The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Jorge
Apparently what he said was beginning to make some connections in Kitten’s head. The Princess, on the other hand did not seem to want to participate at all. She was quiet and glaring at him as if he were little more than some bumbling serf who had gotten mud on her shoes. Either way he did not like either of them at the moment and he simply wanted them to vanish. He definitely wanted to vanish and just return home, he needed a shower, bad. Not only was he tired but this whole evening had proved to be nothing short of an irritation.
It needed to end so he could return to his own bed.
As the lawyer began to make connections about drug deals going on, he nodded his head. This was going to help at least point some fingers in the right directions. But that did not mean he needed to be around to listen to them the rest of the night.
Jorge watched the pair of them glance at each other, trying to connect pieces and realized that they would slowly be remembering more. It was best that all this was captured down on paper rather than left by chance for them to remember later on. Turning his back on them he headed to one of the nearest desks and grabbed a pair of yellow legal pads, as well as a pair of working pens before he returned to the pair of them. He handed them both their paper and writing utensils. It looked more like they were getting ready to take a final exam than a statement.
“Both of you, write down everything you know, especially considering those drugs you mentioned.” he said with a sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose to fight off another migraine. “As soon as you’re done,” he turned to Ashton and clapped him on the shoulder. “Detective Drake will arrange for pair of squad cars to take you home.” He turned to go, his job was done, he wanted those people out of his precinct and he needed a bed. But before he left, he turned back to Ashton and nodded to him. “By the way, they give you any more lip, any problems at all, you have my permission to shoot them.”
With that Detective Cervantes sighed as he headed for one of the back rooms. He needed to wash up and get at least part of this day off of him before he could head home. It had been a long day and the last thing he wanted was to stick around the precinct for much longer. The whole amnesia incident, the revelation of the M drugs, the insanity had having to deal with the Princess and Kitten, it was all too much to handle right now.
Sleep…sleep was what was needed right now. If only to bury this experience for another day…

Mugen
The guy had been holding out on them, after all. Riley didn't say much of anything to him. Somehow, that pissed Ashton off more. Even if he was trying to ignore her.
Ignoring was good. Nobody had to listen to them, anyways. Cervantes gave them papers to write their statements.
Ashton waited, impatiently, for the duo to finish those statements. The guy who had held out on them was more than helpful in his. Up until her exit in the squad car, Riley didn't say anything at all. The two of them left, leaving Ashton with a load of questions and an investigation on his hands.
After everything that had happened, there hadn't been much more to say to Riley. The two of them had kept quiet the rest of the ordeal. Boarded separate squad cars. Left.
A few days later, Aurum found out from the newspapers that Lonnie and Andrea Hart had been arrested. Apparently, all the information and evidence he'd supplied in his statement had led the police to a successful arrest. By that time, everything else had come back. What Lonnie had said to him, before he'd gotten kidnapped and taken away. Andrea's confession. Not that that mattered. It had been too late on the murder angle. She'd been deemed 'not guilty' of that crime already. Double jeopardy. She couldn't be put on trial again for the same crime. They'd found other things to try her for. Her and Lonnie had been sent away to prison for a very long time. Aurum never found out why Lonnie had been so gung-ho on M, though... or... the bunny-shifting and the slinging of brightly-colored eggs. He never found out who the man had been working for. Neither did the police. All the little loose ends he'd been involved with had been handled, save for that.
He hadn't even thought to get Riley's number, to pay her back for any destroyed furniture and doors.
