The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(OOC: Sure, that's fine.)
Neena grinned and nodded. She backed up another step, giving Damian time to reign in the barrier, and using it to do a quick mental calculation, taking into account the one bot couldn't see anymore.
"All right Tarzan," she remarked out loud, "let's see if I can give you a run for your money."
She bent down and picked up a pair of small rocks, then stepped in front of Damian and let out an ear-piercing whistle. "Hey! Laurel and Hardy! Over here!" She flung the rocks at each machine to be sure she had their attention. Once both were firing their bee bees at her, she ran toward the boulder, yipping and yelling like the Natives on an old western flick. The noise made sure both bots followed her movements. Damian's barrier seemed to be working, and she felt no painful contact.
With a grin she pushed off against the boulder, reaching up to grab one of the vines, and began swinging back and forth. A major part of her plan depended on the bots not being self-learning. After several swings, and the machines still shooting at her and not the vine, confirmed it. She shook her head, still 'yippie-kai-yaying'. She thrust herself left and right, until she had the momentum she needed. Another quick calculation, adjust her position, another swing and....
Neena let go as her swing reached the right angle, launching herself at the robots. Just as she flew between them she twisted ever so slightly and yelled, "Drop it!! at Damian.
Two sharp pains pierced her sides at the same moment, and her fall finished with her rolling into a ball on the ground. She uncurled and ran at top speed for the shelter of the nearest tree.
Behind her, the robots shuddered for a moment as the bee bees peirced each others' exteriors, right over the spot Damian had wanted Neena to shoot out. She hoped he would notice, and finish the job.
She felt something wet on her sides, and looked down. Her blue shirt was stained red, just under her ribcage. Lifting her shirt a bit, she noticed the deep groove in her left side. In the same place on her right was small hole. Both wounds were bleeding freely. She tilted her head and sighed.
"Guess I should've leaned to the left more. Oh well...." She took off her shirt, reavealing a black sports bra-slash-excersize top, and tore it into strips. She carefully bound the wounds, mumbling irritably to herself about needing more gymnastics lessons.
Damian watched in awe as the woman did this. When he reicieved his signal he understood, he had dropped the barrier and saw the bee bee's pierce her and both the robots. He nodded to himself in recognition and lifted both hands. He mentally pulled the red wires and the robots flickered off and fell over.
Damian was smiling and walking towards Neena as the Danger Room returned to it's usual appearance. He put his hand on her wounds and began telekinetically removing the bee bee's from her body. When they were removed he smiled and walked into the Observatory Room.

Neena grinned. "Game, set, and match. Nice work." Once the bullets were gone, she thanked him, then followed him to the observation room, twisting as she did to test her wounds. She winced a bit, then sighed.
"Well, guess I can still feel pain. Haven't grown out of that one." She paused to look at herself in the reflection off the windows. Numerous scars stood out in bold relief against her dark skin. She turned sideways, and winced again. With a slight frown, she turned to Damian.
"You wouldn't happen to know if there's an infirmary here would you? I didn't exactly wait for the tour when I got here..."
Blood was beginning to seep through her shirt, more on the right than left side.
"Yeah." Damian said as he was fixing his hair. "He pressed a button and a map flew out of the printer. He then took a marker that was lying around and made 2 X's on it. "The small X is where we are and the big one is the infirmary." he said. He then waved his hands and walked out the open door.
Once outside, Damian turned towards the War Room and stopped right oputside the door. He flicked his hand and a passage opened. He walked into it and it closed as he walked by.

Neena accepted the map, scrutinizing it carefully. "Oooo.... So that's where that hall ends up... Thanks." She smiled.
As he left, a bit suddenly, she tilted her head curiously. <"Hmm... curious...">
Pain stabbed at her again, and she decided she'd better wait till later to satisfy her curiosity.
"Computer, deactivate." The Danger Room systematically began shutting down, until the room was again as dark as she'd found it. Then she left the room, hand holding her side, putting extra pressure on it.
Out in the hallway, she made a few wrong turns and ended up staring at a wall. Frowning, she took a closer look at the map.
"Oooo.... whoops...." She turned it around, realizing it had been upside down. She made her way back where she'd come from, and headed upstairs to the Infirmary.
