The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

She checked her mustache in the mirror one last time. It sat a little crooked, but wasn't as bad as before. And it complimented her monocle and top hat tremendously. As for Brickson... She hefted her bag and left the hall mirror alone. It had taken some looking to find clothes big enough, but this was crucial to their disguise.
"Wakey, wakey~♫ Eggs and Bac-y~♬" Though it was near noon, Lori had it on good authority that Bauccus Brickson was sleeping last night's liquor off. Ah, to be free again. To only worry about yourself... she missed those days. And she didn't.
The bag, she tossed at the snoring lump on the bed. "We have a meeting, remember? Get dressed, there's coffee in the kitchen." And coffee didn't sound too bad even if it was midday.
She turned, flounced her tails and made her way to the kitchen. A light lunch would kill her either.

The alarm next to the giant’s bed was impacted on the dresser next to his bed, another ten dollars down the drain. If it wasn’t for it attempting to wake him at eleven in the morning it would have lived to see another day but then again alarm clocks never last very long with Bacchus. Half off drinks at the hole in the wall bar and Bacchus was in heaven, all he ended up spending was forty dollars on drinks for himself and a few dollars on a few drinks for others, to sum up a pretty expensive night but it was a good one. Sure money was super tight seeing, as Slate but he no longer employed him need to blow off some steam every now and then.
A knock on the door and Bacchus groaned as his occasional giant like senses and a nasty hangover magnified the footsteps and clinks of bottles on his floor along with the door opening. The giant grunted and pulled the pillow over his head and curled his massive body into a ball that was about the size of a shorter person.
The smell was familiar as well as the voice, he had never been a huge fan of Jenny, err or Lori whatever she was going with now. Not sure that even Lori was the right name Bacchus mumbled as he recalled the ‘meeting’ he was supposed to have with the woman that had tried to kill him on one occasion. An occasion that was forgiven seeing as Bacchus was placed into the hospital after getting a kick back with her own mutation, a fact that Bacchus was more than proud of.
”Irish coffee?” Bacchus asked as he mumbled something about Lori and then reached into the indented nightstand and rummaged for a full metallic flask. What ever it was he would take it the best way to get over a hangover is either puke or start drinking, he wasn’t going to waste the booze by puking so drinking was the best option in his opinion.
Not exactly sure what the meeting included Bacchus lifted the bag and removed the clothing inside not really sure how to respond at first but after he put it on and looked in the mirror he was moderately satisfied with the way the way everything fit.
Walking into the kitchen with another swig from his flask Bacchus squittened his eyes and went straight for the coffee in hopes to jump-start his system. ”Why am I wearing this and what am I doing?”

"Good sir, you are to accompany-th me post haste to a meeting that forth-with is uhhh..." As much fun as it was to be silly --and really, wasn't the point of the silly costumes to be an extra little slap in the face?-- the old English gentleman was not an act Lori had much rehearsed. She saved them both some pain and anguish and dropped it altogether, though she did keep her pinky raised on the hand that adjusted her monocle.
"Yeah, we're crashing a fancy pants Russian party. They're throwing a private gala in our insurance radius and if we just let them do whatever they want in here, they're gonna start getting the wrong idea."
Lori, who was sitting cross-legged on the kitchen table was holding Bacchus' mug for him while he up-ended his flask. "The party is supposed to be some kind of charitable fund raiser celebration scheme. Whatever. I don't care. They're not milking the cows in our backyard. This is a test and we need to show them what we're made of."
As for the pseudo-fancy duds... "There's a dress code to get in." She shrugged and passed the mug over to the big guy, careful not to spill a single drop from the over full mug. "But there will be plenty of women and money to grab." She shrugged that pretty much covered it. "Ready?"
Considering that the point was for them to make a scene, the "Irish coffee" was only going to help.

Mug now in hand Bacchus poured a little coffee into his mouth, followed by a lot of whatever was currently in the flask into the mug, it was way to early to care what he was drinking in his opinion. It was funny, when he was in prison all he could think about was not drinking as much, now all he could do was wonder what he had left to drink before he had to go out again to the nearest liquor store.
The giant smirked slightly at her poor accent and he over use of ‘ye ol’ english’ Bacchus took a sip from his mug as he tucked the flask inside his penguin suit jacket and then looked to the blonde and nodded his head to her plan. She was running the show now after all and as long as she paid Bacchus was more than willing to help. ”Silly Russians,” Bacchus said taking another swig of his mug, ”Pretty sure I already have a rep with some of them. Roughed a few of them up during my stay at the pen.”
”Money and women, huh?” Bacchus asked his attention fixed more than before, ”Pretty sure I’m alright on the woman front, Isabel good enough company in my opinion but the money, are we taking it for a specific reason or do we split it?” Bacchus asked curiously, ”It sounds fun though so I’m in.” Bacchus said his eyebrow raising as he lifted the mug back to his mouth, ”Can I bring some friends to help greet the Russians? Think you might enjoy this one…” Bacchus said grinning slightly. Already thinking of a few critters and creepy crawlies that would love to play with some Russians.
