The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The Corner Cafe * - Waking up after a nap in the back of a cafe, Rhythm goes after a cute girl into a war zone in The Corner Cafe. Why? Because she's cute. And the seven foot tall metal mutant with three tails (all tri spiked) needed to be stopped from hurting more people. (Andrew Leroy, Lydia Renard, Rhythm)
You should see the other guy... * - The fight with the metal mutant over, Rhythm is transported back to Xavier's School...more specifically the infirmary, where Rhythm is introduced to DocProf, as well as the people the unintentionally helped from the threat at the Corner Cafe. (Andrew Leroy, Lydia Renard, Rhythm)
20+ Questions * - It's not all fun and games...well, ever. And now the harder part gets here as Rhythm actually has to answer questions from a cop that she's only ever seen in a Santa Claus costume. Great. (Andrew Leroy, Lydia Renard, Jorge Cervantes, Rhythm)
Rule #1: Don't pickpocket psychos. * - Hunger drives people to do crazy things, and Rhythm is pretty damn hungry. Too bad the person she decided to pickpocket has no qualms with murdering her on the spot for it. (Isabel Duskmoor, Rhythm)
Mugging in Penn Station[/u] - While contemplating her next move, Ashley sees a mugging take place and feels her body react before her mind has time to catch up. And what's the reward for her good deed? Getting blinded by the very person she was trying to help. Good times. (Cree Mendez, Aura, Rhythm)
Cheery Cheeks * - Let's just call this one a...surprise run in. Just another one for Ashley to chalk up to her Fate-O-Meter when she meets a beautiful human girl.(Bentley Mae, Rhythm)
Accidental Potseluy * - All she wanted was a trenchcoat and a cell phone. But with a lack of money something like that is usually hard to do, unless you're Rhythm, who steals things on a regular basis. But this time, things went just a tad bit wrong, and a trip to the Isis Clinic became a necessity. Being stabbed is never fun, though some would just call it karma.(Muse, Rhythm)
Questions from a Letter * - Kidnapped...really? Why? She was homeless and fairly useless to anyone. And yet here she was, tied to a chair with someone who would really seemed to enjoy her work. A lot. (Cosmina, Rhythm)
Can't Be Happening! - Must she always play the heroine? Rhythm would sigh and roll her eyes, but she actually likes the person she's helping. It helps when the past couple of weeks have made you really, REALLY angry and you need a random mugger to take it out on. (Bentley Mae, Rhythm)
Rhythm & Blues - Nice day, nice breeze, nice...everything. Rhythm can't help but make music, and so after stealing a guitar (those things are expensive!) she goes to Central Park to finally have some time to relax, just her and the music. At the moment, life was good...for once. (Kealey Quinn, Rhythm)
Diving In - She's been getting these impulses, and Rhythm doesn’t know why. But all she knows that she wants to impress a girl she likes, and the only way she's gonna do that is by getting a really cool motorcycle. They make people impressed, right? Right? (Geo, Cree Mendez, Rhythm)
Ow. My pride. * - Things just can't stay, you know...good. The sudden pain and agony Ashley finds herself in decides for her that a trip to the Mansion infirmary is needed, and she has no say in the matter. Luckily they know here there, so this little problem can be all mopped up in a few minutes...well, more or less. (Andrew Leroy, Rhythm)
Rule #2: Don't grope werewolves. - A small, uneventful trip was suppose to be just that; uneventful. But someone must have wanted her to be in pain, because groping werewolves is never a good thing, accidentally or not. (Emerald, Rhythm)
Bookstores attract strange people. - All she needed was a present of some sort. And she was even going to legally purchase it!! But what to get a ballerina at a bookstore? She pondered this question as she browsed the isles, fully aware that she could barley read any of it. But it was for Bentley, so...she would endure. And maybe, along the way...encounter someone strange. It was a bookstore, after all. (Charlie Fletcher, Rhythm)
The Closet * - Her usual haunt to play her guitar; The Closet. Ever since taking the instrument up again she's only been encouraged to expand her talent. And at The Closet, she found an audience that was willing to listen and people that were willing to help that talent grow. And, perhaps, help others that needed help... (Agnes Nicholas, Rhythm)
Rule #3: Run while you still can. - Depressed and alone, the poor guitarist only wants to drown herself in pity and ice cream. Unfortunately, the very woman who started all her emotional problems has no qualms with adding more on the pile...and Rhythm has no qualms letting her. (Isabel Duskmoor, Rhythm)
Lost and More Lost - A sense of failure, a sense of loss. Rhythm runs for her life and her freedom, and in the end will more likely then not lose both. With nothing to lose, she runs to tell the one person in her life that she loves her...and fails to do that too. (Mirror, Rhythm)
For Her Ladybug...The World. * - For that right someone in their lives, a person will go through hell and give up anything. For Rhythm, the choice between infamy and more money then she could ever imagine and the woman that's consumed her thoughts...was actually pretty easy. (Jorge Cervantes, Rhythm)
How A Ladybug Finds Her Rhythm* - She wanted nothing more in this world then to catch Agnes and hold her. The hidden ache in her body wouldn't let her forget it either, and Ashley decided that maybe, just for today, she'd play a slave to her emotions and capture her Ladybug. (Agnes Nicholas, Rhythm)
Colorful Quest - Never a bad day to relax, especially if you were free when you thought for SURE you were going to the big house. But Rhythm is learning the lesson of appreciating the finer things, and those finer things come in small packages, like laying on the grass on a hot summer day. To bad that even on days like this people still feel the need to do evil things. Too bad for them, Rhythm's there to smash evil's face in...so to speak. (Celeste Manfrella, Amber Thirsis, Rhythm)
Greenwich Village Street Fair - Never a bad time for food, fun and accidentally pickpocketing random strangers. No, really...what the hell was wrong with her fingers?! (Phoenix, Rhythm)
