and floor; some of it pooling at his bellybutton. The couch and floor can be cleaned, and they are a small price to pay for the fun Tasean is having right now.
"Would you look at that, I'm so slow sometimes" he said, making no effort to dry himself at all. "Would mind getting a towel from the closet for me?" Tasean asks his friend and intended target "It's the first door on your left in the hallway."
Tasean looks down, noticing that the water has also strained his shorts, so he simply slips them off, and lets the fall on the floor. "Oh, can you bring the lotion out of the bathroom too? My skin always drys out after it's wet, and I hate dry skin, it makes me itch." he said, now lounging on the couch wet, in nothing but a pair of dark green 2(x)ist boxer briefs, which is actually quite normal attire for him when at home.

Andrew suspected something the moment he saw that look again on Tasean's face. That was the look that preceded some variety of flirtation. Though lord knew what it would be since the man had managed to be creative enough in that particular aspect. However the result...honestly made him almost want to scratch his head. Instead he settled for a very faint blush, exposure having made that particular reaction less violent, and a chuckle.
"How clumsy."
Sure a towel would clean up Tasean's, quite purposeful, mess. However Drew had a better idea. Mirroring his host, Andrew stripped off his shirt and closed the distance between them quickly so as to not give him time to notice the various scars littered across his torso. Being a wannabe hero was tough work, you know? Drew used his shirt in place of the requested towel and dried the other man off quite slowly. He tossed it casually aside once he was done. He followed up by leaning in for another kiss, or maybe just a continuation of the one in the park, and muttered before their lips touched again.
"You can get your lotion on the way to the bedroom."

Tasean's skin tingled, it felt like every nerve was working over time as Andrew leaned in for the kiss. Tasean leaned forward, hungry for the contact with the other man, as his hands began to slowly explore the promise keepers body. His mind was racing, his pulse strong and fast as he arched his back slightly for more contact between the two. Tasean was thoroughly enjoying this little adventure, all thoughts of future consequences were out of his mind, as he focused on the here and now. Whatever else might happen, this was going to be enjoyable to say the least. As he lifted his knee, to position Andrew in a more comfortable spot; his last coherent thought was, he didn't think they would be making it to that bedroom anytime soon.
