The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tristan moved up to the front of the alcove next to Sheild and the tiger. He punched the nearest bot and it went flying into others. He was suddenly rushed by a group of bot's and he pressed his massive hands against them pushing them back. He felt his hands start to shrink the rocks crumbling, he closed his eyes and strained focusing hard to keep them from powering down. He had to keep them back to keep the others safe. He pressed with all his will to keeping his fist up. He started to see little white circles form infront of his face but he pushed harder for his friends behind him, he pushed the robots as hard as he could and they went flying. He looked down at his arms and they we're made of stone up to the shoulders. "Sweet," He said but his celebration was quickly ended when another bot came. Tristan grabbedit's arm and slammed it into the wall next to him. This simulation seemed to real, it scared him.

Daisake Stopped and looked toward a Animal , who appeared to be standing his ground. Daisake knew he was right. he ran back toward it and stood next to him, his eyes focused on the enemy. he didnt look at anything else at this point. though he did have a small plan to aid others. A gruop of bots tryed to move on there position daisake stood tall gripping his right fist tight he slammed the ground in front of him and slate. causeing the ground to crumble under the bots feet. he thought he might break the danger room knowing that it eally wasnt real but he didnt it anyway , to pervent the bots from attacking them all in groups. even though it didnt stop many of them it slowed them down enough where everybody could focus on a plan to take them out. all together.

((ooc: Just a small note--Slate is Calley's split personality, meaning that Slate is the tiger (and you wouldn't know his name, either). Calley's just taking a mental nap-time whenever I use gray text. I can see how you would miss that, with all these posts!))

Nicki looked around, trying to find a way for her to join in the fight in a collected way. She had managed to find her own when the threat to a friend came about but Nicki was having issues finding a way to be helpful while facing robots: it wasn't exactly like she could pick up their thoughts and figure out what they were going to do next.
Nicki pulled herself back towards the group. "Regrouping" or something to that extent. She moved back to the group, kicking metal heads as she went.

Ted nodded to Michael, and was about to step back when a robot landed a solid punch to his chest. That sent him reeling backwards, and he had to use the wall to keep his balance. He stumbled to the back of the alcove, and sat against the wall. He closed his eyes, and was then unconscious. In so doing, he also detransformed and was now just a sleeping, teenage boy. Wearing very tattered clothes. Whose back was encrusted with blood and sporting a very nasty looking gash. And was covered in other, more minor cuts and bruises.

Nika heard Michael's voice and turned to see the others gathering together. Michael and the tiger were at the front line trying to hold off the robots. They need help she though and quickly ran on all fours to aid them by tackling a robot and ripping it's head off before taking up a position to assist.
"These guys just keep coming." Nika then switched to her always cheerful self and smiled. Hiya boys how's it going?"
(OOC: Alright two things. 1. No posting more than once a day please. Its kinda rediculous if you have enough free time to read everyones post through and then write something coheirent. 2. Fade? Cane we wrapp this up? Say we end up killing most of them in the next couple posts? Then move on to something alittle more challenging so the less combat adept people like Nicka can show their worth.)
Nail was struggling to find a way to regain his abailities. At the moment, he was trying to form a head shield. He concentrated, and began to see small formations growing in front of his face, but it wasn't enough. Then something occured to him. He didn't need to be there. He had already accomplished what he wanted. He didn't need to be in it anymore. HEconcentrated, and absorbed a small porttion of the diamond that surrounded his body. he was instantly free, but fell to the ground quickly, and at an awkward angle.
Smooth
He recovered from his little fall, and luckly, the big guys where holding the bots off so he could concentrate and straited things out. He placed his hand on the side wall that was coated in diamond, realising he could manipulate it from there. It worked. He understood know that he couldn't spread himself and the diamond he produced so thin. He wouldnt make that mistake again.
The first thing he did was lower the archways hieght to about were the wold man could duck through. He also got rif of the central pillar, which was in the way. What begane to form out of the entrance, was two walls, that spread out like a cone, allowing the bots to have to fullen in. The bots where not forming a large group, which was placed relatively in the center of the thin diamond walls.
"Guys! Try to get them to pool up between the walls, and funnel into the doorway. When I say, get behind me. I'm gunna blow the rest of them away. "

Ali also heard Michael but he was calling for her specifically. She could see the defensive position they were trying to create but they didn't have enough people to stop every robot. Eventually one or more would get through the front line.
"I'm on my way. I was getting bored watching you guys have all the fun anyways."
The red haired woman ran over to the group and took up a position several feet behind those who were manning the front protective line. "Alright, let's see if I can get you guys a break." With that she created a wall of flame and immense heat. She curved the wall like a bow aiming away from them and sent it out blasting any and all robots as the fire arched outwards.
"That should give you guys a breather for awhile."

Michael stabbed another robot when he heard Sentinel call out. Having seen his little exploding crystal trick earlier he could guess what he was up to. Nika and Raven Fire joined the front, Raven Fire giving them a little breathing room. Now Sentinel had closed the gap down they could reduce the front until he was ready.
“Ok, Geo, tiger, pull back into the alcove. Me, Raven Fire and Nika can hold until Sentinel’s ready to finish this. I want you two fresh for level two, so get some rest.” As he said that he pulled back towards the door that was in Sentinel’s crystal wall, using the breathing room Raven Fire had given them to reposition. With level one nearly wrapped up Michael began to wonder what level two would be like.
Tristan nodded to Micheal and threw the bot he had in his hand back into the crowd. He stumbled back into the alcove and his arms disolved to there normal state and he sat next to Ted, Tristans breathing was heavy but he was dealing with it. He reached down and grabbed his shirt that he had torn off earlier and tied it around his side to try and stop the bleeding coming from under the bandages.

Calley
Slate gave a bow to the invincible General! teenager--a tiger's bow. He sank his front legs low to the ground, and nodded his head with them. Then he turned, and sedately obeyed his orders to rest. Though he was not yet tried--he had yet to even access the adrenaline shots Doctor Ingram had worked into his collar--he appreciated the opportunity to sit by himself, in silence, and simply watch. This fighting was far too chaotic for his tastes. The invincible General!....... Oh com'on, Slate--you know you want to. ...The General had returned some semblance of order to things; Slate felt respect for him. He could profit from experience and leadership training, but he was doing better than the rest. The rest...
The crystal boy would be of interest, in the future; for now, he did not know the limits of his abilities, and he had quite literally stretched himself too far. And he had acted alone, without consultation of the others, even though it was the others he sought to benefit. Foolish.
The fire girl was dangerous. As dangerous to the group as she was to the robots. Had she checked that all stragglers had entered the alcove prior to setting up her wall? It was a soothing wall--he rather liked the flames. He could watch them for hours, quite easily. But he doubted anyone trapped on the wrong side of it would appreciate it quite so much.
The rock boy--Geo--was simply unreliable. No control. No order. And currently bleeding. If he wanted to brawl, he would be better off with a broken bottle than that power of his: jagged glass would take less of his energy, and it would not fail him at odd moments.
The girl with glasses was an unknown. Not a combat specialist. Thus, she had retreated off the front lines--good for her. She had intelligence. That made her Slate’s second most esteemed person in this room.
The formerly fuzzy boy clearly lacked what the glasses girl had. He was unconscious, blood-coated, and effectively useless. He had pushed himself to the extreme at this, the very beginning of things, for no reason that Slate could identify. That actually made him less intelligent than Calley and the clutter. That was a curious idea: an intelligence lower than the lowest he could fathom. He spent a moment looking down at the unconscious boy, whiskers fanned. Truly curious.
There was a girl who seemed to manipulate gravity, or something of the sort: the one who, earlier, had stopped an attack wave by first raising up a line of robots, and then allowing them to crash back down on their companions. It had been like watching a pendulum. Slate quite approved of pendulums and, by extension, the girl.
The invisible woman was an unknown factor. Either a teacher, an interloper, or an applicant who did not care for fighting. He did not concern himself with her. The clutter had rather liked when she’d petted them, however.
The boy he had gone to help earlier he simply ruled out—ineffective. Anyone who required help from Calley was the very dictionary definition of ineffective. With basic fight training, he would improve, no doubt. If Slate truly did become an X-Men, and that boy did, as well, he would see to it that the boy undertook such training. He would see to quite a few things.
The cat girl—Nika—was too messy for his tastes. As chaotic as the clutter, and more violent. A truly horrifying combination.
The girl with clear combat skills was every bit as chaotic. She had the skills, but no discipline. Again: training would profit her immeasurably.
There were others, as well. Slate simply could not be bothered with listing them all. That was a task for the good people at Mondragon Labs, who would analyze his video feed. Everyone in this room was now well known to Hunter Antonescu.
For himself, Slate thought he was doing his job rather well. He curled his tail around his front paws, and permitted himself the smallest of purrs.
((ooc: Just what you all wanted—individualized commentary from Slate! Seriously, though—good posting, everybody. It’s fun to see this play out.))
Nail watched as the now very small group of bots regrouped and closed in on the three defenders. They didn't seem to have as much vigor however. They sort of hung back for a moment, reluctant to refill the area that had been cleared out by Raven Fire. Nail waited patiently, focusing, trying to make sure he did whaqt he would have to do properly. He had to make sure to close the gap, and make sure that ouly the outer walls exploded, while the one holding the gate didn't. He was pretty sure even just a thin wall of diamond could withstand the blast, but he was worried he might skrew up and make that wall explode. Everyone would be in a confined area, and if he let that happen... they would probably all die except for Shield. He couldn't let that happen.
He watched and consentrated and felt. Felt with his hand which was encased inside the diamond of the gate, felling the walls, almost like they were apart of him. A part of him that was about to explode... When the robots finnally closed in, Nail was ready. He waited for alittle, letting the three fight them off for alittle bit, to make sure they where as close as possible to the gate.
"Alright, get in!"
Nail would let the three get in, and if they didn't move, he would reach out and physically yank them in. This had to be done quickly and right. Once everyone was in, the group of bottried to rush through the gate. Nail closed his eyes and willed the diamond gate to form. Then, he concentrated with all his might on the outer walls that had created a V.
"Everyone get down!"
BOOM!
The sound of the origonal explosion reverberated off the walls of the surounding buildings. Then there was the sound of scrap parts falling and hitting the pavement loadly. Then there was silence
When Nail opened his eyes again, he saw multiple robot appendeges hanging limply in the thin wall of diamond that had formed. Nail slowely absorbed the gate back into his body, allowing a clear view of the damage, not only that he had caused, but they had all caused. The road was litterally paved with bots, except for the area he had just blown away.
"Woot? Where done right?"
Nail felt nearly 80% better after reabsorbing his exoskeliton. He felt whole, but he stil felt really hungry. He wondered if this was the end, or if there was more. He hoped that if there was, they would be getting a lunch break. He really could use a sandwich...

(OOC: Hero time
IC: When Sentinel called his warning Michael didn’t hesitate. He grabbed for Nika and Raven Fire to throw them back behind the wall. Instead of stepping through himself he turned back to stop any of the bots having even a chance of getting through. A pair got bold and rushed the gate, but he stood his ground.
A baseball bat hit him on the side of his head and a crow bar connected with his ribs, but he ignored both. Swinging the sword he cleaved one in half before spinning it back to run the other one through. More bots were closing in and he readied himself to fight when the whole world exploded.
The blast sent him flying a good thirty feet before landing roughly on the ground. With his ears ringing he got to his feet, sword still in hand, and looked about for any surviving bots. There were none. Dusting off his now rather tattered clothes he turned back to see Sentinel retracting the diamond wall.
“Is everyone alright?” he called out to them. That he been quite a challenge, but once they came together they had dealt with it. Now for level two, but he was sure that together they could take whatever Tricity decided to throw at them.
Deja quickly, kicked butt with Deathstar, when she noticed , the wolf guy, injured aswell as Geo, there. She quickly ran to the guys in the alcove. She smiled, when she notced the blood. "Okay, good job Geo, trying to keep the blood in place. Deja then concentrated, trying to do something, she had never done before. She closed her eyes, concentrating, about, healing Ted. She put her hands, pover his wounds. "Heal him, heal him, heal him!" All of a sudden, she noticed, his wounds cleared, and she fell to the ground, motionless. The wish, she had was too much for her, now, until, she got more control. She would now rest for awhile, charging herself up.
