The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

*Tricity walked to the War Room after entering the basement and stood in the front of the doors. They automatically opened and she went in, sitting at the head of the long table. Hopefully Daria would be down soon; Tricity wasn't feeling very well.*

Daria walked swiftly into the war room a few minutes after Tricity.
"Hey there!" When she sniffed the air she immediately felt something odd. "You feel alright, Tricity?" Daria sat "indian style" in a chair not too far away.
"I'm a little nauseous, actually, but I'll be alright." *Tricity turned her chair toward her to talk.* "So, do you know when you guys are leaving yet?"

"At some point tonight. I just ate and I'm going to take a nap later so I can be ready." Daria smiled laying her back pack with her laptop gingerly on te table.
"TONIGHT? Geez, are you sure you guys will be ok to go so soon? I feel like there should be more preparation or something..." *She questioned, hoping she wasn't seriously thinking about leaving so soon.*

Daria's ears flickered. For a moment, Tricity really felt like a mother already, worried about her children over working themselves.
"Well, Mike asked me the same thing. See, I didn't fight very much or for very long. It was just the shock of Jonah." her voice caught for a minute before she continued. "So I came right home and slept. Mike teases me, he says he doesn't know how I do it. But cat naps are like power ups for me. Really the only thing that hurts me is my heart right now." she gave a weak smile.
"Ok, well if you truly feel strong enough, then I have faith in you. I was wondering though... We have a crapload of computer equipment and I'm pretty familiar with it, but...we could use someone else in charge of the techy stuff besides myself. You'd prob understand it a lot better than I would anyway. So, I have an offer." *Tricity said, pushing a folder toward her with every document of computer equipment in the house, having all explanations of how it's used and what it's for. Mostly foreign to any 'normal' person, but to Daria, it would most seem like a children's book.* "Would you like to be the teams' tech specialist?"

For a minute Daria stared at the folder. She had been struggling since she first got to the school to figure out how to help. Sure she had fought many a battle but she never felt like it was enough. The only thing she could do besides draw was deal with anything electronic or computerized. She was so happy she was qualified to do something useful or at least something she thought was useful. Being a big sister to the younger girls like hairpin Sarah and Emerlald and pretty soon, Ruby as well, was fine but she wanted to give back to the very mansion itself and the team.
Now Daria could show Tricity how grateful she was. "Of courrrrse" She purred happily opening the folder to the list of codes on the first page. She'd put it all in her laptop and, of course, in her head. "I would be honored!"
"GOOD! Glad you accepted. I thought you'd like the postion." *Tricity slowly stood up and held her stomach.* "I need to go rest. I'm sorry I can't chat longer...please stay in touch when you all leave though. Johnathon and I have placed com devices in that box down at the end of the table. I have one upstairs in my room and attached on my hip." *She showed her the small radio clipped on her jeans.* "Keep me informed as soon as you get to the base."
"Alright, girlie. I'll see you soon then." *Tricity exited the door; waddling her way to the elevator to lead back into the main quarters of the mansion. She couldn't wait to lay down and rest in her bed.*
