The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

((If you wish to be an X-Man, post here and I will give you details on what is next once I speak with Lady J.))
Fade walked into the Danger Room after it took her fingerprint. Intentionally, she left the door open and took a seat infront of the computer with her coffee in her hands and in her stomach. Word had been given out that anyone who wished to be an X-Man would need to come to the Danger Room for a Training Session before a decision was made. Luckily, Fade was out of her sling and she was completely healed by this point, but she would be watching today, not fighting, so it wouldn't have mattered anyway. She pulled out a clipboard and some paper before grabbing a pen and getting prepared. There were seats all around for the interesteds. Deathstar would be arriving shortly to help out, but Fade didn't know if she would have her out there with the Trainees or inside with Fade, that would be up to Star.
Deathstar recieved the news about the danger room recuiting new members and heads down the base of the mansion, She walked in the danger room viewing area surprised to see fade beat her to the punch. "Hey there stranger!, I don't know about you but I'm kind of excited to see the new ones in action" she says as she pours herself some cofee and sits next to Fade waiting patiently for the others.

Michael had heard about an X-men recruiting thing going on down in the danger room and it had taken some will power not to run there. Instead he’d managed to settle for a brisk walk. Reaching the danger room he entered, seeing two women inside. Unsure of the correct protocol he simply smiled and took a seat.

Ted had received the message that anyone looking to be an X-man should head on down to the danger room. This was something he hadn't expected, he had thought that there would be some kind of age limit. Ordinarily, he wouldn't have bothered, but now that he had his powers under control, he should be fine. He hoped.
He walked into the danger room, and saw that a young woman was there. She was holding a clipboard, and so he automatically assumed that she was important. Maybe she'd be deciding who got to be an X-man. He felt like he was back in school, trying to get into the rugby team. Though, then it had been an unpleasent old man who had been holding a clipboard. And it had been raining. He remembered that rain vividly.
He snapped back into reality, and waved at the woman. "Hi! I'm Ted. You deciding who gets to be an X-man?" He then noticed that Michael was already there. "Oh hey there, you want to be an X-man too?" He mentally slapped himself at the pointlessness of the question, but it wasn't like he could tkae it back. He chose to take a seat instead.

I'd like Raina to be an x-men, Though I am developing her ability, I always planned to have Raina be more of a subtle fighter. I think she demonstrated a great ability during everything with iris, but I plan to have her develope more with the new plot. Anyway, I'd like if after everything is over, she became an x-men

The cat girl had caught wind of the X-Men try-outs. She over heard some of the other students discussing it but most of them decided not to go as they felt they wanted to wait longer. However, Nika wanted to give it a try so she made hr way to the Danger Room.
When Nika entered she saw a few people already there. She recognized all of them as she had seen or met them at various times. Smiling as she walked to the arrangement of chairs Nika was in her usual cheerful self. She sat and crossed her legs under her while her tail flicked slightly behind her.
Deja, walked up to the living room, when she heard about becoming an X men. She decided after the Prof. blocked some of her power, she had it under control, and now, she was actually enjoying, her power. Deja quickly, went up to her room, and changed into a blue tanktop and black jeans with sneakers. As she made her way downstairs to the dangeroom, she smiled. Eventually, she was there, and noticed others she didnt know. She then smiled, and sat next to a guy, with blonde hair, and was very cute.
"Hi, I'm Deja, and you are?" Deja then noticed, another guy,and a girl she smiled. Sam then layed back in her seat.

Ali had also found out about students being given a chance to try out to be an X-Man and so she too went to the Danger Room. There was a good sized group of people already in the Danger Room. Ther were still plenty of empty chairs so the redhead sat in one and looked around at the others.
A group of students had been talking about it when Nail had come by. He had only offically turned in all of his paperwork to the school 20 minutes previous, and he was officially working here as a janitor now... Not the best job in the world maybe, but considering he was getting free room and board in return, he figured it was pretty sweet.
"Yeah, their saying the older students can try out to become x-men if they got to the dangerroom."
Nail remembered Neena mentioning that the danger roomwould be a good place for him to go and get some training in for his abilities. He considered it, but didn't head there right away. But halfway to his room, he realised the x-men were the people he had been fighting at KP, and they were the ones fighting Syn, Abyss, and Kaz.
The prospect of revenge was too sweet to miss. He headed down to the danger room with help and directions from students. Upon entering, he found others siting, abviously here to be tested. He recognised only Fade, who he had mey when he had first gotten to the school, and had helped get to the infirmery. He took a seat, but stayed silent. He still didn't know much, so he figured it was best to stay quite and ignorant, rather than open his mouth and remove all doubt.

Naomi was extatic. She had only just entered the school, but she wanted to jump right in and help right away. The X-men, she believed, was her way of helping others, and finding a way to bring about balance and peace between mutants and humans. She had witnessed first hand the prejudace and suffering caused by this conflict in her own country, and she was determined to make sure no one else would go through what she had.
She arrived late, and a large groupe of people where already there, She figured she would be late, because she had spend so much time putting together her training outfit. She was wearing a pair of short jean shorts, which she believed would allow her to be much more nimble of her feet. She also wore a white tang top, and her hair was held up in a bun by two decrative chopsticks.
"Hello everyone," she said with a bow, " I am here to try out for the x-men!"
She took a seat, crossing her legs and smiling at everyone, anxcious and wanting to get started.
Fade nodded hello to everyone that came in and smiled over at Deathstar. "Me too, it will be fun to see how much better these guys are than me." She joked. After it looked like everyone had entered, she put her clipboard to the side and stood up, time to begin. She left the door open for anyone that was late, that way everyone had a fair chance.
"Good morning, guys." She smiled. "First off, if you would like some coffee, it's right over there," She pointed to the coffee pot, "However I wouldn't suggest it before a training session, so you can say 'If I get through this, I get coffee!'" Best to start on a good note. This was serious, of course, but nothing to get all worked up about. Another thing an X-Man has to be good at is getting along with other X-Men. They have to be team mates.
"So, the point of this is so that I can get a feel for how you do in battle, not only individually, but as a team. I want to see how well you look out for your team mates because when you become an X-Man, you become family to your fellow X-Man. We look out for eachother and we fight as a team. There will be times that we need to separate, but if anyone cannot go on, then all of you others must take care of them and make sure nothing bad happens to them. Again, don't worry. If you are hurt, we will get you out of there, and nothing will be thought poorly of you. Even X-Men get hurt or severely wounded, heck, it's happened to me quite a bit..." A bit off topic but since it was personal, she hoped it would calm them down. "So, let's get to it! Deathstar over here, well," Fade looked over at Deathstar after making the decision. "Deathstar will be down there with you, evaluating you from an X-Man's position. I will be up here in the control room, making sure everything is going smoothly and evaluating you based on what I see and hear. So just work as a team, look out for eachother, and kick some robot butt." A smile to keep them calm before she opened the door into the actual training area, leaving it open for any stragglers. She went back to her seat and watched out the window to make sure everyone was prepared, she wouldn't turn it on just yet.
Quinn entered the room, a smile on his "This is better then ever, now I get to learn everything I need to know about these mutant's fighting abilities all at once. " Quinn gave a nod to Fade sa he entered and approached the pot of coffe, he poured himself a cup and grabbed a seat by Fade "Hello there, I figured I would help you out with the evaluations, also this way I can learn about some of the students I will be teaching." He said politely to the woman.
"By the way my name is Quinn" he said as he watched the students getting prepared, he recognized the cat girl from when he first arrived, Nika was her name. He didn't know the rest of the mutants, but he was sure this training was going to be interesting, and it will give him a good bit of intel.

Daisake was a little late. he raned into the danger room in mid speech. he got the most of everthing explained, at least he hoped he didnt miss anything to needed to become a X-men. it was the biggest talk of all in the building. daisake knew he had to be apart of a great cause. and what good way to start then being a X-men. Dai looked Around at the others. Some he had seen before and dome he didnt. he was always into some darn book he didnt even really notice. but know that he was there he was ready fromt he test to begen and hopefully he make it through
Deathstar remained seated greeting everyone that entered the room, while looking around she only recognized the cat girl Nika but the rest was fresh meat in her eyes. She stood up as Fade introduce her to the recruits, giving off a small smirk toward her. "Sorry don't mean to interupt Fade, but this a serious matter and I expect everyone to give their all, so lets go shall we" she said in a serious voice as she entered the danger room stretching along the way.

Michael listened intently as Fade spoke. A test huh, well he’d give it all he had. As for teamwork, he’d do his best to work with the others. After all, while his powers offered great defence, he didn’t really have anything to hit back with. Deathstar was a little more serious about it than Fade, but Michael wasn’t that bothered.
When the doors to the main training area opened he followed Deathstar through. He wasn’t sure what was going to happen, as Fade hadn’t really been specific in what the test was going to be, but he figured he’d find out soon enough.
