The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Nail kinda shrugged at deathstars question. It was kinda wierd hearing that name. He had just kida put it down on the forms without thinking about it. He didn't think he would be using the name any time soon.
He rushed over to help Ted, but didn't bother trying to lift the guy. He had grown in size... and looked kinda ferocious. Still Nail stayed beside him, slashing a stabing the bots that tried to approach. He was kinda taken by surprise as Deja showed up and lugged the big guy off.
Nail now realised the Shield guy he had met in the informery was all by himself kind of. Not really doing much, and seemingly uneffected by the bots. Seeing as how everyone else had hooked up, He decided to help him out.
Taking a couple more people out as he went, nail formed something for the guy. He was trying to practise how to create, and then remove things from his body. It was tough, but he managed to create a sword and disipate the diamond that connected it until it was no longer there. It was strange for him though, cause it felt almost like he was removing a part of himself in the process.
When he reached Shield, he hended him the diamond blade
"Happy birthday buddy. Put it to use."
Nail got behind him, so his back was against the wall and shield could hold off bots in front of him. Nail wanted to practise some more with the same concept. He absorbed his own blades, and the tried to remove handfuls of diamond from his exoskeliton. The results that were formed were tear shapped chucks of diamond, which he chucked into a crowd of bots.
"Fire in the hole!"
Nail focused once more on the diamond he had removed and thrown, and smiled when he saw the glow of red, and before be made the same mistake as last time, ducked behind shield.
There was another load bang and shrapptnel flew. But this time, no one was really in the danger zone.

Naomi, now seeming to get bored of her little game, and wanting to be more of a team player, noticed the groupe of girls and... a tiger? Naomi found that amazing. Two woman fighting along side a beast sounded much like the fairy tails she had listened to when she was young. She made her way over to the group, and helped them out.
When a bot got to close, Naomi would make the ots weapon increase in wieght and drop it, then lower its the bots wieght, so when one of the girls kicked it, it would send it flying across the room. One was coming up on Nikka now.
"Watch out!"
Naomi focused on the bot, an decided to try something new. She increased the wieght of its feet and lowered the density and wieght of it upper half. This effectively made it immobile, and pretty much a punching bag. and because its bat was so low density, it would probably only feel like getting hit with a foam bat.

By this time Neena was having to do some fancy footwork to keep from being beaned by the bots, which were quickly becoming a collection of spare parts, and the fighting mutants. Another young man joined the fray, one she hadn't yet met. She made a quick note on his rock power as she observed him near Deja.
A young redheaded woman took up a central position, almost appearing to be waiting for something. Neena observed her curiously for a moment. Intent as she was, she didn't see the tiger headed in her direction, until he was withing touching distance. She tilted her head in interest as he circled her, almost like a house cat. And he was still purring. This time she couldn't resist, and reached out to touch the soft fur. In a whisper she hoped the other students couldn't hear, she said "Shhh! You're not supposed to know I'm here!" On her pad, next to the word tiger-shifter, she scribbled, Remember to stand downwind, and not wear purfume.
She moved a bit away from the majority of the students, scribbling little notes as she reflexively dodged the bots. At one point she sighed a bit, wishing she could experience the thrill that these people must have been feeling at that moment.
"Fire in the hole!" Neena looked up in time to see something shiny and glowing being tossed at a group of bots. A group of bots she happened to be standing next to. She jumped aside, tucking herself into a ball as she rolled away from the explosion. She felt a slight sting on her arm. Looking up she noticed where a crystal shard had sliced across her skin. Changing the direction of her glance, she saw a pile of scrap where the bots once were. Nodding, she made a note next to Sentinal's name; Good aim.
She got to her feet and again moved around in the middle of things. She noticed idly that it almost appeared as if the guys and gals were splitting into their own groups, with the exception of Deja and the tiger-shifter.
Unconsciously she moved closer to the redhead in the center of the two groups, curious to know what the woman was capable of. She appeared to be one of the older members of the group, but it was hard to know for sure.

Calley
Now anyone who thought that Calley was merely merrily mauling would be in for a very large surprise. For you see, he was thinking, as well. While he mauled.
Point: He didn't want to be exploded. Not particularly.
Counterpoint: Redeem himself with the Boss Man by joining the X-Men.
Point: This seemed to be an application process, not a everyone-who-turns-up-gets-hired sort of dealie.
Counterpoint: Sell his amazing X-Men-like skills.
Point: He didn't have any.
Counterpoint: Pretend that he did!
And what did goodies like, above everything else? Teamwork! And loyalty! And helping each other out! And fluffy kittens! Also, puppies. But even goodies couldn't be perfect.
So when he saw a guy near him getting ganged up on by nefarious robots in sore need of a mauling, he wasted no time in loyally rushing over to help using his amazing teamwork skills. His amazing teamwork skills, it should be noted, involved quite a lot of mauling.

(OOC: Damn, you guys are fast!)
Ted finally snapped the lock, and with a sigh of relief flung himself from the cage. Finally!
He opened his eyes, and was very pleased to find himself in beast form. Also, He noticed that he seemed to have moved. Someone evidently was nice enough to move him away from danger whilst he was helpless. He made a mental note to find out who that was, until he saw a flash of orange and black. Was that a tiger? Intrigued, Ted decided to go look. He sprinted for the tiger at full speed, demolishing robots in his path. It wasn't long until he reached the tiger, and saw that it was helping someone familiar. Dai! Ted caught a robot that was about to club Dai round the back of the head, anf lung it into a group of its friends. He tapped Dai on the shoulder, gave a friendly wave, and then windmilled into a large group of nearby robots.
This is so much more fun! Ted grabbed a robot by the shoulders, and flung it over his head. He then grabbed another one by the ankle, and used it as a club to start smashing robots apart. Soon he was left just holding an ankle, which he tossed away. Another robot leapt onto his back, but he reached backwards, grabbed it, and slammed it into the ground in front of him with enough force to break it into many many small pieces. Neat!
Tristan droppedthe two robots who he just obliverated, he slipped out of his boots and aimed for a group of bots. "Goddess please don't let this backfire," He slammed his foot on the ground and motioned for the ground to pummel them but nothing happened, he tried again and againbut nothin. "Dirts not real." He gave up and ran towards the group not bothering to put back on his boots. He nailed the nearest one in the side of it's head. Itslammed into another and they both fell. He swung at another one and he felta sharp pain in his hand. He looked at them and they we're normal again. "Shi-" A bot hit him in the face and he was sent flying back. He landed on the ground hard and pain shot threw his ribs that he had broken in central park. He wipped his face and looked down at his hand. "Blood...Great."
[[ooc: Ted's right man u guys are quick, tell me if i screwed anything up.]]

Ted looked up instinctively as he saw a very familiar pair of rock fists being wielded by an even more familiar mechanic. Tristan? I'm sure he left... Shrugging, Ted flung a robot at a band that were closing in on him, and ran over to help his buddy out. He saw him knocked backwards, and looked to be in pain. Hold on Tristan, I'm a coming... Ted was fur-wrapped death to the 'bots. He slammed into the fray, sending several flying. He towered over tristan, and attempted to give a thumbs up, but realised that he no longer had thumbs. He instead settled for a friendly wave, and a baseball bat was broken over his head. I'm sure that should hurt more... He spun to face the robot, and saw that it had several friends with it. Nice.
Ted grabbed the robot, and flung it through a building wall. He piled into the rest of them, and flaied with his arms, smashing robots aside like noone's buisness. He saw a robot coming up behind Tristan, and he jumped out of his gang of robots and into the one threatening rhe rock-dude. He rolled with it, crushing it beneath his weight, before hurling himself into the nearest group of robots. Damn there are a lot of these things. Great!
Tristan looked over and saw the great furry beast running towards him, he froze in fear, this couldn't be good. When Ted waved to him he let out a sigh of relief and wavedback, "Good to see one of us is learning control." He stood up and brushed himself of as Ted took out the bots. "I owe ya one good buddy."

Michael saw a guy go down and now that soldier girl was holding her own he began to make his way towards the fallen guy, ignoring the various blows he received on the way. But before he could reach him Ted was there and clearing them aside. With that guy back on his feet Michael looked around to see if he could help any one else. Looking around he saw that everyone was getting to spread out.
While he was thinking a robot slammed him in the head with a baseball bat. Ignoring it he tried to think what he could do to help. Then he realised what could be a problem. They we’re getting a little spread out, in ones or twos. There were hordes of these robots, and if they spread out they would get picked off. They needed to come together as a complete group.
“Guys,” he called out, “We need to pull together. As one we can cover each other, but spread out you could get overwhelmed before someone can get to you to help.” As he was speaking the robot with the baseball bat hit him three times. Getting annoyed he spun around and stabbed the offending robot through the chest with the shiny sword that Sentinel had made him. Turns out they’re not as durable as him.

Calley
Now Calley, for one, thought that was a great idea. A fantastic idea. A really-shows-your-spirit-for-teamwork idea. Making sure to keep guarding the guy he'd rushed to help, and keeping an eye out for anyone else in desperate trouble (and causally mauling a few 'bots, of course; Mauling: his word of the day), Calley slowly worked his way over towards Mister Invincible. He was still purring, in case anyone should wonder what that train-coming-along-loose-tracks noise was.
Deathstar continued to fight off other robots and observing the students at the sametime. "Nice call Michael!, All right everyone you heard the man" she nodded her head toward him as if she was saying good job. Deathstar began doing backhandsprings toward the center of the Danger Room hoping the others will follow while making mental notes about the students.

Another student went down as a bot struck him in the face. Luckily the big furry guy jumped to his aid, but he too seemed to acknowledge that there were alot of bots. The others seemed to be doing ok but that was the problem. They were only doing ok. If everyone were to join forces then they would possibly be doing much better. Though a couple could learn more control over their powers.
Ali continued to keep an eye on everyone making sure no one was too overwhelmed, but at the same time she was concentrating on the robots that were still advancing. They weren't producing much heat so it was a little harder than sensing a living pers...a person was next to her.
The redhead looked at the invisible person and saw the heat from their body. Who ever it was they were holding something but it didn't seem to be any kind of weapon. "I hope you're only observing and if that's the case then don't move." Ali turned her attention back to the bots and concentrated. Her eyes began to glow green. The intensity of her eyes grew brighter and brighter while those who were looking at the bots only saw the metal heithons begin to glow from a deep red that slowly changed to a seering white until a large mass of them were turned into slag on the ground.
Deja smiled, and thought the idea was great. She quickly punched and kicked a couple of bots and back-handspringed to deathstar. "Wow, these guys, just don't learn." Deja then saw more, bots approach her. Thats when she noticed them brake, just like that. She looked around noticing, Ravenfire's eyes turned green. "Wow!" Thats all that could comeout her mouth, as she glanced at everyone. She quickly lost her focus, standing in amazement.

Ted was up and fighting again, and in control it seemed, Shield was taking charge, and for the most part the others seemed to be working with that. <"Not bad. Not bad at all."> She glanced around to see where Raina had disappeared to in the melee.
"I hope you're only observing and if that's the case then don't move." Neena raised an eyebrow, but obeyed. Did the woman have heat vision as well? She followed her now glowing gaze to yet another collection of bots. Blinking, Neena activated her heat vision. She could see the metal monsters' increase in temperature, all the way up until they were reduced to scrap.
Neena made a note, 'Heat controller?' on her board, then moved away.
As Deathstar urged the others toward the center of the room, Neena went the opposite way, moving toward the outskirts of the battle. She needed a moment to finish up her note-taking, while wondering at the same time what Fade and Tricity would put together for the next level. Personally she was hoping for some kind of obstacle course. Smash 'n' bash was fine and all, but so was multitasking in the field.
